Claims (2)
- 所定のビデオビットレートでビデオデータを生成するビデオコーデック部と、
前記ビデオコーデック部にて生成されたビデオデータのトランスポートコントロールプロトコル(TCP)パケットを生成するTCPパケット生成部と、
前記TCPパケット生成部にて生成された前記TCPパケットを送信するTCPパケット送信部と、
前記TCPパケット送信回部で送信した前記ビデオデータの前記TCPパケットを受信するレシーバで受信した前記ビデオデータのパケット数を表すリアルタイムトランスポートコントロールプロトコル(RTCP)のレシーバレポートを受信するレシーバレポート受信部と、
前記ビデオビットレートを制御するコントロール部と、を備えて、
前記コントロール部は、TCPパケット送信部で送信した前記ビデオデータのパケット数と前記レシーバで受信したパケット数との間の差(DIFF値)を所定期間の間に判定するDIFF値判定部と、
50個以上の前記DIFF値に基づき、通信中の前記送信部が送信したパケット数(D値)を推定するD値推定部と、
50個以上の前記DIFF値に基づき、送信中のビデオデータパケットの標準偏差(SDEV値)を推定するSDEV値推定部と、
前記DIFF値、D値及びSDEV値の間の関係で前記ビデオビットレートを調整する調整部と、
前記ビデオビットレートを制御するため4つのカウンターI1と、カウンターI2と、カウンターI3及びカウンターI4と、を含めて、
前記調整部とは、
前記DIFF値判定部が判定した各DIFF値が、前記D値推定部が推定したD値と前記SDEV値推定部が推定したSDEV値の2倍の合計を超えるとき、前記カウンターI1をインクリメントした後、I1=3となるとき、前記ビデオビットレートを20%下げるように、
或いは、前記判定部が判定した各DIFF値が、前記D値推定部が推定したD値と前記SDEV値推定部が推定したSDEV値の合計を超えるとき、前記カウンターI2をインクリメントした後、I2=5となるとき、前記ビデオビットレートを20%下げるように、
或いは、前記判定部が判定した各DIFF値が、前記D値推定部が推定したD値を超えるとき、前記カウンターI3をインクリメントした後、I3=9となるとき、前記ビデオビットレートを20%下げるように、
或いは、前記判定部が判定した各DIFF値が、前記D値推定部が推定したD値を下回るとき、前記カウンターI4をインクリメントした後、I4=6となるとき、前記ビデオビットレートを10%上げるように構成されている
ことを特徴とするビデオ会議装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置を含むビデオ会議システム。
