Description
Claims (11)
- データチャネル上でデータを通信する通信局による通信を容易にする方法であって、
データチャネルに対応する主パイロット信号を送信し、
データチャネル上で通信されるデータが予め決定された閾データ速度を超えるときを検出し、
データチャネル上で通信されるデータが前記予め決定された閾データ速度を超えたことに応答して全パイロット電力を増加させる補助パイロット信号を生成する動作を具備する方法。 - データチャネル上で通信されるデータが前記閾データ速度未満になったことに応答して前記補助パイロット信号を停止する動作をさらに具備する請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記通信局は無線通信システムにおいて動作可能な移動局を具備し、
前記補助パイロット信号はデータチャネル上のデータの通信と同時に生成される請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記通信局は無線通信システムにおいて動作可能な移動局を具備し、移動局によって通信されるデータは無線通信システムにおいて定義された逆リンクデータチャネル上で通信され、
前記無線通信システムは逆リンクパイロットチャネルを定義し、前記補助パイロット信号は前記生成の動作中に生成されるとき、該逆リンクパイロットチャネル上で生成される請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記無線通信システムは第1の逆リンクパイロットチャネルと第2の逆リンクパイロットチャネルを定義し、該第2の逆リンクパイロットチャネルは第1の逆リンクパイロットチャネルに対して補助的なものであり、
前記補助パイロット信号は、前記生成の動作中に生成されるとき、第2の逆リンクパイロットチャネル上で生成される請求項4記載の方法。 - 前記通信局は通信局の動作中に基本信号を送信し、前記パイロット信号は、前記生成の動作中に生成されるとき、該基本信号に対して補助的なものである請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記補助パイロット信号は、前記生成の動作中に生成されるとき、前記検出の動作中においてデータチャネル上で通信されるデータが前記閾データ速度を超えることの検出に続く選択された期間において生成される請求項1記載の方法。
- 無線通信システムにおいて動作可能な移動局が逆リンクデータチャネル上で無線通信システムのネットワーク部とデータを通信するための装置であって、
前記逆データリンクチャネルに対応する第1のパイロット信号を補助する追加電力を提供する第2のパイロット信号を選択的に生成するパイロット信号生成器であって、該第2のパイロット信号は逆リンクデータチャネル上で通信されるデータのデータ速度が選択された閾値を超えることに応答して該パイロット信号生成器によって生成されるパイロット信号生成器を具備する装置。 - 前記パイロット信号生成器はさらに、
1)第1の期間において、前記第1および第2のパイロット信号を維持し、
2)第1の期間に続く第2の期間において、前記第2のパイロット信号を除去し第2のパイロット信号の除去により失なわれた電力を補うべく前記第1のパイロット信号の電力レベルを増加する、
ように構成される請求項8記載の装置。 - 前記パイロット信号生成器は、前記逆リンクデータチャネルのデータ伝送速度の変化に対応して前記第1および第2のパイロット信号における全パイロット信号電力レベルを動的に調節するように構成される請求項8記載の装置。
- コンピュータに請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の方法を実現させるプログラム。
