Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an armrest device for a chair, and more particularly to an armrest device for a chair that can adjust the position of the armrest in the left-right direction in accordance with the physique of the occupant and the work content.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In this way, as a conventional armrest device that can adjust the left and right position of the elbow rest according to the physique and work contents of the occupant, the elbow rest follows the movement of the occupant's arm. There are some which can be rotated in the left-right direction (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2).
[0003]
In addition, some have a lock mechanism for adjusting the position of the elbow rest in the left-right direction and holding it in that state (see, for example, Patent Document 3).

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-24079
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the armrest device described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 described above, the armrest follows the movement of the arm and moves freely in the left-right direction. There are times when it is inconvenient. Further, when an external force is applied to the elbow rest, the position once adjusted is easily changed and needs to be adjusted again.
[0006]
On the other hand, in the invention described in Patent Document 3 described above, since the elbow rest after the position adjustment can be held in that state, the above problem does not occur. However, every time the position of the elbow rest is adjusted, the lock mechanism must be pushed to release the lock, which is troublesome.
There is also a problem that the lock mechanism is complicated and the number of parts is large.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and adjusts the position of the elbow rest in the left-right direction with a simple feeling without operating a lock mechanism or the like, and holds it at that position. An object of the present invention is to provide an armrest device for a chair that can be obtained.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, the above problem is solved as follows.

A flat plate-like stop member, which faces the front-rear direction on the substrate provided in the elbow rest and has a locking portion at either front or rear end, is fixed to the upper end of the support shaft so as not to rotate. The biasing means is constantly biased toward the stop member side by the biasing means on the substrate facing the latching portion of the stop member, and the latching portion is selectively within the same plane on the end surface of the stop member side. A flat plate-like position adjusting member having a plurality of locking grooves that can be engaged with the guide groove and the guide protrusion facing the front-rear direction provided on the facing surface of the position adjusting member and the substrate are slidable with respect to each other. by fitting, movable in a longitudinal direction, and A notch that is recessed inward is provided on one side of the position adjusting member, and a torsion spring that constitutes the urging means is provided so as to protrude upward on the substrate so as to be located in the notch. fitted into locking shaft, one of the terminal portion of the torsion spring, a position adjusting member, that also abolish engaging the other end portion on the substrate.
[0009]
(2) In the above item (1), the locking portion of the stop member is a locking surface protruding in a semicircular arc shape, and each locking groove of the position adjusting member has substantially the same radius of curvature as the locking surface. The locking groove is recessed in a semicircular arc shape.
[0010]
(3) In the above item (1) or (2), an end surface between adjacent locking grooves is an arc-shaped convex curved surface.
[0011]
(4) In any one of the above items (1) to (3), when the locking portion of the stop member is engaged with the outermost locking groove in the left-right direction on the elbow rest substrate, by contacting or close to the both sides, Ru provided stopper pin for regulating the maximum rotation amount in the lateral direction of the elbow.
[0012]

As shown in FIG. 3, the position adjusting plate (18) has a guide groove (22) on the lower surface thereof fitted into a guide protrusion (23) of the elbow rest substrate (6) from above and a long hole (20). Is fitted to the cylinder shaft (24), and the screw (27) is screwed into the female screw hole (25) in the cylinder shaft (24) via the washer (26) to prevent the screw from coming upward. And is slidably attached to the upper surface of the elbow pad (6).
[0025]
A torsion spring (29) is provided on one side of the position adjusting plate (18) on the locking shaft (28) projecting upward on the upper surface of the elbow rest substrate (6) facing the cylinder shaft (24). It is fitted so that it is located in the notch (18a) part formed in the part, one end part of which is locked from above into the locking elongated hole (21) of the position adjusting plate (18), and the other This terminal portion is locked to a locking projection (30) provided on the elbow rest substrate (6) in front of the locking shaft (28).
[0026]
As a result, the position adjusting plate (18) is always urged rearward by the torsion spring (29), and one of the plurality of locking grooves (19) at the rear end is locked to the front end of the stop plate (14). It can be elastically engaged with the surface (14a).
[0027]
In the armrest device of the above-described embodiment, in order to adjust the position of the elbow rest (4) in the left-right direction, the elbow rest (4) may be pushed horizontally in the left-right direction by holding the elbow rest (4) near the front end.
[0028]
Then, as shown in FIG. 4, the entire elbow rest (4) including the elbow rest substrate (6) and the position adjusting plate (14) attached to the upper surface of the elbow rest (4) , The locking surface (14a) of the front end of the stop plate (14) fixed to the stepped support shaft (10) causes the position adjustment plate (18) to be biased by the torsion spring (29). While being pushed forward against this, it selectively elastically engages with the plurality of locking grooves (19) at the rear end.
[0029]
As a result, the left and right positions of the elbow pads (4) are adjusted stepwise and with a sense of moderation by the number of the locking grooves (19), and after adjustment, the elbow pads (4) can be easily rotated in the left and right directions. It is prevented from moving.
[0030]
When the locking surface (14a) of the stop plate (14) is engaged with the left and right outermost locking grooves (19) and the elbow rest (4) is rotated to the maximum in the lateral direction, (6) The stopper pin (17) protruding from the rear end of the stopper plate (14) comes into contact with or close to the facing surface of the notch groove (16) of the stop plate (14). 14a) is prevented from detaching from the outermost locking groove (19).
[0031]
As described above, in the armrest device of the present invention, the left / right position can be easily adjusted by simply rotating the armrest (4) in the left / right direction. It is not necessary to adjust the position, and the position adjustment becomes very easy.
[0032]
The position adjusting plate (18) is always urged rearward by the torsion spring (29), that is, toward the stop plate (14), and the locking surface (14a) and the locking groove (19) are halfway. Since it is a circular engagement form, there is no possibility that the engaged state is easily released and the position of the elbow rest (4) once adjusted is changed to a paranoid.
[0033]
Furthermore, since the stop plate (14) and the position adjusting plate (18) are flat and engage in substantially the same plane, the vertical dimension of the elbow rest (4) is minimized. be able to.
[0034]
The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment.
In the above embodiment, the armrest device is such that the rear end of the armrest (4) is pivotally attached to the upper end of the armrest support rod (3) that forms part of the armrest strut. The present invention can also be applied to an armrest device in which the central portion of the direction is pivotally attached to the upper end of the armrest column (2).
[0035]
At this time, the stop plate (14) and the position adjustment plate (18) are opposite to each other in the front-rear direction, and the position adjustment plate (18) is attached to the front by a biasing means such as a torsion spring. You may make it rush.
[0036]
Instead of the cutout groove (16) formed at the rear end of the stop plate (14), an arc-shaped long hole centered on the pivot portion of the stop plate (14) may be used.
[0037]
As shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 4, when the elbow rest (4) is rotated to the left and right as much as possible on the left and right ends of the upper surface of the elbow rest substrate (6) sandwiching the stop plate (14). In addition, two stopper pins (31) (31) that can come into contact with the middle portions of the left and right ends of the stop plate (14) may be erected, so that the notch grooves (16) and There is no need to form long holes.
[0038]
In the above embodiment, the guide groove (22) is provided on the position adjustment plate (18) side, and this is slidably fitted to the guide protrusion (23) on the upper surface of the elbow pad (6). , They may form the opposite.
[0039]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the present invention, only by rotating the elbow rest in the left-right direction, the locking portion at the tip of the stop member is selectively engaged with the plurality of locking grooves of the position adjusting member, The left and right positions can be adjusted step by step with a sense of moderation. Therefore, it is not necessary to operate the conventional lock mechanism each time, and the position adjustment of the elbow rest becomes extremely easy.
Also, since the position adjustment member is always urged toward the stop member by the urging means, the locking portion of the stop member can be easily removed from the locking groove, and the adjusted position of the elbow rest is changed to delirium. There is no fear of being done.
Further, the stop member and the position adjusting member are formed in a flat plate shape, and the engaging portion and the latching groove are engaged in the same plane, so that the vertical dimension of the stop member and the position adjusting member is small. Therefore, miniaturization can be achieved by minimizing the vertical dimension of the elbow rest.
Since the guide groove and the guide protrusion, which are provided on the opposing surface of the position adjustment member and the substrate and face in the front-rear direction, are slidably fitted to each other, the position adjustment member moves stably in the front-rear direction. Therefore, rattling does not occur between the locking portion and the locking groove, and the engagement and disengagement of them is performed reliably.
In addition, the urging means can be compactly accommodated and provided in a small space on one side of the position adjusting member.
[0040]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the locking portion of the stop member is engaged with the locking groove of the position adjusting member without being loose and relatively deeply engaged, it is possible to prevent the elbow rest from rotating. Will increase.
[0041]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, since the locking portion of the stop member can smoothly move over the convex curved surface and engage with the adjacent locking groove, the position adjustment of the elbow rest can be performed smoothly. Can do.
[0042]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the locking portion of the locking member so is prevented from leaving from the locking groove of the outermost, fear not name the location of the elbow becomes impossible adjusted.
