Description
図1及び図2は本発明の実施の形態の参考例で、熱電モジュールを排気マニホールドの外側に装着した例である。図1中、1はターボチャージャ2を備えたディーゼルエンジンであり、エアクリーナ3から導かれた吸気4は吸気管5を通してターボチャージャ2のコンプレッサ2aへ導入されて加圧され、加圧された吸気4はインタークーラ6からインテークマニホールド7を経てディーゼルエンジン1の各気筒に分配され、導入されるようになっている。
ディーゼルエンジン1の運転時に各気筒から排出された排気ガス9は排気マニホールド8を通ってターボチャージャ2のタービン2bへ導入されると共に、ディーゼルエンジン1冷却のために冷却水流路12に供給された少なくとも一部の冷却水13は、ケーシング15の冷却水流路14へ導入され、例えば、矢印方向へ流れた後図示していない径路を経て循環する。

Claims (2)
- シリンダヘッド内に設けた、内燃機関からの排ガスが流通する断面形状が上方へ向けて凸状の排気ポートと該排気ポートの上側に位置する冷却水路との間に、前記シリンダヘッド内に位置するよう、平板状の熱電モジュールを装着したことを特徴とする排熱回収装置。
- 熱電素子は、p型熱電素子とn型熱電素子とが電気的に直列に接続されたものである請求項1記載の排熱回収装置。
