Description
【0001】

In addition, a guidance processing means (not shown) of the CPU 31 performs guidance processing to guide the driver on the searched route. For this purpose, the guidance processing means sends a guidance command to the display processing means, and the display processing means reads the route data in accordance with the guidance command and displays the searched route on the map screen in accordance with the route data.

The guidance processing means sends a guidance command to a voice output processing means (not shown) of the CPU 31, and the voice output processing means performs voice output processing according to the guidance command, and outputs the search route from the
[0054]
In this way, the search route is guided, and the driver can drive the vehicle according to the guided search route.
[0055]
The navigation device 14 can receive traffic information, general information, and the like via the
[0056]
The traffic information specifies information type data indicating the type of information, secondary mesh X and Y data for specifying a secondary mesh as a mesh, and a road link connecting two points (for example, intersections). And link number data representing the uplink / downlink and link information representing the content of information provided corresponding to the link number data. The link information includes, for example, a traffic jam from the start point of the road link. Consists of traffic jam head data representing the distance to the head, traffic jam degree data representing the degree of traffic jam, traffic jam length data representing the traffic jam section from the head of the traffic jam to the tail of the traffic jam, and the like.
[0057]
Therefore, the display processing means converts each link information in the traffic information into, for example, a traffic congestion arrow as a traffic condition index indicating a traffic congestion index indicating whether the traffic is congested or not. A traffic jam arrow is displayed along the road on the map screen. In this case, the color of the road, the traffic jam arrow, etc. is changed to red, orange, etc. according to the degree of traffic jam.
[0058]
In this way, the driver can know the traffic jam situation on the road, the search route, etc. on which the vehicle is to travel.
[0059]
By the way, as described above, when the route search process is performed, the search route from the departure point to the destination is displayed on the map screen, but when the driver is not guided to the geography near the destination, You cannot imagine the location of your destination, and you feel uneasy while driving the vehicle.
[0060]
Therefore, in the present embodiment, the normal search mode and the simple search mode can be set as the search route guidance mode, and the driver selects the simple search mode in the initial menu, for example. Then, a predetermined facility whose place is understood by the driver is searched, the searched facility is set as a conspicuous property, and a route from the conspicuous property to the destination is guided. Further, route guidance is not performed while the vehicle is running from the departure place to a conspicuous property.
[0061]
Next, the operation of the navigation system when the simple search mode is selected will be described.

FIG. 3 is a main flowchart showing the operation of the navigation system according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

[0066]
Subsequently, the conspicuous property setting processing means 93 of the CPU 31 performs a conspicuous property setting process, and sets a conspicuous property corresponding to the set destination based on the navigation information.
[0067]
In the conspicuous property setting process, when a conspicuous property is not set, a route from the departure place to the destination is searched, and the searched route is guided.
[0068]
For this purpose, the route search processing means of the CPU 31 performs route search processing, based on the current location, destination and search data, and according to a predetermined search condition, from the departure point represented by the current location to the destination. Search for a route and output route data.
[0069]
The guidance processing means performs guidance processing to guide the driver on the searched route from the departure place to the destination. For this purpose, the guidance processing means sends a guidance command to the display processing means, and the display processing means reads the route data in accordance with the guidance command and displays the searched route on the map screen in accordance with the route data.
[0070]
When searching for a route in the

On the other hand, when a conspicuous property is set in the conspicuous property setting process, the specific section search processing means 94 of the CPU 31 performs a specific section search process, reads the conspicuous property, destination, and search data, and stores the search data in the search data. The route from the conspicuous property to the destination is searched as a specific section based on this, and route data is output. The route data is recorded in the RAM 32.
[0073]
Subsequently, when the vehicle travels toward the conspicuous property, the arrival determination processing unit (not shown) of the CPU 31 performs the arrival determination processing, determines whether the vehicle has reached the conspicuous property, and the vehicle is conspicuous. When the property is reached, the detailed guidance processing means 97 of the CPU 31 performs detailed guidance processing, reads the route data from the RAM 32, and displays the searched route on the map screen, thereby guiding the searched route to the driver. The detailed guidance processing means 97 sends a guidance command to the voice output processing means, and the voice output processing means performs voice output processing in accordance with the guidance command, and outputs the search route from the
[0074]
In this way, a conspicuous property is set, so even if the driver is unfamiliar with the geography near the destination, the location of the destination can be imaged based on the conspicuous property, so the vehicle can be driven While you are, you will not feel anxious.
[0075]
In addition, when driving a vehicle along the searched route from the current location or starting point to the destination, the driver is required to always consider the guidance because the route is not guided until it reaches a conspicuous property. There is no. Therefore, the burden on the driver can be reduced.
[0076]
By the way, as described above, even if the conspicuous property is set and a route from the conspicuous property to the destination is searched, the driver does not always drive the vehicle toward the conspicuous property. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the destination can be reached without going through a conspicuous property as necessary. Therefore, after the specific section search process is performed, when the vehicle has not reached a conspicuous property, the detailed guidance start condition establishment determination processing unit 96 of the CPU 31 performs the detailed guidance start condition establishment determination process, Based on the positional relationship between the destination and the conspicuous property, it is determined whether or not the detailed guidance start condition is established. When the detailed guidance start condition is established, the detailed guidance processing means 97 follows the search route from the current location to the destination. Detailed guidance is started based on this. For this purpose, the detailed guidance processing means 97 reads the route data of the searched route from the current location to the destination from the RAM 32 according to the guidance command, and displays the searched route on the map screen. The detailed guidance processing means 97 sends a guidance command to the voice output processing means, and the voice output processing means performs voice output processing in accordance with the guidance command, and outputs the search route from the
[0077]
On the other hand, if the detailed guidance start condition is not satisfied, the vehicle waits until the vehicle reaches a conspicuous property or the detailed guidance start condition is satisfied.
[0078]
Next, a flowchart will be described.
Step S1: A destination is set.
Step S2 A conspicuous property setting process is performed.
Step S3: It is determined whether or not a conspicuous property has been set. If a conspicuous property is set, the process proceeds to step S6, and if not set, the process proceeds to step S4.

Step S9: It is determined whether the detailed guidance start condition is satisfied. When the detailed guidance start condition is satisfied, the process proceeds to step S10, and when not satisfied, the process returns to step S7.
Step S10 The detailed guidance process is performed and the process is terminated.
[0079]
Next, a conspicuous property setting process subroutine in step S2 of FIG. 3 will be described.
[0080]
FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a conspicuous property setting process subroutine in the first embodiment of the present invention.
[0081]
The conspicuous property setting processing means 93 (FIG. 1) of the CPU 31 (FIG. 2) performs a conspicuous property setting process and sets a conspicuous property corresponding to the set destination. For this purpose, the conspicuous property candidate list creation processing means (not shown) of the conspicuous property setting processing means 93 performs the conspicuous property candidate list creation processing, and based on the navigation information, the predetermined candidate condition of each facility is established. Extract as a prominent property candidate and create a prominent property candidate list consisting of a list of one or more facilities. In the conspicuous property candidate list, conspicuous property candidates are listed in order from the closest to the destination.
[0082]
When the candidate condition is not satisfied and the conspicuous property candidate list is an empty set, the display processing unit creates a conspicuous property display screen on the

By the way, when the candidate condition is satisfied and the conspicuous property candidate list is not an empty set, the not-illustrated setting processing unit of the conspicuous property
[0084]
On the conspicuous property display screen, an OK key and a next key are formed. When the driver understands that the conspicuous property is set and clicks the OK key, the specific section search process starts as described above. When the driver does not understand that the conspicuous property has been set and clicks the next key, the setting processing means detects the facility closest to the destination, and the facility closest to the destination. Is set as a conspicuous property. When the driver understands that the next closest facility to the destination is set as a conspicuous property and clicks the OK key, the specific section search processing means 94 starts the specific section search process.
[0085]
Next, a flowchart will be described.
Step S2-1: Conspicuous property candidate list creation processing is performed.
Step S2-2: Determine whether the conspicuous property candidate list is an empty set.
If the conspicuous property candidate list is an empty set, the process proceeds to step S2-3. If not, the process proceeds to step S2-4.
Step S2-3: Notify that a conspicuous property was not found and return.
Step S2-4: The facility closest to the destination is set as a conspicuous property.
Step S2-5 Display conspicuous properties.
Step S2-6: It is determined whether the driver has accepted. If the driver approves, the process returns. If not, the process proceeds to step S2-7.
Step S2-7: It is determined whether there is a facility next to the destination. If there is a facility closest to the destination, the process returns to step S2-5, and if not, the process returns.
[0086]
Next, a conspicuous property candidate list creation process subroutine in step S2-1 of FIG. 4 will be described.
[0087]
FIG. 5 is a diagram showing a conspicuous property candidate list creation processing subroutine in the first embodiment of the present invention.
[0088]
First, the conspicuous property candidate list creation processing means sets a search range centered on the destination. In the present embodiment, for example, an area within a circle centered on the destination and having a predetermined radius is set as the search range.
[0089]
Subsequently, the conspicuous property candidate search processing means of the conspicuous property candidate list creation processing means performs conspicuous property candidate search processing, refers to the conspicuous property data file created in the facility information data file, and displays the conspicuous property data In accordance with the conspicuous property data recorded in the file, the facility existing in the search range is searched, and the in-range facility list is created.
[0090]
The prominent property data is a facility that has at least one of the size (area) and height that is equal to or higher than a preset standard value, and that satisfies certain conditions regardless of size and height, and is a prominent property. Specific facilities (for example, facilities with conspicuous signs, government offices, stations, schools, hospitals, etc.) are created and recorded by genre.
[0091]
Subsequently, the conspicuous property candidate extraction processing means of the conspicuous property candidate list creation processing means performs conspicuous property candidate extraction processing, and in the facilities in the in-scope facility list, is there a facility belonging to the genre designated by the driver? If there is a facility that belongs to the specified genre, the facility that belongs to the specified genre is extracted, and the route that passes through the facility is extracted from the extracted facilities from the route from the current location to the destination. Delete a facility longer than a certain length and create a conspicuous property candidate list.
[0092]
Similarly, the conspicuous property candidate extraction processing means determines whether or not there is a facility having at least one of a width and a height that is equal to or greater than a threshold value in the facility in the facility list within the range, If there is a facility with at least one of the width and height exceeding the threshold, the facility exceeding the threshold is extracted, and the route through the facility is extracted from the extracted facility from the route from the current location to the destination Delete a facility longer than a certain length and create a conspicuous property candidate list. In addition, if the facility information data has only the size of the width and height, the facility whose width is equal to or larger than the threshold is extracted, and if the facility information data has only the height, the facility whose height is equal to or larger than the threshold is extracted. Then, the facility closest to the point Pe is selected as the conspicuous property Pf from the extracted facilities.
[0093]
In the present embodiment, it is determined whether or not there is a facility having at least one of a width and a height that is greater than or equal to a threshold in the facilities in the range facility list, and at least one of the width and the height is determined. When one of the facilities is above the threshold, the facilities above the threshold are extracted. Judgment is made whether there is a facility whose both width and height are above the threshold. If any of the facilities has a threshold value or more, facilities having a threshold value or more can be extracted.
[0094]
Further, the conspicuous property candidate extraction processing means judges whether there is a facility having an attribute as a conspicuous property in the facilities in the facility list within the range, and if there is a facility having an attribute as a conspicuous property, The facility having the attribute is extracted, and the facility that has a route longer than the current route from the current location to the destination is deleted from the extracted facilities, and a conspicuous property candidate list is created.
[0095]
And there are no facilities belonging to the specified genre among the facilities in the in-range facility list, there are no facilities where at least one of the width and height is equal to or greater than the threshold, and there are no facilities having attributes as conspicuous properties In this case, the conspicuous property candidate list creation processing means creates a conspicuous property candidate list of an empty set.
[0096]
In this way, facilities that have a route longer than a certain distance from the current location to the destination are deleted because the route that passes through the facility is deleted. In this case, it is possible to prevent the route from the current location to the destination from becoming significantly long.
[0097]
Next, a flowchart will be described.
Step S2-1-1: A search range centered on the destination is set.
Step S2-1-2: Search for facilities existing within the search range, and create a list of facilities within the range.
Step S2-1-3: It is determined whether there is a facility belonging to the specified genre. If there is a facility belonging to the specified genre, the process proceeds to step S2-1-4, and if not, the process proceeds to step S2-1-6.
Step S2-1-4: A facility belonging to the specified genre is extracted.
Step S2-1-5: Delete a facility whose route through the facility is longer than a certain distance from the current location to the destination, create a conspicuous property candidate list, and return.
Step S2-1-6: It is determined whether or not there is a facility in which at least one of the width and the height is greater than or equal to the threshold value. If there is a facility in which at least one of the width and height is equal to or greater than the threshold, the process proceeds to step S2-1-7, and if there is no facility, the process proceeds to step S2-1-8.
Step S2-1-7: A facility having a threshold value or more is extracted.
Step S2-1-8: It is determined whether there is a facility having an attribute as a conspicuous property. If there is a facility having an attribute as a conspicuous property, the process proceeds to step S2-1-9. If there is no facility, the process proceeds to step S2-1-10.
Step S2-1-9: A facility having an attribute as a conspicuous property is extracted.
Step S2-1-10 Create a candidate list of conspicuous empty sets and return.
[0098]
Next, the detailed guidance start condition establishment determination subroutine in step S9 in FIG. 3 will be described.
[0099]
FIG. 6 is a diagram showing a subroutine of detailed guidance start condition establishment judgment processing in the first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 7 shows the operation of detailed guidance start condition establishment judgment processing in the first embodiment of the present invention. It is a route diagram.
[0100]
First, the detailed guidance start condition establishment judgment processing means 96 (FIG. 1) judges whether or not the detailed guidance start condition is established.
[0101]
In this case, the detailed guidance start condition is composed of the first and second start conditions, and the detailed guidance start condition establishment judgment processing means 96 first sets the linear distance from the current location Pp to the destination Pg as the first distance. Then, the straight line distance from the conspicuous property Pf to the destination Pg is calculated as the second distance, and it is determined whether or not the first start condition is satisfied depending on whether or not the first distance is shorter than the second distance. When the first distance is shorter than the second distance, the detailed guidance start condition satisfaction determination processing unit 96 determines that the first start condition is satisfied, and the first distance is greater than or equal to the second distance. If there is, the detailed guidance start condition satisfaction determination processing means 96 determines that the first start condition is not satisfied.
[0102]
Then, when the first start condition is satisfied, a re-search processing unit (not shown) of the detailed guidance start condition satisfaction determination processing unit 96 performs a re-search process, and the route Rpg from the current position Pp to the destination Pg is set to the first. As the second route, the routes Rpf and Rfg from the current location Pp to the destination Pg via the conspicuous property Pf are searched as the second route. Therefore, the re-search processing means reads the current location Pp, the destination Pg, the conspicuous property Pf, and search data, and searches for the first and second routes based on the search data and in accordance with a predetermined search condition. Then, the first and second route data representing the first and second routes are output. The first and second route data are recorded in the RAM 32.
[0103]
In the present embodiment, the re-search processing means searches for the routes Rpf and Rfg as the second route, but the route Rfg has already been searched as the search route in the specific section search processing. It is also possible to search only the route Rpf and combine the routes Rpf and Rfg.
[0104]
Subsequently, the detailed guidance start condition establishment judgment processing means 96 determines the destination from the current location Pp based on the first and second route data and data such as vehicle speed and traffic information set corresponding to each road. The first required time to the place Pg and the second required time from the current position Pp to the destination Pg via the conspicuous property Pf are calculated, and the first required time is determined based on whether the first required time is shorter than the second required time. It is determined whether the
[0105]
In this way, the detailed guidance start condition satisfaction determination processing means 96 determines whether the first and second start conditions are satisfied, and if both the first and second start conditions are satisfied, If it is determined that the guidance start condition is satisfied and at least one of the first and second start conditions is not satisfied, it is determined that the detailed guidance start condition is not satisfied.
[0106]
In this way, when the distance from the current location Pp to the destination Pg is shorter than the distance from the conspicuous property Pf to the destination Pg, the vehicle heads directly to the destination Pg than when going to the destination Pg via the conspicuous property Pf. If it is determined that the user can arrive at the destination Pg earlier, as described above, the detailed guidance processing means 97 starts guidance for the search route Rpg from the current location Pp to the destination Pg. In this case, since the searched route Rpg is originally shorter than the searched route Rfg on which the route is guided, it is possible to reach the destination Pg with the shortest distance. Therefore, the driver can drive the vehicle comfortably to the destination Pg.
[0107]
Next, a flowchart will be described.
Step S8-1: It is determined whether the distance from the current location Pp to the destination Pg is shorter than the distance from the conspicuous property Pf to the destination Pg. If the distance from the current location Pp to the destination Pg is shorter than the distance from the conspicuous property Pf to the destination Pg, the process proceeds to step S8-2, and the distance from the current location Pp to the destination Pg is conspicuous. If it is longer than the distance, return.
Step S8-2 A re-search process is performed.
Step S8-3: Calculate the first required time from the current location Pp to the destination Pg.
Step S8-4: Calculate the second required time from the current location Pp to the destination Pg via the conspicuous property Pf.
Step S8-5: It is determined whether or not the first required time is shorter than the second required time. If the first required time is shorter than the second required time, the process proceeds to step S8-6, and if the first required time is equal to or longer than the second required time, the process returns.
Step S8-6: It is determined that the detailed guidance start condition is satisfied, and the routine returns.
[0108]
In the present embodiment, linear distances are calculated as the first and second distances, but distances on the Rpg and Rfg can also be calculated as the first and second distances. In that case, a new route search processing means (not shown) of the detailed guidance start condition establishment judgment processing means 96 performs a new route search process, searches for a route Rpg from the current location Pp to the destination Pg, and obtains route data representing the route Rpg. The data is output and recorded in the RAM 32. Subsequently, the detailed guidance start condition establishment determination processing means 96 calculates the distances on the Rpg and Rfg based on the route data representing the route Rpg and the route data representing the route Rfg.
[0109]
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described.
[0110]
FIG. 8 is a diagram showing a subroutine of detailed guidance start condition establishment determination processing in the second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 9 shows the operation of detailed guidance start condition establishment determination processing in the second embodiment of the present invention. It is a route diagram.
[0111]
First, the detailed guidance start condition establishment judgment processing means 96 (FIG. 1) reads the current location Pp, the destination Pg and the conspicuous property Pf, and starts detailed guidance based on the coordinates of the current location Pp, the destination Pg and the conspicuous property Pf. Determine whether the condition is met.
[0112]
In this case, the detailed guidance start condition consists of the first and second start conditions, and the detailed guidance start condition establishment judgment processing means 96 uses the linear distance Lpg from the current location Pp to the destination Pg as the first distance. The straight line distance Lfg from the conspicuous property Pf to the destination Pg is calculated as the second distance, and it is determined whether or not the first start condition is satisfied depending on whether or not the first distance is shorter than the second distance.
[0113]
Subsequently, the detailed guidance start condition establishment judgment processing means 96 calculates the straight line distance Lpf from the current location Pp to the conspicuous property Pf as the third distance, and determines whether the first distance is shorter than the third distance. It is determined whether the
[0114]
In this way, the detailed guidance start condition satisfaction determination processing means 96 determines whether the first and second start conditions are satisfied, and if both the first and second start conditions are satisfied, If it is determined that the guidance start condition is satisfied and at least one of the first and second start conditions is not satisfied, it is determined that the detailed guidance start condition is not satisfied.
[0115]
Subsequently, a re-search processing unit (not shown) of the detailed guidance start condition establishment determination processing unit 96 performs a re-search process to search for a route Rpg from the current location Pp to the destination Pg. Therefore, the re-search processing means reads the current location Pp and the destination Pg, searches for the route Rpg based on the search data and in accordance with a predetermined search condition, and outputs route data representing the route Rpg. . The route data is recorded in the RAM 32.
[0116]
As described above, when it is determined that the first distance is shorter than the third distance in the case where the first distance is shorter than the second distance, the current location Pp is obtained by the detailed guidance processing unit 97 as described above. Guidance on the route Rpg from to the destination Pg is started. In this case, since the route Rpg is originally shorter than the route Rfg on which the route is guided, the route Ppg can reach the destination Pg with the shortest distance. Therefore, the driver can drive the vehicle comfortably to the destination Pg.
[0117]
Next, a flowchart will be described.
Step S8-11: It is determined whether the first distance is shorter than the second distance. If the first distance is shorter than the second distance, the process proceeds to step S8-12, and if the first distance is greater than or equal to the second distance, the process returns.
Step S8-12: Calculate the third distance.
Step S8-13: Determine whether the first distance is shorter than the third distance. If the first distance is shorter than the third distance, the process proceeds to step S8-14, and if the first distance is greater than or equal to the third distance, the process returns.
Step S8-14: It is determined that the detailed guidance start condition is satisfied.
Step S8-15 Perform a re-search process and return.

【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the present invention, whether or not the detailed guidance start condition is satisfied is determined based on the positional relationship between the current location, the destination, and the conspicuous property. Guidance on the searched route from the destination to the destination is started. Therefore, when driving the vehicle to the destination, the driver does not always need to consider the guidance, and can drive the vehicle comfortably.
