Description
Claims (16)
- 1枚の大型メモリカード(66A)又は1枚若しくは2枚の小型メモリカード(66)を収容するように設計されたメモリカードコネクタ(30)であって、
1枚以上のメモリカード(66、66A)の嵌合端(76)を収容する差込口(36)の少なくとも一部分を画定する後側端子取付部(34)と、後側部の両端から前方に延在する1対の側壁部(38)と、該側壁部の間で後側部から前方に延在する中央部(40)とを備え、該中央部がメモリカード(66、66A)を差込口内に案内するガイドリブ(40e)を備えるハウジング(32)と、
該ハウジングの後側端子取付部に取付けられ、メモリカードが差込口に挿入されたときにメモリカード上の適切な接点と係合する複数の導電性端子(42)とを有し、
それにより、大型メモリカード(66A)を、側壁部(38)の間でかつ中央部(40)を越えて後側端子取付部の差込口に挿入することができ、1枚又は2枚の小型メモリカード(66)を側壁部と中央部との間に挿入することができ、前記大型メモリカード(66A)が下側に前記ガイドリブ(40e)を収容する溝(94)を備えるメモリカードコネクタ(30)。 - 前記側壁部(38)は、大型メモリカード(66A)を差込口(36)内に案内する直立ガイド壁(38a)を備える、請求項1に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記端子(42)は、前記中央部(40)の両側において2つのグループに分割されている、請求項1に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記側壁部(38)及び前記中央部(40)は、前記後側端子取付部(34)に着脱可能に取付けられる、請求項1に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記側壁部(38)及び中央部(40)のそれぞれが、それ自体をプリント回路基板に取付けるための手段(38g、40a)を含む、請求項4に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記後側端子取付部(34)、側壁部(38)及び中央部(40)はすべて、絶縁性プラスチック材料でモールド成形される、請求項1に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記後側端子取付部(34)は絶縁性プラスチック材料でモールド成形され、前記側壁部(38’)及び中央部(40’)は金属材料から形成される、請求項1に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記側壁部(38’)及び前記中央部(40’)は、前記後側端子取付部(34)に着脱可能に取付けられる、請求項7に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記側壁部(38’)及び中央部(40’)は、シートメタル材料から打抜き形成される、請求項7に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 1枚の大型メモリカード(66A)又は1枚若しくは2枚の小型メモリカード(66)を収容するように設計されたメモリカードコネクタ(30)であって、
1枚以上のメモリカード(66、66A)の嵌合端(76)を収容する差込口(36)の少なくとも一部分を画定する後側端子取付部(34)と、後側部の両端から前方に延在する1対の側壁部(38)と、該側壁部の間で後側部から前方に延在する中央部(40)とを備え、前記側壁部が直立ガイド壁(38a)を備え、前記中央部がガイドリブ(40e)を備えるハウジング(32)と、
該ハウジングの後側端子取付部に取付けられ、前記中央部の両側において2つのグループに分割され、メモリカードが差込口に挿入されたときにメモリカード上の適切な接点と係合する複数の導電性端子(42)とを有し、
それにより、側壁部の直立ガイド壁(38a)が大型メモリを差込口内に案内するので、大型メモリカード(66A)を側壁部(38)の間でかつ中央部(40)を越えて後側端子取付部の差込口に挿入することができ、1枚又は2枚の小型メモリカード(66)を側壁部(38)の直立ガイド壁(38a)と中央部(40)のガイドリブ(40e)との間に挿入することができ、前記大型メモリカード(66A)が下側に前記ガイドリブ(40e)を収容する溝(94)を備えるメモリカードコネクタ(30)。 - 前記側壁部(38)及び前記中央部(40)は、後側端子取付部(34)に着脱可能に取付けられる、請求項10に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記側壁部(38)及び中央部(40)のそれぞれが、それ自体をプリント回路基板に取付けるための手段(38g、40a)を含む、請求項11に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記後側端子取付部(34)、側壁部(38)及び中央部(40)はすべて、絶縁性プラスチック材料でモールド成形される、請求項10に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記後側端子取付部(34)は、絶縁性プラスチック材料でモールド成形され、前記側壁部(38’)及び中央部(40’)は金属材料で形成される、請求項10に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記側壁部(38’)及び前記中央部(40’)は、後側端子取付部(34)に着脱可能に取付けられる、請求項14に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
- 前記側壁部(38’)及び中央部(40’)は、シートメタル材料から打抜き形成される、請求項14に記載のメモリカードコネクタ。
