Claims (7)
- 車両室内のダッシュボード下部に設けられると共に、着座乗員の膝頭の略前方に配置される衝撃吸収体を備え、
前記衝撃吸収体は、略中央部が左右部より突起した形状を有し、突起した略中央部の横方向剛性が左右部の横方向剛性より高くなっているが、略中央部の前後方向剛性が左右部の前後方向剛性より低くなっていることを特徴とする乗員保護装置。 - 前記衝撃吸収体は、薄肉鋼板材を成形することによって構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の乗員保護装置。
- 前記衝撃吸収体は、前記薄肉鋼板材に、切り欠き及びエンボスの少なくとも一方が形成されて剛性が調整されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の乗員保護装置。
- 車両室内のダッシュボード下部に設けられると共に、着座乗員の膝頭の略前方に配置される衝撃吸収体を備え、
前記衝撃吸収体は、膨張又は展開可能な袋体により構成され、略中央部の横方向剛性が左右部の横方向剛性より高くなっており、略中央部が左右部より突起した形状となるように膨張又は展開し、略中央部は左右部よりも先に膨張又は展開することを特徴とする乗員保護装置。 - 前記衝撃吸収体は、前記袋体の内部に補強用の仕切膜が設けられて剛性が調整されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の乗員保護装置。
- 前記衝撃吸収体は、前記袋体の内部が複数の気室に分割され、複数の気室それぞれの膨張又は展開時の圧力を調節することで、各気室の剛性が調整されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の乗員保護装置。
- 前記衝撃吸収体は、複数の前記袋体により構成され、前記複数の袋体それぞれの膨張又は展開時の圧力を調節することで、各袋体の剛性が調整されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の乗員保護装置。
