- 初期CMYデータ値における相対グレー度を決定し、

前記初期CMYデータ値の各々について、対応する最大グレーバランス調整値の一部と対応する最大彩度調整値の一部とを加算して、グレーバランス調整され彩度調整されたCMYデータ値の各々を生成する、
グレーバランス調整および彩度調整の方法であって、
前記対応する最大グレーバランス調整値の一部が、前記相対グレー度の関数であり、前記最大彩度調整値の一部が、前記相対色度の関数であり、
前記相対グレー度を決定することは、RATIO=MIN(C,M,Y)/MAX(C,M,Y)を用いて相対的グレー度を決定することを含み、
MIN(C,M,Y)は前記初期CMYデータ値の最小値であり、MAX(C,M,Y)は該初期CMYデータ値の最大値であり、
前記相対色度を決定することは、(1-RATIO)を計算することを含み、
対応する最大グレーバランス調整値の一部と対応する最大彩度調整値の一部とを加算して、グレーバランス化され彩度調整されたCMYデータ値の各々を生成することは、
C=GRAYBAL C(C)*RATIO+SAT C(C)*(1-RATIO) M=GRAYBAL M(M)*RATIO+SAT M(M)*(1-RATIO) Y=GRAYBAL Y(Y)*RATIO+SAT Y(Y)*(-1-RATIO)を含み、
