Claims (1)
- 内燃機関の燃焼室に連通する吸気通路に燃焼状態を改善するために配設された燃焼改善手段の故障を診断する燃焼改善手段の故障診断装置であって、
前記内燃機関の気筒毎の平均クランク角加速度と、前記燃焼改善手段の現在の状態とに基づいて、前記燃焼改善手段の故障を対応する気筒毎に判定する故障判定手段を備え、
前記燃焼改善手段が全閉となるように制御されているときの前記平均クランク角加速度が減速側にあり、且つ前記燃焼改善手段が全閉となるように制御されていないときの前記平均クランク角加速度が減速側にない場合に、前記故障判定手段が、減速側にある前記平均クランク角加速度が検出された気筒に対応する燃焼改善手段に異常あり、と判定することを特徴とする燃焼改善手段の故障診断装置。
