Description
エタノール95gに硝酸を加えて約pH2に調節し、それに平均粒径50nmのCaO粉末5gを加えた後、3時間以上撹拌してゾル状の混合物を準備した。
透明ナノ多孔性CaO薄膜が形成されたソーダガラス基板のシーラント塗布領域に、プラズマ処理の代わりに保護紙をコーティングしたことを除いては、実施例1と同じ方法で行って有機電界発光素子を完成した。
透明ナノ多孔性CaO薄膜が形成されたソーダガラス基板のシーラント塗布領域を、プラズマ処理の代わりにアセトンで洗浄したことを除いては、実施例1と同じ方法で行って有機電界発光素子を完成した。
透明ナノ多孔性CaO薄膜が形成されたソーダガラス基板のシーラント塗布領域を、プラズマ処理の代わりにUVO3洗浄を行ったことを除いては、実施例1と同じ方法で行って有機電界発光素子を完成した。

Claims (10)
- 封止基板上に、ナノサイズの多孔性酸化物粒子と溶媒と酸とを混合して得たゾル状の封止層形成用の組成物をスピンコーティング法、スプレーコーティング法、ディープコーティング法、ディスフェンシング法、またはプリンティング法によりコーティング及び100〜300℃で熱処理して透明ナノ多孔性酸化物膜である封止層を形成する段階と、
前記封止層が形成された前記封止基板のシーラントを塗布する予定の領域を、真空度10−4〜10−5torr、流量100〜300sccmの不活性ガス雰囲気下、RFパワー100〜500Wでプラズマで処理する段階と、
前記プラズマ処理された前記封止基板と、第1電極、発光層及び第2電極が順次に積層されてなる有機電界発光部が形成された基板との少なくとも一方にシーラントを配置する段階と、
前記封止層が形成された前記封止基板と前記有機電界発光部が形成された前記基板とを合着する段階とを含む前面発光方式の有機電界発光素子の製造方法。 - 前記溶媒は、エタノール、メタノール、プロパノール、ブタノール、イソプロパノール、メチルエチルケトン、純水、プロピレングリコール(モノ)メチルエーテル、イソプロピルセルロース、メチレンクロライド、エチレンカーボネートからなる群から選択された一種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光素子の製造方法。
- 前記酸は、硝酸、塩酸、硫酸、および酢酸からなる群から選択された一種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の有機電界発光素子の製造方法。
- 前記ゾル状の透明ナノ多孔性酸化物膜形成用の組成物において、溶媒の含量は、前記ナノサイズの多孔性酸化物粒子を100重量部として60ないし99重量部であり、酸の含量は、ナノサイズの多孔性酸化物粒子を100重量部として0.01ないし0.1重量部であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の有機電界発光素子の製造方法。
- 前記多孔性酸化物粒子は、平均粒径が100nm以下であり、アルカリ金属酸化物、アルカリ土類金属酸化物、金属ハロゲン化物、金属硫酸塩及び金属過塩素酸塩からなる群から選択された一種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の有機電界発光素子の製造方法。
- 前記アルカリ金属酸化物は、Li2O、Na2OまたはK2Oであり、
前記アルカリ土類金属酸化物は、BaO、CaO、またはMgOであり、
前記金属硫酸塩は、Li2SO4、Na2SO4、CaSO4、MgSO4、CoSO4、Ga2(SO4)3、Ti(SO4)2、またはNiSO4であり、
前記金属ハロゲン化物は、CaCl2、MgCl2、SrCl2、YCl2、CuCl2、CsF、TaF5、NbF5、LiBr、CaBr3、CeBr4、SeBr2、VBr2、MgBr2、BaI2またはMgI2であり、
前記金属過塩素酸塩は、Ba(ClO4)2またはMg(ClO4)2であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機電界発光素子の製造方法。 - 前記封止層は、透明ナノ多孔性CaO膜であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光素子の製造方法。
- 前記シーラントは、熱硬化性樹脂またはUV硬化性樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光素子の製造方法。
- 前記合着する段階において、減圧、UV照射及び熱硬化工程を経ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光素子の製造方法。
- 請求項1ないし9のうちいずれか1項に記載の方法によって製造された前面発光方式の有機電界発光素子。
