Description
(a) 揮発性有機酸を形成するために、酸生成の微生物群で有機系廃棄物を処理すること
(b) PHAsを形成するために、PHA生産微生物種による揮発性有機酸の重合
を含む。その特定のPHAsは短鎖(3から5の炭素)のモノマーか長鎖(6から14炭素)のモノマーのいずれかを含んでも良い。PHA生産微生物種は、例えば、ラルストニア・ユウトロファやプシュードモナスオレオボランスであっても良い。PHAポリマーの粘度平均分子量Mvは、50から100kDの範囲である。
(a) 酸素を伴わない、有機系廃棄物の酸生成のための第1の区画と、
(b) 酸素を伴った、ラルストニア・ユウトロファやプシュードモナスオレオボランスやそれらの混合の集積培養によるポリマー合成のための第2の区画と、

Claims (10)
- 有機系廃棄物を、ポリヒドロキシアルカノアート(PHAs)を含む生分解性の熱可塑性プラスチック材料に変換する方法であって、
(a)第1の区画で、酸生成の微生物群で有機系廃棄物を処理して、揮発性有機酸を形成するステップ、
及び
(b) 第2の区画で、ポリヒドロキシアルカノアート(PHA)生産微生物種により前記揮発性有機酸を重合して、ポリヒドロキシアルカノアート(PHAs)を生成するステップ、
を含み、
管状の障壁モジュールを該第2の区画の溶液中に浸漬配置して、前記障壁モジュールを介して前記第1の区画と第2の区画の間で、前記第1の区画で形成された揮発性有機酸を循環させて、前記揮発性有機酸を前記障壁モジュールの内側から前記第2の区画の溶液内に、該障壁を通過する分子拡散により直接移動させる、
ように構成したことを特徴とする方法。 - ポリヒドロキシアルカノアート(PHA)生産微生物種が、ラルストニア・ユウトロファ又はプシュードモナスオレオボランスである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- (a) が嫌気的環境で起こり、(b) が好気的環境で起こる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ポリヒドロキシアルカノアート(PHAs)が3から5の炭素のモノマーを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ポリヒドロキシアルカノアート(PHAs)が6から14の炭素のモノマーを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- PHAが、ポリ(3−ヒドロキシブチレート)又はポリ(3−ヒドロキシブチレート−コ−3−ヒドロキシヘキサノアート)である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び第2の区画がバイオリアクタである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 有機系廃棄物を,ポリヒドロキシアルカノアート(PHAs)を含む生分解性の熱可塑性プラスチック材料に変換するシステムであって、前記システムは、
(a) 有機系廃棄物の発酵酸生成のための第1の区画
及び
(b) ラルストニア・ユウトロファやプシュードモナスオレオボランスやそれらの混合が構成するPHA生産微生物種の集積培養によるポリマー合成のための第2の区画
を含み、
管状の障壁モジュールを該第2の区画の溶液中に浸漬配置し、
前記障壁モジュールを介して前記第1の区画と第2の区画の間で、前記第1の区画で生成された前記発酵酸を循環させて、前記発酵酸を前記障壁モジュールの内側から前記第2の区画の溶液内に前記障壁を通って分子拡散により直接移動させることを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記障壁が、2つの区画における微生物細胞、粒子及び水の混合を防止する、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記障壁が、2つの区画における異なる培養状態を維持する、請求項8に記載のシステム。
