BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a lubrication structure for an engine provided with a balancer device, and more particularly to a lubrication structure for an engine provided with a balancer device disposed in an oil pan and driven by a chain.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A balancer device that reduces engine vibration in an engine for automobiles or the like is generally built in a cylinder block and driven by a crankshaft by gear drive, but there is a problem of gear backlash in the case of gear drive. Also, if the balancer shaft is supported by the cylinder block, the difference in thermal expansion between the aluminum cylinder block and the iron gear becomes a problem. Therefore, in the gear drive system, a long leg is provided in the balancer device so as to absorb the difference in thermal expansion between the cylinder block and the gear, and the leg is connected to the cylinder block via the leg. Aside from that, a balancer in which an oil pump is integrated with a chain drive suspension type is conventionally known (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Moreover, the structure of the lubricating oil passage of the balancer has been disclosed conventionally (for example, see Patent Document 2), and a structure for performing lubrication of the front journal by piping has been conventionally disclosed (for example, see Patent Document 3).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, the gear-driven balancer device has long legs connected to the cylinder block in order to absorb the thermal expansion difference. In this case, the journal of the balancer device is lubricated by forming an oil passage in the extended leg portion and communicating the oil passage to the oil passage leading to the oil gallery of the cylinder block simultaneously with the assembly of the balancer device. . On the other hand, in the case of a chain drive type balancer device, it is not necessary to extend a long leg to absorb the difference in thermal expansion, but since the leg is not extended, the balancer journal is lubricated in the same lubricating structure as in the case of a gear drive type. Can't do it. It Ru also conceivable to provide an oil passage in the skirt portion of the cylinder block, but then the width of the skirt portion is increased engine becomes wider.
[0005]
Also, in the balancer device that supports the center of the balancer weight part with the rear journal part, the load on the rear journal is heavy, so we want to supply clean oil after passing through the oil filter to the rear journal as much as possible. Since there is a restriction on the filter position due to the arrangement or the like, an oil passage that guides the oil that has passed through the filter to the rear journal may not be formed simply in the cylinder block.
[0006]
Therefore, it becomes a problem to be able to easily form an oil passage for lubricating a chain drive type balancer device.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The lubrication structure for an engine equipped with the balancer device according to
[0008]
In this case, the oil can be supplied to the oil passage for lubricating the rear journal part through the pipe from the oil passage for supplying oil to the oil gallery in the cylinder block, and the oil passage for lubricating the chain drive type balancer device Can be easily formed. And since it was set as the piping structure, the passage route for supplying the oil after passing a filter is easy. In addition, the balancer device is bolted to the skirt lower part of the cylinder block at the rear journal part and the front journal part, whereby the cylinder block skirt part is reinforced and the opening and closing vibration of the skirt part can be suppressed.
[0009]
In particular, in what the oil pump is disposed an oil filter to the cylinder block rear side are arranged in front of the engine, it is possible to perform routing such passage pipe can be simplified oil passage structure of a cylinder block side .
[0010]
An engine lubrication structure including a balancer device according to a second aspect of the invention includes the above-described configuration according to the first aspect of the invention, and the engine is mounted on a vehicle in such a manner that the cylinder row direction is oriented in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. In the longitudinal engine, an auxiliary machine driven by a crankshaft is disposed on the front side of the cylinder block, and an engine mount mounting seat is formed behind the auxiliary machine. Therefore, it is necessary to arrange the oil filter behind the engine mount mounting seat. Therefore, the configuration of the invention according to
[0011]
An engine lubrication structure including a balancer device according to a third aspect of the invention includes the above-described configuration according to the first or second aspect of the invention, and the oil pump is disposed on the extension shaft portion of the balancer shaft. Is. The oil pump can thus be integrated into the balancer device.
[0012]
An engine lubrication structure including a balancer device according to a fourth aspect of the present invention includes the above-described configuration according to any one of the first to third aspects, and includes two balancer shafts on which the balancer device rotates reversely. The unbalanced weight of each balancer shaft is divided into the front and rear of the rear journal, the unbalanced weights of both balancer shafts are offset in the axial direction, and both unbalanced weights are close to each other when viewed in the axial direction. And some overlap. With this configuration, the balancer device can be light and compact while avoiding interference between the unbalanced weight portions of the two balancer shafts, and can generate sufficient vibration force.
