Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a method for decomposing a volatile organic compound after separating the volatile organic compound from the treated water when the treated water such as groundwater or industrial wastewater contains trichlorethylene or tetrachlorethylene. It relates to a method and its apparatus.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, when water treatment such as groundwater or industrial wastewater is performed, a volatile organic compound such as trichlorethylene or tetrachloroethylene contained therein is separated from the treated water and then decomposed. Bubbling (aeration) is performed by blowing a gas such as air, and the volatile organic compound in the treated water is separated from the treated water by volatilizing the volatile organic compound in the treated water. A method of decomposing the volatile organic compound by introducing a gas containing gas to a decomposition apparatus by irradiation of ultraviolet rays or the like is employed.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in this bubbling method, in order to increase the separation rate of volatile organic compounds from the treated water, the amount of bubbling gas blown into the treated water must be increased, and a large amount of gas is handled. For this reason, there is a problem that not only an increase in the size of the entire apparatus cannot be avoided, but also an increase in noise and power consumption due to an increase in the size of a blower that pumps air.
[0004]
In addition, even though a large amount of gas is discharged from the treated water in the bubbling method, the amount of volatile organic compounds contained in this exhaust gas is very small. There is also a problem that a large apparatus and a great running cost are necessary for the decomposition processing.
[0005]
It is a technical object of the present invention to provide a volatile organic compound separation / decomposition treatment method and apparatus for solving these problems.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve this technical problem, the method of
“The treated water put in the separation vessel is irradiated with ultrasonic waves from an ultrasonic transmission vibration unit, and the volatile organic compound in the treated water is volatilized from the treated water. Bleeding out of the separation container and contacting the non-volatile liquid in which the volatile organic compound is dissolved, and then the non-volatile liquid is subjected to ultrasonic irradiation by the ultrasonic transmission vibration unit in the decomposition container. Then, after cavitation is generated, the volatile organic compound extracted from the separation container is returned to dissolution. "
Is.
[0007]
Further, the method of
“In addition to injecting gas into the treated water in the separation vessel, the ultrasonic wave generated by the ultrasonic transmission vibration unit is irradiated to volatilize the volatile organic compounds in the treated water from the treated water. The volatile organic compound is extracted out of the separation container together with the gas blown into the treated water, and contacted with a nonvolatile liquid in which the volatile organic compound is dissolved. After cavitation occurs in the decomposition container by irradiating with ultrasonic waves from the ultrasonic transmission vibration unit, the volatile organic compound extracted from the separation container is returned to dissolution, while being discharged from the decomposition container. The gas is returned to the blowing of the gas into the treated water in the separation container. ”
Is.
[0008]
[Operation and effect of the invention]
As in
[0009]
Then, the volatilized volatile organic compound is extracted outside the separation container, and the volatile organic compound from the separation container is brought into contact with the nonvolatile liquid in which the volatile organic compound is dissolved. It dissolves in a high concentration in the ionic liquid.
[0010]
Therefore, this non-volatile liquid is introduced into the decomposition container, and the non-volatile liquid is dissolved in the non-volatile liquid by generating cavitation by irradiating the ultrasonic wave by the ultrasonic transmission vibration unit in the decomposition container. The volatile organic compound is decomposed in a reaction field in a high temperature and high pressure state when bubbles generated in the cavitation are crushed and extinguished, and the volatile organic compound is decomposed in this manner. Is repeatedly used to dissolve the volatile organic compound extracted from the separation container, whereby the volatile organic compound contained in the treated water is separated from the treated water and then decomposed. It can be done reliably.
[0011]
Further, as in
[0012]
Therefore, according to the first to fourth aspects of the present invention, it is possible to eliminate the use of a gas such as air in the separation / decomposition treatment of the volatile organic compound from the treated water, or air or the like. In addition to greatly reducing the amount of gas used, the decomposition of volatile organic compounds separated from the treated water is highly efficient by generating cavitation by irradiating the non-volatile liquid in which it is dissolved with ultrasonic waves. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the size of the entire apparatus, reduce noise, and reduce power consumption.
[0013]
In particular, as described in
[0014]
Further, as described in

As is apparent from these tables, the trichlorethylene contained in the treated water can be reliably separated by irradiating the treated water with ultrasonic waves. When performing bubbling, by using ultrasonic irradiation in combination with this, even if the amount of bubbling gas blown in the treated water is reduced to about 1/6 that in the case of only the conventional bubbling method, trichlorethylene is obtained. It was possible to reliably separate at a higher rate than before.
