n=4mのときは、
n=4m+2のときは、
図2は図1に示した転位セグメントの断面図であり、(a)及び(b)はA−A’部分、(c)はB−B’部分、(d)C−C’部分をそれぞれ表す。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the improvement of dislocation segments and superconducting application devices in which a plurality of dislocation strands of tape-like strands are twisted, and more specifically, in the process of winding the dislocation segments around a cylindrical body when manufacturing a coil or the like. The present invention relates to a dislocation segment and a superconducting application device capable of suppressing a maximum limit value of strain due to a gap between strands (slack strain) smaller than a bending strain at the time of coil winding.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a method to suppress the special drift that is caused by applying an alternating current to a superconducting cable, a dislocation twisted wire structure called a dislocation superconducting tape unit (hereinafter referred to as a dislocation) is formed by twisting a plurality of strands of tape-like superconductors. (Referred to as Patent Document 1).

However, for example, Bi-based superconducting wires are often used as the material of the wires in superconducting wires used for superconducting cables and the like. However, since this Bi wire has a low current density, silver is used for the sheath material. As a result, the strength is low. In addition, at liquid nitrogen temperature, there was also a tendency for the specification to decrease in a magnetic field.
[0006]
Therefore, dislocation segments are produced using Y-based superconducting wires instead of Bi-based superconducting wires, coils are produced using these dislocation segments, and use in superconducting equipment such as superconducting magnets that can be used at liquid nitrogen temperatures has been studied. ing.
[0007]
However, currently produced Y-based wire rods have a wire width of about 10 mm and a thickness of about 0.1 mm. Therefore, it is necessary to set the dislocation transition length, that is, the length P of the dislocation portion 103 to be longer according to the width of the

However, when the dislocation transition length exceeds 250 mm, the adjacent tape-
[0009]
As a countermeasure against this problem, for example, a dislocation segment having a bundling portion retained by a shape retaining tape can be cited. FIG. 10 shows an example in which one bundling portion is provided in the non-dislocation transition portion.
[0010]
FIG. 10A is a perspective view of the
[0011]
As shown in FIG. 10, by providing dislocation transition portions and non-dislocation transition portions, it is possible to considerably prevent the shape of the dislocation segment from being broken. However, it has been found that when the dislocation segment is wound around a cylindrical drum, particularly when the drum diameter is small, the problem of the shape change of the dislocation segment becomes obvious again.
[0012]
As shown in FIG. 11, when a
[0013]
In other words, when the dislocation segment is wound around a drum or coiled, the strand positioned above the neutral axis of the dislocation segment is wound with a large diameter, whereas the strand positioned below is wound with a small diameter. As a result, deviation occurs between the strands in the dislocation segment. This deviation appears as slack of dislocation segments when drum winding or coil winding is performed.
[0014]
Therefore, when the behavior of the dislocation twisted wire when the dislocation twisted wire is wound around a drum having a certain bending diameter, that is, the above-described deviation and loosening, was found, the result of FIG. 11 was obtained.
[0015]
As shown in FIG. 11, since the
[0016]
In this model, it is considered that the number of strands stacked in the process of dislocation is the maximum of four layers. In this case, the neutral axis α of the dislocation transition portion at the time of bending load exists between the second and third strands, and the neutral axis α per one dislocation transition portion and the uppermost strand The deviation is represented by (3tP) / (2r). When the

[0018]
[Table 1]
[0019]
In Table 1, a negative value indicates a deviation in the winding direction, and a positive value indicates a deviation in the feeding direction. When attention is paid to a single strand that constitutes a six-strand dislocation segment, the strand returns to the initial position after passing through the dislocation transition portion six times. Now, taking six strands at positions A, B, C, D, E, and F as shown in FIG. 13 as an example, each strand passes through six rotation positions. Accordingly, it has become clear that this is repeated through the positions of A, B, C, D, E, and F sequentially.
[0020]
Therefore, the distortion generated in the dislocation transition portion becomes significantly larger as the length of the dislocation transition portion becomes longer. In addition, as the bending radius of the drum becomes smaller, the distortion generated in the dislocation transition portion becomes significantly larger.
[0021]
In recent years, there are an increasing number of cases in which a highly rigid dislocation twisted wire composed of a highly rigid strand such as a superconducting material is wound around a drum having a small bending radius. Since such a high-rigidity dislocation stranded wire needs to set the length of the dislocation portion to be long, if it is wound around a drum having a small bending radius, the strain generated in the dislocation portion will be further increased.
[0022]
In particular, when a plurality of wires constituting a dislocation stranded wire are bundled in a spiral shape with an insulating tape such as polyimide tape to improve the pressure resistance characteristics of the dislocation portion, the wire material rises at the dislocation portion or bends in an unintended direction. As a result, it is not only impossible to maintain the shape, but also there is a concern about the deterioration of the characteristics of the dislocation stranded wire, such as an increase in resistance and conduction failure.
[0023]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and it is possible to suppress a decrease in superconducting characteristics due to the influence of a slack caused by a gap between tape wires generated in a coil winding process. The purpose is to provide superconducting equipment.
[0024]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The dislocation segment according to the present invention is
In dislocation segments that are formed by twisting dislocation strands of tape-shaped strands, and each dislocation transition part is retained at multiple locations by a shape-retaining tape that binds this,
The radius from the center of the cylindrical body used to wind the dislocation segment to the neutral axis of the dislocation segment is r, the interval at which the shape-retaining tape is provided is l, the thickness of the tape-shaped strand is t, and the dislocation When the number of twisted strands is defined as n, the length of the dislocation transition portion is defined as L, and a positive integer is defined as m,
When n = 4m
The interval l is (2π 2 n 2 trL) 1/3 That's it,
When n = 4m + 2,
The interval l is {2π 2 (N 2 +4) trL} 1/3 That's it,
It is characterized by that.
[0025]
In the present specification, the “dislocation transition portion” means a portion where there is a strand that extends in a non-parallel direction with respect to the longitudinal direction of the dislocation segment and is displaced in position.
[0026]
According to such a configuration, the interval l between the shape-retaining tapes for binding the dislocation crossing portions is expressed by a specific relational expression, that is, n is 4 m according to the number n of strands twisted by dislocations. Is the interval l ≧ (2π 2 n 2 trL) 1/3 When n is expressed by (4m + 2), the interval l ≧ {2π 2 (N 2 +4) trL} 1/3 Thus, it is possible to suppress the deterioration of the superconducting characteristics due to the influence of the slack caused by the deviation between the tape wires generated in the coil winding process. Here, the deterioration of the superconducting characteristics means reduction of alternating current loss when alternating current is applied and occurrence of drift.
[0027]
In the present invention, as the element wire, a metal substrate provided with a superconducting layer can be used.
In the dislocation superconducting tape unit according to the present invention, since the shape-retaining tape is provided at the interval l shown by the relational expression described above, it is necessary to dare to select a material having an appropriate flexibility for the base material as in the past. Will disappear. Therefore, dislocation twisting is difficult, but it is possible to use a metal substrate having high strength and high rigidity. In particular, it is more preferable to use, for example, stainless steel or hastelloy alloy as the metal base material because the tensile strength and rigidity can be remarkably enhanced.
[0028]
In addition, as the superconducting layer according to the present invention, a layer made of an oxide superconductor can be used.
In the dislocation superconducting tape unit according to the present invention, since the metal substrate can be used, it is easy to form a high-performance oxide superconductor layer on the surface of the metal substrate using vapor deposition technology. is there.
[0029]
The superconducting application device according to the present invention is configured using the dislocation segment of the present invention described above. Specific examples of the superconducting application device include a superconducting cable, a superconducting transformer, a superconducting magnet, a superconducting current limiter, and the like.
[0030]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Before describing in detail the setting conditions of the interval l for providing the shape-retaining tape in the dislocation segment according to the present invention, an overall configuration of one embodiment of the dislocation segment will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.

[Bending strain applied to tape wire]
When winding the tape-shaped wire (hereinafter abbreviated as tape wire) according to the present invention (winding step) or winding the coil (coil winding step), the tape wire in the dislocation segment, Assuming a case where a slack of a certain height y occurs, the results of studying bending strain applied to the tape wire will be described. In this study, we assumed that the shape of slack can be approximated by trigonometric functions.
[0040]
When the interval of the shape-retaining tape for bundling the dislocation segments is 1 and the peak value of the lifted height is h, the height y at the position x is expressed by the equation (1) where 0 is one end position of the shape-retaining tape. Is done.

The curvature radius R in the curve represented by the above formula (1) is expressed by the formula (2).

[0044]
Here, assuming that the thickness of the strand is t, the bending strain applied to the tape wire is expressed by equation (3).

Therefore, the distortion rises to the maximum near the center, and the value is expressed by equation (4).

[Expression 4]
[0048]
In order to verify this model, a strain gauge was attached to the top of the slack, and the height of the tape (slack height: y) and the amount of strain applied to the tape (ε) were measured.
The sample used for the test is a segment of SUS tape base material, size 0.2 mm × 2.0 mm,
[0049]
FIG. 3 is a graph showing the relationship between the raised height (slack height: y) of the tape wire and the applied strain amount (ε). The straight line shown in FIG. 3 shows the result calculated based on the model described above. Plots (■ marks, ♦ marks) in FIG. 3 show the results of actual measurement with the above samples.
[0050]
As is clear from FIG. 3, each plot representing the actual measurement value is at a position along the straight line indicating the calculation result of the model or the vicinity thereof, and thus it is understood that the calculation and the actual measurement are in good agreement. From this result, it can be determined that the above model, which is assumed to approximate the shape of the raised portion as a trigonometric function, is an effective means for analyzing the raised portion.
[0051]
[Relationship between tape line deviation and lifting height during bending load]
In the following, the relationship between the tape line displacement and the slack height is described in order to obtain the segment slack height from the tape wire displacement within the segment under bending load.
[0052]
Consider one transition pitch of dislocation transition length L. Of the strands (wires) arranged for this one-way pitch, the difference between the one that is shifted forward and the one that is shifted backward is defined as δ.
[0053]
It was assumed that the difference δ is concentrated during the interval l where the shape-retaining tape is provided, thereby causing the tape line to slack. In this case, the actual length of the tape line existing between the shape-retaining tapes that serves to suppress the tape line is the sum of l and δ, and can be expressed as (l + δ).
[0054]
On the other hand, when the slack height is h and the rail shape of the raised portion is approximated as a trigonometric function, the rail length of the raised portion can be expressed by equation (5).
[0055]
[Equation 5]
[0056]
Here, when hπ / l << 1, the above equation (5) is transformed into the following equation (6).
[0057]
[Formula 6]
[0058]
Therefore, (l + δ) can be expressed by equation (7).

[Expression 7]
[0060]
Here, l can be replaced by the formula (8).
[0061]
[Equation 8]
[0062]
Therefore, the difference δ can be expressed by equation (9).

[Equation 9]
[0064]
By changing the above equation (9), the peak value h of the lifting height becomes the equation (10).

The tape deviation in the segment that occurs during the bending of the dislocation segment, that is, when the transition pitch length of one transition pitch L is considered as described above, among the strands (wires) arranged in this transition pitch length, The difference δ between the most misaligned and most misaligned will be described.
[0069]
When the strands (wires) experience only the upper part and accumulate, the deviation of the segment tends to be shifted most backward, and when only the lower part is experienced, it tends to shift most forward. Therefore, the difference between these two strands (wires) produces the maximum difference δ.
[0070]
Therefore, the radius of curvature with respect to the neutral axis of the segment is r, the thickness of the tape wire is t, the dislocation transition length is L, the number of twisted segments is only an odd number, the number of twisted segments is n, and a positive integer is If m,
The maximum deviation between tape lines, that is, the maximum value of the difference δ is expressed by equation (12) when n = 4 m.
[0071]
[Expression 12]
[0072]
When n = 4m + 2, the maximum value of the difference δ is expressed by equation (13).
[0073]
[Formula 13]
[0074]
Therefore, the maximum limit value of the slack distortion is obtained by substituting the maximum deviation between the tape lines in the segment, that is, the maximum value of the difference δ, into the relational expression of the slack distortion expressed by the equation (11). When n = 4 m, it is expressed by equation (14).
[0075]
[Expression 14]
[0076]
When n = 4m + 2, the maximum limit value of the slack distortion is expressed by the equation (15).
[0077]
[Expression 15]
[0078]
The maximum value of these slack distortions is a value that occurs only once within one pitch of one rotation of the tape wire, and is a value calculated on the assumption that the tape wire is concentrated between one suppression tape. It is considered that the estimate is larger than the actual case.
[0079]
[Interval of shape retention tape for dislocation segments in coil winding]
When the radius to the segment neutral axis is r, the coil (radius of the winding drum) is r ′, and the thickness of the tape wire is t, the amount of distortion due to the bending radius r is strictly calculated for the tape wire in contact with the winding drum. (16)
[0080]
[Expression 16]
[0081]
Here, if it is assumed that the thickness t of the tape wire is sufficiently smaller than the bending radius, that is, the coil (winding drum radius) r ′, the relationship 3t << 2r is established. It is written with.
[0082]
[Expression 17]
[0083]
When a segment is wound around a coil, if the bending radius r is made as small as possible in order to make it compact, it is necessary to consider not only the bending strain at the time of coil winding but also the above-described slack strain.
[0084]
Ε is the maximum strain that can tolerate bending strain when winding the coil. coil Then, the maximum limit value ε of slack distortion obtained earlier max Is required to be smaller than the bending strain that occurs when winding, so ε max And ε coil The relationship expressed by the equation (18) needs to be established.
[0085]
[Formula 18]
[0086]
Accordingly, the interval l where the shape retaining tape is provided is the thickness of the superconducting tape (tape thickness) t, the radius of the cylindrical body around which the dislocation superconducting tape unit is wound (bending radius when winding the coil) r, the length of the dislocation transition portion ( If the dislocation transition length (L) and the number of strands twisted by dislocation (number of dislocation twist) n are used, when n = 4 m, it is necessary to satisfy the relationship expressed by the equation (19). Here, m is a positive integer.
[0087]
[Equation 19]
[0088]
Similarly, when n = 4 m, the interval l for providing the shape-retaining tape is required to satisfy the relationship expressed by the equation (20).
[0089]
[Expression 20]
[0090]
In other words, as shown in the above equation (19) or (20), by adjusting the interval of the shape-retaining tape or label, distortion caused by the deviation between the strands forming the tape wire in the coil winding process The decrease in superconducting characteristics can be suppressed by (slack strain).
[0091]

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a plurality of tape-like strands are twisted by dislocations, and each dislocation transition portion is retained at a plurality of positions by a shape-retaining tape that binds the dislocation transition portions. In the segment, the interval l between the shape-retaining tapes that bind each dislocation crossing portion is set so that a specific relational expression is established according to the number n of strands twisted by dislocations. It is possible to provide a dislocation segment that can suppress the deterioration of the superconducting characteristics due to the influence of the slack caused by the gap between the tape wires generated in step 1.
[0128]
Further, the dislocation segment having the above-described configuration contributes to the provision of various superconducting applications having excellent superconducting characteristics, that is, having excellent characteristics in which alternating current loss during AC current application is reduced and drift is suppressed.
