Claims (9)
- 前面基板と、
前記前面基板に対向すべく配された背面基板と、
前記前面基板と背面基板との間に配され、前記前面基板及び背面基板と共に放電セルを限定し、誘電体からなる隔壁と、
前記隔壁内に配され、前記放電セル内で互いに放電を起こす前方放電電極及び後方放電電極と、
前記放電セルに対向する前記前面基板上に形成された複数の第1溝内に配される蛍光体層と、
前記放電セル内にある放電ガスと、
前記各第1溝は、前記各放電セルに対応するように形成され、
前記隔壁と前記前面基板との間に配され、隣り合う前記放電セルの間に介在し、かつ前記放電セルのそれぞれを取り囲む形で形成されるブラックマトリックス層をさらに備え、
前記ブラックマトリックス層は、前記隔壁に対向する前面基板上に形成された第2溝内に配されることを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイパネル。 - 前記第1溝は、エッチングによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第2溝の深さが前記第1溝の深さより所定深さ(H)ほどさらに深く形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第2溝は、エッチングによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第1溝と第2溝は、一つの溝であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記前方放電電極は、一方向に配された放電セルを取り囲みつつ延び、
前記後方放電電極は、前記前方放電電極の延長方向と交差する方向に配された放電セルを取り囲みつつ延びることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。 - 前記前方放電電極と前記後方放電電極は、一方向に配された放電セルを取り囲みつつ、相互平行に延び、
前記前方放電電極及び後方放電電極の延長方向と交差するように延びるアドレス電極をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。 - 前記アドレス電極は、前記背面基板上に配されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記アドレス電極を覆う誘電体層をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
