Description
代表的に前記バッテリは電解質で分離される2つの電極を備え、少なくとも片方の電極でアンテナが形成される。
無線周波数識別ラベルに電力を供給する無線周波数識別ラベル電力供給方法は、基板上に設けた無線周波数識別チップ、及び一部がこの無線周波数識別チップ用のアンテナを形成する薄膜バッテリを備える無線周波数識別ラベルを用意する。そして前記無線周波数識別ラベルを無線周波数識別リーダにより形成される無線周波数識別電磁界に配置する。無線周波数識別電磁界から利用できる電力が前記バッテリから利用できる電力より大きい限り、無線周波数識別電磁界は無線周波数識別チップに電力を供給する。一方、無線周波数識別電磁界から利用できる電力が前記バッテリから利用できる電力より小さい限り、前記バッテリが前記無線周波数識別チップに電力を供給する。
本発明の目的、利点、及び応用は以下の実施形態の説明から明らかになる。

Claims (9)
- 基板上に設けられた無線周波数識別チップと、
前記無線周波数識別チップに接続され、前記基板上に設けられ、少なくとも一部は前記無線周波数識別チップ用のアンテナを形成し、電解質により分離される2つの電極を含み、少なくとも1つの当該電極により前記アンテナが形成されている、バッテリと、を備え、
無線周波数識別電磁界から利用できる電力が前記バッテリから利用できる電力より実質的に大きい限り、前記無線周波数識別電磁界が無線周波数識別チップに電力を供給し、前記無線周波数識別電磁界から利用できる電力が前記バッテリから利用できる電力より実質的に小さい限り、前記バッテリが前記無線周波数識別チップに電力を供給することを特徴とする、能動型無線周波数識別ラベル。 - 前記アンテナはマイクロ波周波数で動作するのに適したダイポールアンテナであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のラベル。
- 前記アンテナは8MHzまたは13.56MHzで動作することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のラベル。
- 前記バッテリは薄膜バッテリであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のラベル。
- 前記薄膜バッテリはリチウムイオンバッテリであることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のラベル。
- 前記アンテナ及び前記バッテリは前記基板上の実質的に同一場所を配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のラベル。
- 前記基板は比較的柔軟性があることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のラベル。
- 基板上に設けた無線周波数識別チップ、及び一部が当該無線周波数識別チップ用のアンテナを形成し、電解質により分離される2つの電極を含み、少なくとも1つの当該電極により前記アンテナが形成されている薄膜バッテリを含む無線周波数識別ラベルを与える段階と、
前記無線周波数識別ラベルを無線周波数識別リーダにより形成される無線周波数識別電磁界に配置する段階と、を含み、
前記無線周波数識別電磁界から利用できる電力が前記バッテリから利用できる電力より大きい限り、前記無線周波数識別電磁界が無線周波数識別チップに電力を供給し、前記無線周波数識別電磁界から利用できる電力が前記バッテリから利用できる電力より小さい限り、前記バッテリが前記無線周波数識別チップに電力を供給し、前記無線周波数識別電磁界から利用できる電力が前記バッテリから利用できる電力より大きい限り、前記バッテリを充電することを特徴とする、
無線周波数識別ラベル電力供給方法。 - 前記無線周波数識別電磁界から利用できる電力が前記バッテリから利用できる電力より大きい限り、前記バッテリは充電されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のラベル。
