Claims (17)
- 第1の圧力において空気を吸入するとともに、第1の圧力より高い第2の圧力において空気を出力する、第1の圧縮機と、
タービンにより駆動され、第2の圧力において第1の圧縮機から空気を吸入するとともに、第2の圧力より高い第3の圧力において空気を排気する、第2の圧縮機と、
第2の圧縮機から第3の圧力において空気を受け取り、空気から酸素を除去するための空気分離モジュールと、
を含む、空気の酸素含有量を低減することにより可燃性を低減する、燃料分配システムのための不活性化システムであって、
前記タービンは、入口と出口を含み、この入口は、第3の圧力において空気を受け取り、この出口は、酸素が減少された空気を第3の圧力より低い第4の圧力において燃料分配システムへと排気し、
第3の圧力は、第1の圧縮機の圧力容量より高い圧力であることを特徴とする不活性化システム。 - 前記第1の圧縮機を駆動するためのモータを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の圧縮機から排気された空気を冷却するための第1の熱交換器を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の圧縮機から排気された空気を冷却するための第2の熱交換器を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の圧縮機から排気された空気から水を除去するための水収集装置を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記空気分離モジュールに流入する前に空気中の汚染物質を収集するための濾過器を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記タービンに流入する前に空気を加熱するための第3の熱交換器を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記燃料分配システムは、燃料タンクであり、前記システムは、燃料タンク内の空気を酸素が減少された空気と置き換えて可燃性を低減することを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記タービンは、第3の圧力における空気により駆動されて、第2の圧縮機を駆動し、空気分離モジュールに流入する空気の圧力を増加して、酸素除去を最適化することを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 制御器と、空気の流れを制御するための電気的に作動される制御弁とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 予め決められた範囲内にある空気の温度に応じて、第2の熱交換器の周りに空気をバイパスさせるためのバイパス回路を含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載のシステム。
- 前記制御器と連通するとともに、空気分離モジュールから排出される酸素含有量をモニタする酸素検出器を含むことを特徴とする請求項10記載のシステム。
- 前記タービンから燃料分配システムへと排気される空気の流れを測定するための流れ測定装置を含むことを特徴とする請求項10記載のシステム。
- 燃料分配システム内の空気から酸素を除去する方法であって、
a. 第1の圧縮機で空気を第1の圧力から第1の圧力より高い第2の圧力に圧縮し、
b. 第2の圧縮機で第2の圧力における空気を第2の圧力より高い第3の圧力に圧縮し、
c. 空気分離モジュールで空気から酸素を除去し、
d. 入口において第3の圧力における空気を受け取りかつ第3の圧力より低い第4の圧力において空気を燃料分配システムへと排気するタービンにより第3の圧力における空気から回収されたエネルギーで第2の圧縮機を駆動する、
ことを含み、
第3の圧力は、第1の圧縮機の圧力容量より高い圧力であることを特徴とする方法。 - 熱交換器で第1の圧縮機から排気される空気を冷却することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。
- 酸素を除去する前に空気から汚染物質を濾過することを含むことを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。
- 前記第3の圧力は、空気分離モジュールのための最適な作動圧力であることを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。
