Description
実施の形態において説明した二次電池を作製した。その際、電極巻回体20の構造は図3に示したものとし、電解質には、エチレンカーボネートとジメチルカーボネートとの体積比が2:8の混合溶媒と、添加物である化5または化6に示した化合物のいずれかと、電解質塩であるLiPF6 とを混合したものを用いた。添加物の添加量は表1に示したように0.01〜1.0mol/lの範囲で変化させ、電解質塩の添加量は1mol/lとした。これは溶媒に対する濃度である。また、正極材料としては、活物質としてのLiCoO2 と、導電剤としてのケッチェンブラックと、結着剤としてのポリフッ化ビニリデンとを質量比が93:3:4になるようにして用いた。更に、負極材料としては、活物質としての平均粒子径が15μmの炭素材と、結着剤としてのポリフッ化ビニリデンとを質量比が94:6になるようにして用いた。
エチレンカーボネートとエチルメチルカーボネートとの体積比が2:8の混合溶媒を用いたことを除き、実施例1と同様にして実施例3の二次電池を作製した。作製した二次電池についても、実施例1と同様にして充放電を行い、300サイクル目の容量保持率を求めた。また、高温状況下に放置された後の自己放電率を求めた。得られた結果を表2に示す。
負極活物質としてのスズと銅との合金粉末と、導電剤としてのケッチェンブラックと、アセチレンブラックと、結着剤としてのポリフッ化ビニリデンとの質量比が80:11:1:8である負極材料を用いたことを除き、実施例1と同様にして実施例4の二次電池を作製した。作製した二次電池についても、実施例1と同様にして充放電を行い、300サイクル目の容量保持率を求めた。また、高温状況下に放置された後の自己放電率を求めた。得られた結果を表3に示す。なお、合金粉末はスズ粉末90gと銅粉末10gとを混合し、石英ボート上に配置したのち、アルゴン雰囲気中において1000℃で加熱し、更に室温まで冷却して得られた塊を、アルゴン雰囲気中でボールミルにより粉砕したものを用いた。

- 前記化1および化2に示した化合物の濃度は前記溶媒に対して合計で、0.5mol/l以下である請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池用電解質。
- 前記化3および化4に示した化合物の濃度は前記溶媒に対する合計で、0.5mol/l以下である請求項3記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
