Description
請求項1記載の発明にあっては、製品の冷却工程において、合成樹脂のガラス転移温度近傍の所定温度に冷却されるまで、レトルト釜の圧力を熱殺菌処理工程の圧力レベルを保持できるように制御することにより、冷却工程において容器内外の圧力バランスにより膨出状の永久変形が発生するのを確実に防止することができる。
図1は本発明のレトルト処理方法の一実施例において、釜内温度Tk(破線)および釜内圧力Pk(実線)の経時変化を示す説明図である。本実施例では試験的に280ml用の2軸延伸ブロー成形丸型ボトルに水を充填して実施した例であり、同時に測定した壜体内温度Tb(2点鎖線)と壜体内圧力Pb(2点鎖線)の測定結果を部分的に併せて示した。また図中t1〜t5の符号は工程等の開始時間あるいは終了時間を示すために記載したものである。

Claims (1)
- 二軸延伸ブロー成形したポリエチレンテレフタレート系樹脂製の壜体である合成樹脂製容器に内容物を収納した製品の蒸気式によるレトルト処理方法であって、一定温度での熱殺菌処理工程後の冷却工程において、少なくとも製品温度が前記容器を形成するポリエチレンテレフタレート系樹脂のガラス転移温度近傍の略80℃の所定温度に冷却されるまで、レトルト釜の圧力を熱殺菌処理工程時の圧力レベルを保持できるように制御することを特徴とするレトルト処理方法。
