Claims (7)
- 原子炉用の冷却水用チューブの製造方法であって、
A.ジルカロイから形成されて、第一の端部と第二の端部とそれら第一の端部と第二の端部との間に位置する中央部とを有する一本の筒状材を確保する工程と、
B.前記第一の端部の外径を機械的に減少させて、前記中央部の外径よりも小さな外径を有するような第一の小径部と、その第一の小径部と前記中央部との間の第一の中間部とを形成する工程と、
C.前記第二の端部の外径を機械的に減少させて、前記中央部の外径よりも小さな外径を有するような第二の小径部と、その第二の小径部と前記中央部との間の第二の中間部とを形成する工程と、
D.前記第一の小径部と前記第二の小径部とをトリミングして、最終的な全長を有する冷却水用チューブを提供する工程と、
E.前記第一の小径部と前記第二の小径部の各々の壁に穴を形成する工程とを有し、
前記第一の端部の外径を機械的に減少させる前記工程が、前記第一の端部を室温でスエージ加工して尖った先端部を形成し、そのスエージ加工された第一の端部を室温で引抜き加工して前記第一の小径部を提供する工程を含み、
前記第二の端部の外径を機械的に減少させる前記工程が、前記第二の端部を室温でスエージ加工して尖った先端部を形成し、そのスエージ加工された第二の端部を室温で引抜き加工して前記第二の小径部を提供する工程を含んでいることを特徴とする冷却水用チューブの製造方法。 - 前記第一の端部を引抜き加工する工程と前記第二の端部を引抜き加工する工程とが、それぞれ、ダイスを介してそれら端部を引抜き加工する工程を含んでいる、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記ダイスが単一のテーパーダイスを含んでいる、請求項2に記載の製造方法。
- 前記第一の端部を引抜き加工する前記工程が、その引抜き加工中に前記筒状材内にサポートを挿入する工程を含み、前記第二の端部を引抜き加工する前記工程が、その引抜き加工中に前記筒状材内にサポートを挿入する工程を含んでいる、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記サポートがマンドレル又はプラグである、請求項4に記載の製造方法。
- 前記第一の端部と前記第二の端部とをトリミングする前記工程を、前記第一の端部の形状と前記第二の端部の形状とを同一形状に形成するように実施する、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記第一の端部を引抜き加工する前記工程が、前記筒状材の側壁と前記チューブの長さ方向軸線との間で11°〜13°のテーパー角を有する円錐形状の前記第一の中間部を形成する工程を含み、前記第二の端部を引抜き加工する前記工程が、前記筒状材の側壁と前記チューブの長さ方向軸線との間で11°〜13°のテーパー角を有する円錐形状の前記第二の中間部を形成する工程を含んでいる、請求項1に記載の方法。
