本発明は、フィルム包装材で農作物等の物品を包装する包装装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の包装装置としては、例えば、フィルム包装材を保持する一つの包装材保持手段を設けるとともに、この一つの包装材保持手段に対して往復移動可能な包装材引出し手段を設け、かつ、この包装材引出し手段にて引き出されたフィルム包装材で物品を包装する一つの包装手段を前記フィルム包装材の引出し位置の下方に配設した構成の包装装置が知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来の包装装置では、一つの包装手段が一つの包装材保持手段からのフィルム包装材で、被包装対象物である物品を包装するので、作業効率が悪く、また、作業効率の向上のためにこの包装装置を複数台設置するのでは、コストがかかる問題を有している。

本発明は、このような点に鑑みなされたもので、作業効率を向上でき、コスト削減を図ることができる包装装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
求項記載の包装装置は、互いに離間対向して配設され、フィルム包装材を保持する対をなす包装材保持手段と、この対をなす包装材保持手段間に往復移動可能に配設され、前記各包装材保持手段に対する往復移動によりこの各包装材保持手段からフィルム包装材を引き出す包装材引出し手段と、前記対をなす包装材保持手段に対応して前記フィルム包装材の引出し位置に対向して配設され、前記包装材引出し手段にて引き出されたフィルム包装材で物品を包装する対をなす包装手段と、駆動力を出力して前記包装材引出し手段を往復移動させる引出し用駆動部と、前記包装材引出し手段を前記引出し用駆動部からの駆動力で一方の包装材保持手段に対して往復移動させることにより各包装材保持手段間の中央位置より一方の包装材保持手段側の一方寄り基準位置から各包装材保持手段間の中央位置より他方の包装材保持手段側の他方寄り基準位置まで移動させてこの一方の包装材保持手段からフィルム包装材を引き出させた後、他方の包装材保持手段に対して往復移動させることにより前記他方寄り基準位置から前記一方寄り基準位置まで移動させてこの他方の包装材保持手段からフィルム包装材を引き出させる制御手段とを具備したものである。

以下、本発明の包装装置の一実施の形態の構成を図面を参照して説明する。

前記包装材引出し手段6は、前記各包装材保持手段5a,5b間の中央位置より一方の包装材保持手段5a側の一方寄り基準位置Xおよび他方の包装材保持手段5b側の他方寄り基準位置Yを基準位置として、前記各包装材保持手段5a,5bに対して往復移動することによって、この各包装材保持手段5a,5bからフィルム包装材Fを引き出すものである。なお、例えば、図2で明らかなように、この包装材引出し手段6が一方寄り基準位置Xに位置した状態では、この包装材引出し手段6は前記一方の包装手段10a 側の物品供給口11の近傍位置に位置し、一方の包装材保持手段5a側の引出し位置の上方に位置している。

また、この引出し可動体26の両端部には無端体連結部35が形成され、この各無端体連結部35がチェーン等の無端体36にそれぞれ連結固定されている。そして、この両無端体36は、原動回転体37と複数の従動回転体38,39とに掛け渡され、この原動回転体37がモータ等の引出し用駆動部40からの駆動力を受けて回転駆動するとこの両無端体36が所定方向に向って走行し、前記引出し可動体26が移動し、前記挟持体27が前記各包装材保持手段5a,5bからフィルム包装材Fを挟持しながら引き出す。

前記包装材切断手段7a,7bは、ともに前記包装材引出し手段6にて引き出されたフィルム包装材Fを所定位置で切断するもので、細長形状の取付けフレーム41を有し、この取付けフレーム41は前記装置本体1の前後の側面部1a間に橋架され、前記装置本体1の左右方向への移動により位置調節可能となっている。

この一方の引出し長さ検知センサ51a は、前記装置本体1の前側の側面部1aに固定されたセンサ取付け部材52の先端部に取り付けられ、この一方の引出し長さ検知センサ51a が前記一方の包装材保持手段5aから引き出されたフィルム包装材Fの被検知部F1 を検知し、後述の制御手段110 に電気信号を出力する。また、他方の引出し長さ検知センサ51b は、前記装置本体1の後側の側面部1aに固定されたセンサ取付け部材52の先端部に取り付けられ、この他方の引出し長さ検知センサ51b が前記他方の包装材保持手段5bから引き出されたフィルム包装材Fの被検知部F1を検知し、同様に後述の制御手段110 に電気信号を出力する。
