Description
(a)互いに係合する係合部分および互いに係合しない非係合部分を有する少なくとも2つのエンドレスベルトを含む移動成形アセンブリを提供するステップと、
(b)前記係合部分が第1の方向に移動し、前記非係合部分の各々が前記第1の方向とは異なる方向に移動して、長手軸を有する細長い再生型キャビティを形成するようにエンドレスベルトを移動するステップであって、キャビティが長手軸に対して横方向の少なくとも1つの構造物を備えた成形面を具備する、ステップと、
(c)熱硬化可能材料をキャビティに導入するステップと、
(d)キャビティにおいて熱硬化可能材料を少なくとも部分的に重合して、その中に光導波路のコアを形成するステップと、
(e)成形アセンブリからコアを除去するステップと、を含む方法である。
a)分子量約200〜15,000のイソシアネートを末端基とするポリエステルポリオールを含む軟質セグメントと、
b)大部分は軟質セグメントのイソシアネート末端基および追加ポリイソシアネートと連鎖延長剤の反応生成物を含む任意に硬質のセグメントと、
c)存在するポリエステルポリオール分子および連鎖延長剤分子の実質的にすべてを反応させるのに十分な脂肪族ポリイソシアネートと、を含む。
Claims (9)
- 細長い光導波路のコアを作製する方法であって、
(a)互いに係合する係合部分および互いに係合しない非係合部分を有する少なくとも2つのエンドレスベルトを含む移動成形アセンブリを提供するステップと、
(b)前記係合部分が第1の方向に移動し、前記非係合部分の各々が前記第1の方向とは異なる方向に移動して、長手軸を有する細長い再生されたキャビティを形成するように前記エンドレスベルトを移動するステップであって、前記キャビティが前記長手軸に対して横方向の少なくとも1つの構造物を備えた成形面を具備する、ステップと、
(c)熱硬化可能材料を前記キャビティに導入するステップと、
(d)前記キャビティにおいて前記熱硬化可能材料を少なくとも部分的に重合して、その中に光導波路のコアを形成するステップと、
(e)前記成形アセンブリから前記コアを除去するステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記成形アセンブリは2つのエンドレスベルトを具備する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記2つのエンドレスベルトが連続的に移動する、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記2つのエンドレスベルトが不連続に移動する、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記2つのエンドレスベルトが、前記キャビティにおいて前記熱硬化可能材料を完全に重合するのに十分な速度で同期して前進させられる、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記熱硬化可能材料が、前記エンドレスベルトの連続動作と、該連続操作と同時の、前記エンドレスベルトの第2の端部における前記キャビティの第2の端部からの前記光導波路の除去とを可能にするのに十分な速度で、前記エンドレスベルトの第1の端部において前記キャビティの第1の端部に導入される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記エンドレスベルトがシリコーンを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記熱硬化可能材料が、反応性シリコーン、ウレタン、およびアクリルからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記熱硬化可能材料がウレタンコポリマーである、請求項8に記載の方法。
