Claims (4)
- 溶解室に接続する煙道を溶解材料の投入路として用いるタワー式溶解炉に投入される1個当り数百kgの重量を有するいわゆるジャンボ隗であって、不純物元素の化合物が少ない第1合金層と前記化合物を多く含む第2合金層とを交互に積層してなり、前記第1合金層および前記第2合金層が同じ成分系のアルミニウム合金からなり、不純物元素の化合物が主にFe−Al化合物であり、前記第2合金層の一層当りの厚さをymm、該第2合金層中におけるFe−Al化合物の面積率をx%としたとき、前記x、yが下記式を満足することを特徴とする溶解用インゴット。
0.12x+y≧12.7(ただし、x≧14、y≧0.3) - 請求項1記載のインゴットを溶解材料とする溶解方法であって、前記インゴットをタワー式溶解炉内に投入した際の落下の衝撃で、該インゴットを破壊させることを特徴とする溶解方法。
- 溶解炉内へ投入する前に、インゴットを予熱することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の溶解方法。
- 請求項2または3に記載の溶解方法で得られた溶湯を鋳込んでなる合金鋳物であって、塊状をなすFe−Al化合物が面積率で3%以上存在して基地中に分散していることを特徴とする合金鋳物。
