Claims (14)
- 液晶表示パネルに用いられるカラーフィルタ基板であって、
透明基板と、
前記透明基板上に設けられた少なくとも3色の着色層と、
表示領域内の画素周辺部に設けられたセルギャップを規定する第1柱状構造体と、
前記表示領域内の画素周辺部または前記表示領域外に設けられた第2柱状構造体であって、前記第1柱状構造体よりも高さが小さく、前記第1柱状構造体との高さの違いが、前記第1柱状構造体の弾性変形範囲を超えている、カラーフィルタ基板。 - 前記表示領域内の画素周辺部および/または前記表示領域外の額縁領域にブラックマトリクスを有し、前記第1および第2柱状構造体は、前記ブラックマトリクス上に形成されている、請求項1に記載のカラーフィルタ基板。
- 前記第1柱状構造体と前記第2柱状構造体との差は0.4μm以上である、請求項1または2に記載のカラーフィルタ基板。
- 前記第1柱状構造体は複数の樹脂層を有し、前記第2柱状構造体は前記第1柱状構造体の前記複数の樹脂層の内の少なくとも1つの樹脂層を有していない、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のカラーフィルタ基板。
- 前記第1柱状構造体は複数の樹脂層を有し、前記第1柱状構造体と前記第2柱状構造体とは、共通の樹脂層を有し、前記共通の樹脂層は同じ厚さを有している、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載のカラーフィルタ基板。
- 前記複数の樹脂層は感光性樹脂層を含む、請求項4または5に記載のカラーフィルタ基板。
- 前記複数の樹脂層は、前記少なくとも3色の着色層の内の少なくとも2層を含む、請求項4または5に記載のカラーフィルタ基板。
- 画素領域内に配向制御用突起構造体をさらに有する、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載のカラーフィルタ基板。
- 前記配向制御用突起構造体は、前記第2柱状構造体と共通の層を有する、請求項8に記載のカラーフィルタ基板。
- 前記表示領域内において、前記第2柱状構造体は行方向または列方向において互いに隣接する2つの前記第1柱状構造体間の距離を略2等分する位置に配置された第2柱状構造体を含む、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載のカラーフィルタ基板。
- 前記表示領域外にシール部を有し、前記第2柱状構造体は、前記表示領域の最も外側に配置された前記第1柱状構造体または前記第2柱状構造体と前記シール部との最短距離を略2等分する位置に配置された第2柱状構造体を含む、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載のカラーフィルタ基板。
- 垂直配向膜をさらに備える請求項1から11のいずれかに記載のカラーフィルタ基板。
- 請求項1から12のいずれかに記載のカラーフィルタ基板を備える液晶表示パネル。
- 請求項13に記載の液晶表示パネルを備える液晶テレビ。
