Description
インフレーターにおける吐出口側端部が、インフレーターの内部の膨張用ガスをインフレーターの軸直交方向に吐出させる案内部を備え、
案内部が、
吐出口側端部の外周面に放射状に配置されるとともに、吐出口側端部の端面まで延びて配置される複数の凹溝と、
インフレーターの軸直交方向に沿って吐出口側端部内のガス流路に貫通するように、各凹溝の底面に配置されて、吐出側端部内の膨張用ガスをインフレーターの軸直交方向に沿って吐出させる貫通孔と、
を備えて構成され、
インフレーターの各ガス吐出口が、それぞれ、各凹溝によって構成されるとともに、各凹溝における吐出口側端部の外周面に開口する外周面側開口と、各凹溝における吐出口側端部の端面に開口し、かつ、外周面側開口に連なって開口する端面側開口と、を備えて構成され、
インフレーターの吐出口側端部の外周面側における凹溝間が、ガス流入口部の内周面を支持可能な支持面部として、構成され、
エアバッグのガス流入口部が、インフレーターにおける各ガス吐出口の外周面側開口を塞いで吐出口側端部に外装されるとともに、支持面部に圧接させるためのクランプにより、インフレーターと接続されることを特徴とする。

Claims (2)
- シリンダタイプのインフレーターが、複数のガス吐出口を備えた吐出口側端部を、エアバッグの筒状のガス流入口部に挿入させるとともに、前記ガス流入口部を前記吐出口側端部の外周面に締め付け可能なクランプを使用して、前記エアバッグと接続される構成のエアバッグ装置であって、
前記インフレーターにおける前記吐出口側端部が、前記インフレーターの内部の膨張用ガスを前記インフレーターの軸直交方向に吐出させる案内部を備え、
該案内部が、
前記吐出口側端部の外周面に放射状に配置されるとともに、前記吐出口側端部の端面まで延びて配置される複数の凹溝と、
前記インフレーターの軸直交方向に沿って前記吐出口側端部内のガス流路に貫通するように、前記各凹溝の底面に配置されて、前記吐出側端部内の膨張用ガスを前記インフレーターの軸直交方向に沿って吐出させる貫通孔と、
を備えて構成され、
前記インフレーターの前記各ガス吐出口が、それぞれ、前記各凹溝によって構成されるとともに、前記各凹溝における前記吐出口側端部の外周面に開口する外周面側開口と、前記各凹溝における前記吐出口側端部の端面に開口し、かつ、前記外周面側開口に連なって開口する端面側開口と、を備えて構成され、
前記インフレーターの前記吐出口側端部の外周面側における前記凹溝間が、前記ガス流入口部の内周面を支持可能な支持面部として、構成され、
前記エアバッグの前記ガス流入口部が、前記インフレーターにおける前記各ガス吐出口の前記外周面側開口を塞いで前記吐出口側端部に外装されるとともに、前記支持面部に圧接させるための前記クランプにより、前記インフレーターと接続されることを特徴とするエアバッグ装置。 - 前記インフレーターの吐出口側端部における支持面部の端面側に、前記インフレーターの軸直交方向に隆起する隆起部が、配設され、
前記クランプが、前記インフレーターの軸方向に沿った前記隆起部の内側近傍に、配置されて、前記ガス流入口部を前記インフレーターに接続させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエアバッグ装置。
