他の実施形態において、図1および図9に示すように、本発明は、基端方向に延びる内側チューブ108を有するマニホールド106からなる符号100で示される医療装置搬送システムに関する。後退可能なシース114は、内側チューブ108の先端部の周囲に配置される。プルワイヤ116は、基端方向に後退可能なシース114からマニホールド106まで延びる。マニホールド106は、ラック158およびピニオン162を有する。ラック158は、基端方向に移動可能である。ピニオン162は、図10および図11において詳細に示されるように、ギア部170を有し、同ギア部は、その周囲に配置された歯状突起172およびプルワイヤを巻き取るためのスプールとして動作するシャフト部174を備える。ピニオン162は、任意でプルワイヤをスプール部174上に保持するために、拡大された端部176を備えてもよい。ラック158は、図12に示すように、ライン状に配置された複数の歯状突起178からなってもよい。ラック158が基端方向に移動するにつれて、ラック158はピニオン162と係合し、プルワイヤ116はピニオン162のスプール部174の周囲に巻き取られ、後退可能なシース114が後退する。

Claims (14)
- 基端部、先端部およびステント収容部を有する内側チューブ部材と、
基端部および先端部を有するステントと、同ステントは同内側チューブ部材のステント収容部の周囲に配置されることと、
同ステントの基端部もしくは先端部に近接する同内側チューブ部材の周囲に配置された形状記憶金属バンパーとを備え、同バンパーは、マルテンサイト相とオーステナイト相との間を変形可能であり、同マルテンサイト相においては第1の縮小した形状および同オーステナイト相においては第2の拡大した形状を有し、同第1の縮小した形状から同第2の拡大した形状に変形可能であり、同第1の縮小した形状にあるときは、同バンパーは同ステントの流路内に保持されて、同ステントが同バンパーの周囲を通過可能であり、同第2の拡大した形状にあるときは、同バンパーの外径が同ステントの内径を上回り、同バンパーの拡張部分の側面が同ステントの端面に当接することにより、同バンパーは同ステントの流路内へ進入することを阻止されて、同ステントはバンパーの周囲を通過不能であることとを特徴とするステント搬送システム。 - 前記バンパーは、前記ステントの基端部に近接する請求項1に記載のステント搬送システム。
- 前記バンパーは、同バンパーの温度を上昇させることによって、第1の縮小した形状から第2の拡大した形状に変形可能であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のステント搬送システム。
- 前記バンパーは、溝部分および溝のない部分を有するチューブである請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のステント搬送システム。
- 前記溝部分は、前記バンパーの拡張時に開くことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のステント搬送システム。
- 前記バンパーの拡張時に、前記溝部分は、前記溝のない部分に対してゼロでない角度で拡張することを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載のステント搬送システム。
- 前記ステントの周囲に配置された後退可能なシースをさらに有する請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のステント搬送システム。
- 前記ステントはニチノールから成形される請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のステント搬送システム。
- 形状記憶金属はニチノールである請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のステント搬送システム。
- 拡大した形状における前記バンパーは、前記内側チューブ部材から径方向外向きに前記ステントよりも長く延びる請求項1に記載のステント搬送システム。
- 基端部および先端部を有する内側チューブ部材と、
基端部および先端部を有する移植可能な医療装置と、同医療装置は同内側チューブ部材の一部の周囲に配置されることと、
同医療装置の基端部もしくは先端部近傍の同内側チューブ部材の周囲に配置される形状記憶金属バンパーとを備え、同バンパーは、マルテンサイト相とオーステナイト相との間を変形可能であり、同マルテンサイト相においては第1の縮小した形状および同オーステナイト相においては第2の拡大した形状を有し、温度変化に反応して同第1の縮小した形状から同第2の拡大した形状に変形可能であり、同第1の縮小した形状にあるときは、同バンパーは同医療装置の流路内に保持されて、同医療装置が同パンバーの周囲を通過可能であり、同第2の拡大した形状にあるときは、同バンパーの外径が同医療装置の内径を上回り、同バンパーの拡張部分の側面が同医療装置の端面に当接することにより、同バンパーは同医療装置の流路内へ進入することを阻止されて、同医療装置はバンパーの周囲を通過不能であることとを特徴とする体腔に移植可能な医療装置を搬送するための搬送システム。 - 前記バンパーは、前記医療装置の基端部に近接する請求項11に記載の搬送システム。
- 前記医療装置は、ステント、ステントグラフト、グラフトおよび大静脈フ ィルタからなる一群から選択される請求項11または12に記載の搬送システム。
- 基端部および先端部を有する内側チューブ部材と、
基端部および先端部を有する移植可能な医療装置と、同医療装置は同内側チューブ部材の一部の周囲に配置されることと、
同医療装置の基端部もしくは先端部近傍の内側チューブ部材の周囲に配置された形状記憶金属バンパーとを備え、同バンパーは、マルテンサイト相とオーステナイト相との間を変形可能であり、同マルテンサイト相においては縮小した形状および同オーステナイト相においては拡大した形状を有し、同マルテンサイト相の縮小した形状にあるときは、同バンパーは同医療装置の流路内に保持されて、同医療装置が同バンパーの周囲を通過可能であり、同オーステナイト相の拡大した形状にあるときは、同バンパーの外径が同医療装置の内径を上回り、同バンパーの拡張部分の側面が同医療装置の端面に当接することにより、同バンパーは同医療装置の流路内へ進入することを阻止されて、同医療装置はバンパーの周囲を通過不能であることとを特徴とする装置搬送システム。
