Description
実施例
微細分散性のチタン亜酸化物2モルおよび微細分散性の酸化クロム粉末Cr2O31モルを、ボールミル中での混合粉砕によって緊密に互いに混合し、加圧によって圧縮し、炉中で空気の下で1380℃(保持時間4時間)で完全に変換させる。この場合には、単相のTi2Cr2O7または換言すれば2TiO2*Cr2O3が生成される。この粉末を遊星形ボールミル中で3.9μmの平均粒径を有する微細分散性の状態に変える。引続き、この粉末を水中に分散させ、ボールミル中で16時間粉砕する。この場合には、懸濁液に同時にポリビニルアルコールおよびポリエチレングリコールからなる適合された結合剤1.5質量%と混合し、引続き噴霧乾燥によって球状の形の顆粒を製造する。被覆粉末への顆粒の脱結合および焼結を、一段の熱処理で平らな黒鉛坩堝中でアルゴンの下で600℃まで5K/分および1300℃の焼結温度まで10K/分の加熱速度で30分間の等温保持時間で行なう。焼結された粉末を注意深く粉砕した。45μmを上廻る画分の分離を篩別によって行ない、10μm未満の画分の分離を空気選別によって行なった。分別後の10μm未満の粉末の微細含量は、4%であった。
Claims (8)
- マグネリ相を有する化学的に変性されたチタン亜酸化物を基礎とする被覆粉末において、この被覆粉末が一般式Tin-2Cr2O2n-1またはTin-2V2O2n-1、但し、nは、少なくとも3の値を有する整数であり、によって記載されており、10〜90μmの範囲内の粒径を有することを特徴とする、マグネリ相を有する化学的に変性されたチタン亜酸化物を基礎とする被覆粉末。
- nがn±2の範囲を含む、請求項1記載の被覆粉末。
- nが5未満である場合、nについて離散した値に相当する1つの相のみが検出可能である、請求項1または2に記載の被覆粉末。
- nが5以上である場合、2つの相が検出可能である、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の被覆粉末。
- 被覆粉末が10〜45μmの範囲内の粒径を有する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の被覆粉末。
- 被覆粉末が球状の形態を有し、3%を上廻る開放型の多孔度を有し、5μm未満の粒径範囲の一緒に焼結された個々の粒子からなる、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の被覆粉末。
- 一緒に焼結された個々の粒子からなる被覆粉末の開放型多孔度が10%を上廻る、請求項6記載の被覆粉末。
- 被覆粉末が角のある形態を有し、10%未満の開放型多孔度を有している、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の被覆粉末。
