Description
詳しくは、新規な潤滑剤は、反復単量体単位がエチレンエーテルである種類のポリエーテルから本質的になる。本明細書中、ポリエチレンエーテルという名前は、重合体を記述するのに用いられている。分子量及び重合のための出発化合物により、ポリエチレンエーテルは、低い分子量を有するポリエチレングリコール(PEG)及び一層大きな分子量を有するポリエチレンオキシド(PEO)に分割することができる。新規な潤滑剤中のポリエチレンエーテルの含有量は、潤滑剤の10〜60重量%であり、残余はオリゴマーアミドである。低いラトラー値と組合せて大きな未焼成強度を得るためには、新規な潤滑剤のポリエチレンエーテル含有量は、少なくとも20%であり、最も好ましくは少なくとも30%であるべきである。ポリエチレンエーテルの量が60%より大きくなると、未焼成強度は、低下する。未焼成強度を考慮に入れると、30〜50%のPEOを含有し、残余がオリゴマーアミドである潤滑剤を用いて、最大の値が得られる。
この例は、本発明による潤滑剤組合せを用いることの重要性を実証し、潤滑剤組成物中に10%より少ないか又は60%より多い量のPEOを用いた場合には劣った結果が得られることを実証する。
この例は、屡々用いられるEBS(エチレンビスステアルアミド)とポリエチレンオキシドを混合した時に得られる効果を実証する。試験は例1と同じように、同じ粉末及び及び量の潤滑剤を用いて行なった。次の表3から、PEOをEBSと混合した時には、未焼成強度の改良は本質的に得られないことが分かる。
この例は、比較的低い密度を有する未焼成物体についても大きな未焼成強度値を得ることができ、即ち、粉末組成物は低い圧力で成形されたことを実証する。
次の混合物を調製した。
Claims (11)
- 10〜60重量%の、平均分子量が50,000〜400,000g/モルの範囲にあるポリエチレンエーテル及び残余のオリゴマーアミドから本質的になり、該オリゴマーアミドが、2,000〜20,000g/モルの重量平均分子量および120℃〜200℃の範囲の融点ピークを有する、粉末冶金組成物用の潤滑剤。
- ポリエチレンエーテル含有量が20〜50重量%である請求項1に記載の潤滑剤。
- 微粉砕粉末の形態をしている、請求項1又は2に記載の潤滑剤。
- 潤滑剤が、150μm未満の重量平均粒径を有する、請求項3に記載の潤滑剤。
- ポリエチレンエーテルが、50,000〜300,000g/モルの重量平均分子量を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤。
- 25〜350μmの範囲の重量平均粒径を有する、多量の鉄基粉末、及び
少量の、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤、
を含有する改良冶金粉末組成物。 - 潤滑剤含有量がせいぜい2重量%である、請求項6に記載の粉末組成物。
- 潤滑剤粉末が、組成物の0.2〜1.5重量%の濃度で与えられる、請求項7に記載の粉末組成物。
- 更に、結合剤、処理助剤、及び硬質相からなる群から選択された一種類以上の添加剤を含有する、請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の粉末組成物。
- 鉄基粉末が噴霧形成粉末からなる、請求項6〜9のいずれか1項に記載の粉末組成物。
- 大きな強度を有する未焼成生成物を製造する方法において、
(a) 鉄基粉末と、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤とを混合して組成物を得る、
(b) 前記組成物を周囲温度で成形する、
ことを行う、未焼成生成物製造方法。
