BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention generally relates to a slot machine installed in a game arcade or the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there is a slot machine that includes a rotating reel provided with a tape having a pattern printed on its outer peripheral surface, and a rotating means such as a pulse motor that rotates the rotating reel.
In such a conventional slot machine, when a user performs a game start operation (a lever for rotating a rotating reel is pushed after a medal is inserted), the rotating reel is rotated and a game win is selected. .
Subsequently, when the user performs a stop operation for stopping the rotating reels (a button for stopping each rotating reel is pressed), the rotating reels stop.
[0003]
At this time, in the slot machine, a predetermined combination such as when the combination of pictures determined by the stop of the rotating reel corresponds to a combination corresponding to the winning in the lottery at the time of the start operation or a predetermined combination, etc. When an event occurs, a series of processing is often performed in which a medal having a predetermined number of payouts is paid to the user according to the event.
As a method of notifying the user of such an event such as a medal payout, conventionally, the display of the image on the outer peripheral surface of the rotating reel is blinked by a lamp, or an effect using sound or the like from a speaker included in the slot machine itself is conventionally used. There was a technique such as notifying the user.
An example of such a slot machine is described in the following publication, for example.
[0004]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 61-151785
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, the pattern of a conventional slot machine is generally drawn on a single strip of tape (hereinafter referred to as “pattern tape”) provided for each rotating reel, and the combination and order of the patterns are also rotated. Many are defined for each reel.
That is, a strip-shaped picture tape on which a picture is drawn is attached so as to be wound around a rotating reel.
However, when such a picture tape is used, the following problems may occur if care is not taken in its handling.
For example, when the picture tape is manufactured, when the picture tape is affixed to the rotating reel, or during maintenance of the slot machine, a situation may occur in which part of the picture tape becomes dirty.
Even if such a picture tape stain occurs on a part of the picture tape, it is not preferable as a state of the slot machine providing the entertainment service, and the quality of the entertainment service provided by the slot machine is deteriorated. Cause it.
In addition, since the conventional slot machine has a structure in which the picture tape is attached so as to be wound around the rotating reel as described above, for example, the state in which the slot machine is operating (that is, the game is played by the user). In the state of being performed), the only technique for directing the picture tape is to illuminate the picture tape. Therefore, when a user plays a game on the same type of slot machine, the user can lose interest in playing the game on the slot machine because he / she sees the same design tape and sees the same production every time. There is sex.
[0006]
Therefore, as a countermeasure to be taken when such a situation occurs, conventionally, a dirty picture tape has been discarded, and there was no countermeasure method other than this disposal.
In addition, when the picture tape becomes dirty after the picture tape is attached to the rotary reel, it is necessary to peel off the dirty picture tape from the rotary reel and newly attach the picture tape to the rotary reel.
For this reason, in the manufacturing process of the slot machine, there is a possibility that it may be necessary to replace the picture tape as described above, so that there is a problem that work efficiency at the time of manufacturing the slot machine is lowered.
[0007]
Therefore, even if a part of the picture tape becomes dirty, it is not possible to dispose of the whole picture tape, or to perform a replacement work such as peeling off the picture tape attached to the rotating reel and applying a new one. This causes an increase in manufacturing cost and causes a reduction in manufacturing efficiency.
In addition, even when a part of the picture tape is dirty, discarding the entire strip of picture tape has a problem of increasing the amount of garbage, raising the awareness of the environment in recent years. In view of this, it can be said that it is desirable to reduce the amount of design tape to be discarded as much as possible.
In addition, when software such as a control program incorporated in the slot machine is replaced, it may be necessary to change the arrangement of the picture tapes provided on each rotating reel. Even in such a case, as described above, it is necessary to dispose of the picture tape and newly affix the picture tape to the rotating reel.
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and the object of the present invention is to manufacture and maintain a slot machine even when the pattern is soiled or the software is replaced as described above. At the same time, the burden on the cost can be reduced and the reduction in work efficiency can be suppressed.Furthermore, increase the enjoyment of playing games on slot machines for usersIs to provide a slot machine.

Therefore, it can be said that the amount of the tape or sheet material to be discarded is significantly reduced.
[0023]
In addition, the amount of tape or sheet material to be discarded is advantageous in terms of cost compared to the prior art as well as the amount of tape or sheet material to be discarded. Since it is possible to minimize the necessary amount, good effects can be expected from the environmental viewpoint.
