Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an article merging method, and more particularly, to an article merging method for merging articles joined to a merging line via a plurality of conveying lines without stopping at the unloading end of the conveying line.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a conventional technique related to a method for merging articles, one described in JP-A-10-59533 is known.
[0003]
Explaining the prior art described in the above publication, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-59533 discloses a plurality of transfer devices (first to fourth transfer conveyors) arranged in parallel, A merging device (merging conveyor) disposed so as to connect the unloading sides of the first to fourth transfer conveyors, and each of the first to fourth transfer conveyors to the merging conveyor for delivery to the delivery position. Means (stoppers) are provided, and a conveyance system is described in which loads at the respective delivery positions are simultaneously released to the junction conveyor by opening the respective stoppers.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above conventional techniques have the following problems.
[0005]
That is, in the transport system described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-59533, after the load to be merged from the first to fourth transfer conveyors to the merging conveyor is stopped by the stoppers at the delivery position, the respective stoppers are moved. Since it is opened and transported to the merging conveyor, when the merging load continues from only one transfer conveyor, the merging capability of the entire transport system is limited by the cutting ability of one stopper. The load cannot be merged at high speed.
Further, when the articles are individually merged from the carry-out end portion of the conveyance line at each time, the articles that are merged first and then merged after the articles being conveyed on the merge line have no contact with the articles. Therefore, the merging interval between articles is required by a distance obtained by multiplying the transfer time from the carry-out end portion to the merging line by the speed of the merging line. The faster the merging line, the larger the merging interval, making it difficult to increase the article conveying capability even if the speed of the merging line is increased.
[0006]
Therefore, the object of the present invention is to eliminate the need to provide a stopper at the unloading end of the transport line, and can be merged without stopping, and the merging interval can be narrowed to achieve high-speed merging. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for merging articles that can eliminate interference between a set of articles.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention includes a plurality of transfer lines and a merge line arranged so as to connect the carry-out end portions of the respective transfer lines, and the carry-out end portions are continuously arranged at a narrow interval along the merge line. The set of a plurality of articles on each conveyance line is not stopped at the carry-out end and substantially simultaneouslyArrive at the unloading end, jump out of it, and almost simultaneously on the merge lineSet the timing when each article is supplied to the conveyance line so that they are merged, and the articles of the previous set and the next set of articles that are merged substantially simultaneouslyIs the difference in time of arrival at the unloading end of the transfer lineMerge time intervalIsFrom the unloading end, the uppermost product on the merge line of the previous setJump outWhen adding the time until the most upstream article passes through the unloading end of the next downstream article to be merged after joining the merge line timeBetweenMore than a gapTo get closer to thisThe above object is achieved by providing a method for merging articles characterized in that a high merging ability is achieved by setting the timing at which each article is supplied to the transport line.
[0008]
In addition, it is preferable to set the timing at which the article is supplied to the conveyance line according to the movement distance or the movement time from the position where the article is supplied to the conveyance line to the carry-out end of the conveyance line.
[0009]
[Action]
In the present invention, the supply timing of the articles to the conveyance line is set so that the articles on the conveyance line are joined to the merge line without stopping. By this, it is possible to join to the joining line without stopping, and it is possible to perform high-speed joining because there is no need to wait for the joining timing with a stopper or the like at the carry-out end. Moreover, since the article is not stopped, the article moves to the joining line at the conveying speed of the conveying line, so that the moving speed is fast and the start-up time is unnecessary, and the transfer time can be shortened.
In addition, at the carry-out end portion of each transfer line, the simultaneous merging is performed almost in units. As a result, the article interval (merge interval) on the merge line of articles that are merged substantially simultaneously becomes substantially the same as the narrow gap at the carry-out end, and basically a distance that is obtained by multiplying the transfer time by the merge line speed is unnecessary. Therefore, it is possible to merge at a narrow interval. This merging interval has little to do with the feeding speed of the merging line / conveying line. It is possible to increase the speed of the merging line within the allowable range of falling and posture collapse due to slippage and inertia when landing on the merging line of articles. Therefore, the average interval between the articles on the merge line is close to the distance between the carry-out end portions, and can be greatly narrowed, so that a high merge capability can be obtained.
Further, in the present invention, the article on the uppermost stream side on the joining line of the previous set is joined to the joining line from the carry-out end to the joining time interval between the previous set of articles and the next set of articles that are joined at substantially the same time. More than the time interval including the time from the time when the product is merged at the transfer time to the time when the most upstream article passes through the unloading end of the next downstream product to be mergedClose to thisTherefore, the timing at which each article is supplied to the transport line is set. As a result, it waits without joining the time until each article of the previous group changes to the merge line and passes through the carry-out end of the next group of articles. All of the articles in the previous group can be merged in a state where there is no space from the front of the carry-out end of the next group of articles, and the articles in the previous group and the articles in the subsequent group do not contact and interfere with each other. Become.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Although the carry-out end portions of the carry-out line of the present invention are arranged at a narrow interval, the carry-out line is often adjacent to the width. The adjacent side may be arranged on the same side or the opposite side on the opposite side along the merge line, but the same side is preferable in consideration of the posture change on the merge line due to the length of the article. Arrangement distance of the unloading end so that the articles do not contact or interfere too closely on the merging line due to variations in the length of the articles conveyed on the conveying line and the timing of simultaneous merging of the articles. The feeding speed of the merge line is adjusted.
In addition, although the set of the present invention may be a single set of articles, it is efficient to be able to join together with as many articles as the number of conveyance lines as much as possible.
In the present invention, the merging interval of the substantially simultaneous merging (simultaneous merging) of the previous group and the subsequent group is expressed by a time interval, which is the conveyance distance interval or the merging line of articles on the conveying line. It can also be re-expressed with the distance of the above merging distance interval or other control amount. These are also included in the present invention.

Accordingly, when the joining interval S1 is set to 300 mm, the joining time of one set of articles W having the set number G2 to be joined next is 1.5 seconds instead of 1.2 seconds. In this case, it is preferable to provide oblique guides on both sides of the conveying direction of the conveying line 1 (or use a belt conveyor having a substantially U-shaped cross section).
