図2及び図11は、本発明キー18の実施例を示す。キー18は、このキー18のコンポーネントを収納する外部ハウジング22を有する。キー18の前方端部にはロック掛合ロッド24を設ける。キー18には、更に、環状ネック部26を設け、このネック部26にはロッド24に対向する孔130を形成する。ハウジング22内には、バッテリ28、バッテリばね30及びプリント回路基板32を設ける。プリント回路基板にはマイクロプロセッサ、LED36及びビーパ(beeper)38を取り付ける。キー18とロック12との間の電気的接触は、絶縁体42によって電気的に絶縁されたキーピン40によって生ずるようにする。コイルばね44によりピン40を前方にロック12に掛合させるよう押圧する。キーピン40をマイクロプロセッサ及びバッテリ28に電気的接続する。
図1及び図4〜図6にはロック12の実施例を示す。図6はロック12を長手方向に2等分割した断面図である。ロック12は、シリンダ14及びシェル16により構成する。ロック12は通常の機械的シリンダロックと交換できる寸法にする。テールピース58(図6参照)をシリンダ14の端部にボルト又はねじにより取り付ける。シリンダ14の端部における1対の孔59を設け、テールピースを取り付けるためのボルト又はねじを収容する。テールピース58をボルト20又はロックすべき物品の移動に干渉する他の普通のロック装置に連結する。例えば、ロックを机の引き出しに使用するとき、ボルト2は机に対して引き出しが移動するのを阻止する。シェル16は任意の普通の材料、例えば真ちゅうで形成し、シェル16の円筒形部分から突出する止め板60を設ける。この止め板60は、例えば、机の引き出しのようなロックすべき装置のスロット内に嵌合し、シェル16が装置に対して回転するのを防止する。Oリング62及びバックシール63を使用してシェル16の内部をシールし、ほこりや他の汚染体がシェル16の内部に侵入し、ロック12のコンポーネントが損傷するのを防止する。ねじ付きリテーナ64をシリンダ14のねじ付き後方部分66にねじ連結する。シリンダ14とシェル16との間の張力はリテーナ64を締め付けることにより調整することができ、従って、シリンダ14がシェル16内において回転するし易さを制御する。
次に、図1〜図9の実施例を参照して、キー及びロックの通信について説明すると、キー18及びロック12はキーピン40及び電気接点72を介して交信する。図12につき説明すると、キー18は、マイクロプロセッサ132と、このマイクロプロセッサ132に接続した電子的に消去可能かつプログラム可能なリード・オンリー・メモリ(EEPROM)メモリ134とを有する。正確には、マイクロプロセッサ132及び関連のメモリ134はコンピュータ装置を構成する。本発明に使用するコンピュータ装置は、マイクロプロセッサ単独のものであろうと、又は他のプロセッサ及び/又はメモリ装置と組み合わせたものであろうと任意の装置とすることができ、読み取り、書き込み、削除、記憶、及び/又はキー認識コード、パスワード、及び他のデータに関連する情報の比較といった機能を行なうものとする。キー18には、更に、随意的に、LED36、ビーパ(beeper)38、バッテリ28、及びクロック136を設ける。
Claims (26)
- 1対の細長いスローピン(307)に連結したスローに使用する受容部に挿入するのに適した電子ロック(212)において、
(a) シェル(216)内に収容し、このシェルに対して長手方向軸線の周りに回転可能な細長のシリンダ(214)であって、このシリンダの回転中、前記スローピン(307)に掛合するようにした該シリンダ(214)を具え、
(b) 前記シェルは、固定部分(216a)と、及び突耳(217)を有し、前記固定部分に対して相対回転可能であり、前記突耳によって前記ロック(212)が前記受容部から外れるのに抵抗を示す回転可能な保持部分(216b)とにより構成し、
(c) 前記シリンダは、前記シリンダの回転に選択的に干渉することができる電気的に動作するロック機構を有し、このロック機構は、前記長手方向軸線に平行に整列する細長のソレノイド組立体を有する構成とし、
(d) 前記ロックは、前記ロック(212)を前記受容部に挿入するとき、前記1対の細長いスローピン(307)のうち少なくとも一方を収容する少なくとも1個の長手方向に整列した細長のキャビティ(309)を前記シリンダ(214)内に画成するようにした

- 前記細長のキャビティ(309)は、前記ソレノイド組立体(280,284,290,294)と前記シリンダ(214)の内面との間に部分的に画成されるものとした請求項1記載の電子ロック。
- 更に、前記ソレノイド組立体(280,284,290,294)に対向して取り付けたマイクロプロセッサのための回路板(276)を具え、前記細長のキャビティ(309)は前記ソレノイド組立体と前記回路板との間に画成されるものとした請求項5記載の電子ロック。
- 前記ロック(212)を前記受容部に収容したとき、前記スローピン(307)は前記ソレノイド組立体(280,284,290,294)に近接するものとした請求項1記載の電子ロック。
- 前記ロック(212)を前記受容部に挿入したとき、前記スローピン(307)は前記ソレノイド組立体(280,284,290,294)の前方の近傍まで延在する構成とした請求項1記載の電子ロック。
- 前記ロック(212)に、前記シェルの前記固定部分(216a)と前記回転可能な部分(216b)との間で動作する保持機構(319,321,325)を設け、この保持機構により前記回転可能な部分(216b)の前記固定部分に対する回転を選択的に阻止する構成とした請求項1記載の電子ロック。
- 更に、他の細長のキャビティ(309)を具え、これら細長のキャビティ(309)の各々にそれぞれ前記1対のスローピン(307)の各1個を収容する構成とした請求項1記載の電子ロック。
- 前記ロック機構が前記シリンダ(214)の回転を干渉するとき前記ソレノイドプランジャ(290)を少なくとも部分的に包囲する強磁性のエンクロージャ(267,268,297)を設けた請求項1記載の電子ロック。
- 前記シリンダ(214)が、キーを抜き差するホームポジションから回転するとき前記シリンダを前記ホームポジションに押圧するバイアス機構(106,11 0,114A,114B)を設け、前シリンダ(214)が前記ホームポジションにあるとき、前記ロック機構は前記シリンダの回転に干渉するよう動作する構成とした請求項1記載の電子ロック。
- 更に、前記シリンダ(214)の長手方向移動に応答する前記ロック機構の移動に選択的に抵抗する不正防止のアンチタンパー機構(84,86,88)を設けた請求項1記載の電子ロック。
- 前記ロック(212)のためのキー(18)は、前記ロック機構のための電源を有する構成とした請求項1記載の電子ロック。
- 更に、前記シリンダがキー抜き差し位置に回転するときを除いて、前記キー(18)と前記シリンダ(214)との掛合を確実に保持するよう動作するキー保持機構(124,126)を設けた請求項1記載の電子ロック。
- (a) シェル(216)内に収容したシリンダ(214)であって、前記シェル(216)に対して相対回転可能な該シリンダ(214)と、
(b) 前記シリンダ(214)の回転に選択的に干渉することができ、ソレノイドコイル(280)及びソレノイドプランジャ(290)を有するソレノイドを設けた電気的動作のロック機構であって、このロック機構が前記シリンダの回転に干渉するとき前記ソレノイドプランジャが第1位置をとり、前記シリンダが自由に回転するとき前記ソレノイドプランジャが第2位置をとる構成としたロック機構と、
(c) 前記ソレノイドプランジャを収容する開口を有する強磁性のエンクロージャ(267,268,297)であって、前記ソレノイドプランジャが前記第1位置および前記第2位置をとるとき、前記ソレノイドコイル及び前記ソレノイドプランジャ(290)の少なくとも一部を包囲して、前記シリンダの前面に外部から加わる磁界が前記ソレノイドプランジャ(290)を前記第1位置から前記第2位置に押しやるのを阻止するようにした該エンクロージャ(267,268,297)と
を具えたことを特徴とする電子ロック。 - 前記ソレノイドプランジャ(290)は、前記シリンダの前面に外部から加わる磁界が存在するときに、前記第1位置に向かって押圧される構成とした請求項16記載の電子ロック。
- 前記シリンダ(214)は前記強磁性のエンクロージャの一部をなす構成とした請求項16記載の電子ロック。
- 前記シリンダ(214)は、前記強磁性のエンクロージャ(267,268,297)の外部に非強磁性の部分(269)を設け、前記ソレノイドプランジャ(290)が前記第1位置をとるとき、前記ソレノイドプランジャ(290)の少なくとも一部が前記非強磁性の部分(269)内に収容される構成とした請求項16記載の電子ロック。
- 前記ソレノイドプランジャ(290)が前記第2位置をとるとき、前記ソレノイドプランジャ(290)の少なくとも大部分が前記強磁性のエンクロージャ(267,268,297)内に収容される構成とした請求項16記載の電子ロック。
- 前記ソレノイドプランジャ(290)が前記第2位置をとるとき、前記ソレノイドプランジャ(290)の少なくとも75%が前記強磁性のエンクロージャ(267,268,297)内に収容される構成とした請求項20記載の電子ロック。
- 更に、前記シリンダ(214)が、キーを抜き差するホームポジションから回転するとき前記シリンダをホームポジションに押圧するバイアス機構(106,110,114A,114B)を設け、前シリンダ(214)が前記ホームポジションにあるとき、前記ロック機構は前記シリンダの回転に干渉するよう動作する構成とした請求項16記載の電子ロック。
- 更に、前記シリンダ(214)の長手方向移動に応答して前記ロック機構の移動に選択的に抵抗する不正防止のアンチタンパー機構(84,86,88)を設けた請求項16記載の電子ロック。
- 前記ロックのためのキーは前記ロック機構のための電源を設けた請求項16記載の電子ロック。
- 更に、前記シリンダがキー抜き差し位置に回転するときを除いて、前記キー(18)と前記シリンダ(214)との掛合を確実に保持するよう動作するキー保持機構(124,126)を設けた請求項16記載の電子ロック。
- 電子ロック装置において、
(a) シェル(216)内に収容し、このシェルに対して回転可能なシリンダ(214)と
(b) キー(18)と
を具え、
(c) 前記キーおよび前記シリンダのうちの少なくとも一方を、前記キーが前記シリンダに電気的に接続されたとき信号を発生することができる構成とし、
(d) 更に、前記シリンダ内に設けた電気的動作のロック機構であって、開放位置とロック位置との間で移動可能なロック部材(304)を有し、このロック部材(304)がロック位置にあるとき前記シリンダの前記シェルに対する回転を干渉するロック機構と、
(e) 前記シリンダの長手方向移動に応答して前記ロック部材の移動に選択的に抵抗する不正防止のアンチタンパー機構(84,86,88)と
を具えたことを特徴とする電子ロック装置。
