Description
本発明のシーラント用プロピレン系重合体は、[1]MFR(230℃、2.16kgf)が1〜50(g/10min)を満たし、[2]n−デカン可溶分量が3重量%以下であり、[3]DSCで求めた融点が120℃以下であるという特徴を持つ。
素、または炭素数1〜20の炭化水素基であることが好ましい。炭素数1〜20の炭化水素基としては、前述の炭化水素基を例示することができる。さらに好ましくはR3が炭素数1〜20の炭化水素基である。
前記の本発明のシーラント用プロピレン系重合体をフィルム成形することによって、耐衝撃性、高いヒートシール強度および低温ヒートシール性を必要とする包装材のシーラントフィルムを高速製膜することができる。フィルムの成形は、キャスト成形法であってもインフレーション成形法であってもよく、通常樹脂温度200〜260℃の条件で均一膜厚の良好なフィルムを製造することができる。フィルムの厚みは、通常1〜100μm、好ましくは3〜80μmの範囲である。
前記フィルムは、それ単独で使用することも可能であるが、基材に積層した積層体の構成で、一般に包装フィルムまたは包装シートとして使用される。
1)n-デカン可溶分量
サンプル5gにn-デカン200mlを加え、撹拌しながら加熱して試料を完全に溶解させた。約3時間かけて、20℃まで冷却させ、30分間放置した。その後、析出物をろ別した。ろ液を1000mlのアセトン中に入れ、n-デカン中に溶解していた成分を析出させた。析出物とアセトンをろ別し、析出物を乾燥した。なお、ろ液側を濃縮乾固しても残渣は認められなかった。n-デカン可溶分量は、以下の式によって求めた。
n-デカン可溶分量(wt%)=[析出物重量/サンプル重量]×100
DSC測定器を用いて測定した。
機器: セイコーインスツルメンツ(株)DSC6200、
サンプリング: ペレットを細かく刻んで所定の容器に挿入する。
条件:10℃/minで230℃まで昇温し、230℃雰囲気下で10分間予熱する。その後、10℃/minで降温して得られる結晶化ピークの頂点の温度を結晶化温度とする。50℃まで降温したところで10℃/minで230℃まで再び昇温し、そのとき得られる融解曲線から融点を求めた。
ASTM D-1238の方法により230℃、荷重2.16kgで測定した。シリンダーには特に窒素を導入せずに、直接ペレットをシリンダーに投入し溶融させた。
DSC測定器:(株)パーキンエルマー DSC−7
サンプリング:ペレットを230℃で加熱プレスし薄いシートを作成し、所定の大きさにカットして所定の容器に挿入する。
測定条件: 40℃/minで230℃まで昇温し230℃雰囲気下で10分間予熱する。その後、320℃/minで105℃まで降温し105℃雰囲気下で保持する。そのとき得られる全結晶化熱量の1/2に達するまでの時間をT1/2とする。
ASTM D−1003に準拠して測定した。
Δヘイズは、製膜初期のヘイズと、フィルムを80℃雰囲気下で7日間、オーブンで保管しておいたときのヘイズの差で求めた。
フィルムを5mm巾にサンプリングし、シール時間が1秒、圧力が0.2MPa、でシールした。シールしたフィルムの両端を300mm/minで引張り、剥離する最大強度を測定した。なお、シールバーの上部は 115℃に設定し、下部は70℃で行った。
ジフェニルメチレン(3−t−ブチル−5−メチルシクロペンタジエニル)(2,7−ジ−t−ブチルフルオレニル)ジルコニウムジクロリドの代わりに ジメチルシリレンビス−(2−メチル−4−フェニルインデニル)ジルコニウムジクロリドを用い、実施例1と同様に重合することによって、エチレン含量が5.2重量%で、融点が115℃のプロピレン系重合体を得た。このプロピレン系重合体について実施例1と同様に処理してペレットを得た。得られたペレットについて測定した物性を表1にまとめる。
MgCl2担持型TiCl4触媒とトリエチルアルミニウムを用いて重合したプロピレン系重合体であって、エチレン含量が4重量%、 ブテン含量が2.5重量%、融点が131℃であるプロピレン系重合体について、実施例1と同様にして行った。得られたペレットについて測定した物性を表1にまとめる。
Claims (3)
- ジフェニルメチレン(3−t−ブチル−5−メチルシクロペンタジエニル)(2,7−ジ−t−ブチルフルオレニル)ジルコニウムジクロリドを含むメタロセン触媒の存在下で、プロピレンの単独重合またはプロピレンとプロピレンを除く炭素数2〜20のα−オレフィンとを共重合して得られる(共)重合体であって、
下記要件[1]〜[3]を同時に満たすことを特徴とするシーラント用プロピレン系重合体。
[1]MFR(230℃、2.16kgf)が1〜50(g/10min)の範囲。
[2]n−デカン可溶分量が3重量%以下。
[3]DSCで求めた融点が120℃以下。
- 請求項1に記載のシーラント用プロピレン系重合体からなり、
Δヘイズ(80℃、7日後のHAZEの変化率)が2%以下、ヒートシール強度が5N/15mm以上であり、厚み1〜100μmであることを特徴とするシーラントフィルム。 - 請求項2に記載のシーラントフィルムの層(X)と、ポリオレフィンフィルム、ポリスチレンフィルム、ポリエステルフィルム、ポリアミドフィルム、ポリオレフィンとガスバリヤー性樹脂フィルムとの積層フィルム、アルミ箔、紙、および蒸着フィルムとからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一つのフィルム層(Y)とを含むことを特徴とする積層体。
