Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a tray that is brought into a furnace together with a work (untreated material) in various heat treatments such as carburizing, carbonitriding, quenching, and solution treatment, and a basket for holding a plurality of workpieces on the tray. In particular, it relates to heat treatment jigs such as struts, collars, partition plates, work receiving bars, etc., especially heat treatment jigs that are used in environments where there is almost no oxygen, such as in reducing or neutral atmospheres or in vacuum. Is.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, in carburizing treatment of gears, gear shafts, camshafts, etc., these workpieces are placed on the tray, and are carried into the heating chamber of the processing furnace, moved from the heating chamber to the quenching chamber, and further quenched. Rapid cooling into an indoor oil tank is performed.
[0003]
Also, at this time, there is no possibility that unevenness of temperature or carburized layer formation occurs when a plurality of workpieces fall or move in the furnace and the workpieces overlap each other or come into contact with the tray. In addition, each work is set at a predetermined interval on the tray by jigs having various structures and shapes corresponding to the work shape, such as a basket, a partition plate, and a bar.
[0004]
As a material for such a carburizing jig, stainless steel (mainly SUS310S or SUS304 may be used in some cases) or heat-resistant cast steel (SCH13, SCH15) has been used in consideration of heat resistance. .
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in such a carburizing jig, since it is heated in a carburizing atmosphere at 900 to 950 ° C. together with the workpiece and then rapidly cooled in oil, stainless steel or heat-resistant cast steel is used as described above. Even if it is manufactured, it is repeatedly exposed to such a carburizing atmosphere and repeatedly subjected to heating-quenching thermal stress, and it becomes carburized and becomes brittle, and thermal deformation (creep) progresses, Since cracking may occur due to thermal shock, it has been one of the causes of cost increase in combination with short service life and high jig material costs. In addition, in order to ensure durability, it is necessary to increase the thickness of the jig. As a result, the weight of the jig increases, and the workability during carrying and setting of workpieces, and the thermal efficiency during heating deteriorate. There was a problem.
[0006]
Furthermore, when using a carburizing jig as described above, the deformation of the jig is significant, so a dedicated machine such as a work robot should be used when setting the workpiece and taking out the workpiece after processing. However, there is a problem that drastic rationalization is not possible, such as unmanned operation and labor saving, and solving such a problem has been a problem in the carburizing treatment as described above.
[0007]
On the other hand, for example, the heat treatment where the quenching temperature becomes higher (1200 to 1300 ° C.), such as vacuum quenching of high-speed tool steel, is made of a superalloy material such as Inconel or a refractory metal material such as Mo. Heat treatment jigs were used, but even with such high temperature treatment jigs, in addition to the higher material costs, the above-mentioned problems due to thermal deformation cannot be solved. However, it basically had the same problems as the carburizing jig.
[0008]
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above-mentioned problems in conventional jigs for heat treatment including a carburizing jig, and is not affected by carburizing or nitriding, has excellent high-temperature strength, and is quick. It has excellent durability to withstand thermal shock during heating and quenching, does not thermally deform, and is automated by applying robots etc. for workpiece setting and removal after processing, and also reduces heat capacity based on weight reduction Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a heat treatment jig that can achieve cost savings through labor saving and energy saving.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The jig for heat treatment according to the present invention is used for carburizing treatment with a hydrocarbon gas or carbonitriding treatment with a hydrocarbon gas and an ammonia gas, and is formed from a C / C composite and mounted with a workpiece. is transferred to the heating chamber of the processing furnace at location state, heated together with the workpiece in a non-oxidizing atmosphere or in a vacuum, it has an oil-cooled Ru configuration is characterized by, the aforementioned such a structure in the heat treatment jig It is a means for solving the conventional problems.
[0012]
[Effects of the Invention]
C / C composite is a composite of carbon fiber and carbon matrix as a reinforcing material,
(1) Compared to metal materials, there is no reduction in strength even at high temperatures, allowing for weight reduction
(2) Excellent thermal shock resistance and can withstand rapid heating and cooling
(3) Fracture toughness value is high, and it is hard to break even if handled roughly
(4) Chemically extremely stable except for oxidation
(5) Excellent characteristics such as low thermal expansion coefficient and high reliability of dimensional accuracy against temperature changes.
[0013]
Therefore, in the heat treatment jig according to the present invention formed using the C / C composite material, even when applied to the carburizing treatment as described above, the jig becomes brittle, thermally deformed, or quenched by carburizing. C that is not cracked due to thermal shock at the time, and that the carburizing gas contains almost no oxidizing gas (O 2 , H 2 0, CO 2, etc.) and is therefore oxidized at a high temperature of 500 ° C. or higher. The only drawbacks of the / C composite are not manifested, and the service life is extended, and the use of robots and special-purpose machines leads to energy savings by reducing labor and weight.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The jig for heat treatment according to the present invention is formed from a C / C composite as described above, and is used for carburizing treatment with hydrocarbon gas, carbonitriding treatment with hydrocarbon gas and ammonia gas , and subsequent quenching treatment. After being transferred into the process with the work placed, it is heated together with the work in a non-oxidizing atmosphere or in a vacuum, and after the processing of the work is finished, it is oil-cooled with the work. .
[0015]
Also, among conventional carburizing and carbonitriding processes, carburizing and carbonitriding processes use natural gas, propane gas or other modified gas, or organic solvent pyrolysis gas (organic solvent dripping type) as carburizing gas. It is done. However, since a small amount of CO 2 and H 2 O are mixed in these gases, when the jig for heat treatment made of C / C composite according to the present invention is used for such gas carburizing or gas carbonitriding, Some oxidative wear on the jig is inevitable.
[0016]
On the other hand, carburizing or carbonitriding treatment method in which a workpiece is heated in a nitrogen atmosphere (non-oxidizing atmosphere) or in a vacuum and then a hydrocarbon-based gas, or a hydrocarbon-based gas and an ammonia-based gas are fed into the furnace. Since no oxidizing gas as described above is used, and it is not generated during processing, the C / C composite heat treatment jig according to the present invention is used for such carburizing or carburizing. When applied to the nitriding treatment, the oxidation consumption of the jig is completely prevented. In such a carburizing process or carbonitriding process, the hydrocarbon gas supplied as a carbon source for carburizing in the furnace is, for example, a saturated hydrocarbon gas such as methane, propane or butane, or acetylene or ethylene. The unsaturated hydrocarbon gas can be used.
[0017]
The C / C composite used in the heat treatment jig according to the present invention has been used mainly in the aviation, space, defense industry and the like because of its high material cost. A rapid cycle of rapid development, increasing demand due to lower costs, and further reducing costs due to mass production effects based on increased demand, is currently about 1.5 to 2 times that of jigs made of stainless steel or heat-resistant cast steel C / C composite jigs can be manufactured at low cost.
[0018]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described more specifically based on examples.
[0019]
First, a heat treatment jig 1 made of C / C composite having a shape as shown in FIG. 1 (external dimensions: 640 mmW × 640 mmL × 230 mmH, weight: about 5.7 kg, heat capacity: about 4.3 kJ / ° C.) A gear shaft (head gear diameter: about 70 mm, shaft portion diameter: about 25 mm, length: about 200 mm) made of chromium molybdenum steel SCM415 is prepared in the jig 1, and the shaft portion is attached to the jig 1. It set in the state penetrated in the provided mesh (48x48 mm, 11x11 pieces). At this time, a total of 60 gear shafts were set in a state in which adjacent meshes were opened so that the gear shafts to be processed did not contact each other. Thus, the jigs 1 each set with 60 gear shafts were stacked in three stages and charged into the carburizing
[0020]
On the other hand, the same type of gear shaft is similarly set in a jig (weight: about 26.9 kg, heat capacity: 13.5 kJ / ° C) having the same size and structure and made of stainless steel SUS310S. Together with the jig, the carburizing

After that, after disassembling each jig and taking out the carburized and quenched gear shaft, the same type of gear shaft is again set in these jigs in the same manner, and the same carburizing process is repeated. A comparative study was conducted on the service life of composite jigs and stainless steel jigs.
[0026]
As a result, in the case of a stainless steel jig, the deformation of the jig gradually progressed, and the jig was cracked after approximately 300 times of carburizing treatment, so that it could not be used.
[0027]
In contrast, C / C composite jigs are hardly deformed or cracked even when the process is repeated, and can be used without any problems even if the process is repeated at least 600 times. It was confirmed that there was.
[0028]
【The invention's effect】
Heat treatment jig according to the present invention, since those formed from C / C composite, excellent high-temperature strength, unless heated to 500 ° C. or higher in an oxidizing atmosphere, is chemically very stable, hydrocarbon It is applied to carburizing treatment using a gas and carbonitriding treatment using a hydrocarbon gas and an ammonia gas, and when it is heated with a workpiece and then cooled with oil , thermal deformation, embrittlement due to carburizing and nitriding, Because there is no cracking due to thermal shock, the service life is greatly improved. By using a robot or special machine, workpiece setting and workpiece removal after processing can be automated, saving labor. Combined with energy saving and energy saving, the heat treatment cost can be drastically reduced.
