Description
Claims (15)
- 乗物の車輪の空気タイヤにおける空気圧又はその圧変動をモニターし、無線で送信する装置を操作する方法であり、この装置は以下車輪電子機器と称し、この方法においては、以下の各工程を具備するものであり、
− 空気タイヤにおける圧力を計測し、
− 前記計測から電子圧力信号を誘導し、
− 圧力又は圧力変動に関する情報を含む情報信号を乗物にまたはその中に設けられた受信機に送信し、
さらに以下の工程を含むものであり、
− 車輪電子機器の外部から車輪電子機器へ無線により第1の制御信号を送信し、
− 第1の制御信号により車輪電子機器を第1の操作モードにセットし、
− 車輪電子機器の外部から呼びかけ信号を発生させ、
− 無線で車輪電子機器へ呼びかけ信号を送信し、
− 呼びかけ信号の受信に応じて圧力または圧力変化を第1の操作モードのもとで測定して送信し、
そして、車輪電子機器が一つの呼び掛け信号を受信した後、所定の時間内にその他の呼び掛け信号を受信しない場合には、前記車輪電子機器は、それ自体第2の操作モードを採用し、このモードにおいて、圧力又は圧力変動を繰り返し計測し、しっかりと前もっとセットされるか又は可変の、第2の操作モードのために確立された送信レートで送信するものである方法。 - 第1の操作モードにおいて、前記圧力又は圧力の変動が内部プログラムに基づいて繰り返し計測されることを特徴とする請求項1に定義の方法。
- 第1の操作モードにおいて、呼び掛け信号に関係なく前記計測が行われることを特徴とする請求項2に定義の方法。
- 第1と第2の操作モードには、同じ計測レートが使用されることを特徴とする前記請求項のいずれかに定義の方法。
- 第1の制御信号が乗物のロックを解錠することで得られることを特徴とする前記請求項のいずれかに定義の方法。
- ラジオキイの信号又はそこから得られた信号が前記第1の制御信号となることを特徴とする請求項5に定義の方法。
- 車輪電子機器がエンジンのスイッチを切るか又は乗物の施錠を行うことで得られる第2の制御信号により第2の操作モードに設定されることを特徴とする前記請求項のいずれかに定義の方法。
- 電気信号が車輪の回転から得られ、前記車輪電子機器において得られた信号で第2の操作モードにおける発信レートがコントロールされることを特徴とする前記請求項のいずれかに定義の方法。
- 第2の操作モードにおいて、乗物が最低速度に達したとき、前記車輪電子機器が時間間隔T0をおいて信号を発信し、乗物が最低速度以下になったとき、又は、乗物が走行しなくなったときには、前記車輪電子機器が時間間隔T1>T0をおいて信号を発信することを特徴とする請求項8に定義の方法。
- 前記車輪の回転から得られた電気信号で前記時間間隔T0が変えられることを特徴とする請求項8又は請求項9に定義の方法。
- 圧力又は圧力の変動を示す信号は、前記車輪電子機器で評価され、第2の操作モードにあるとき、発信レートが圧力の変動の速度に応じて調節されることを特徴とする前記請求項のいずれかに定義の方法。
- 前記圧力の変動の速度が閾値を越えるとき、発信レートが頻繁になることを特徴とする請求項11に定義の方法。
- 第1の操作モードにおいて、圧力が所定の閾値を越える速度で変動するとき、前記車輪電子機器は、呼び掛け信号を待たずに発信することを特徴とする請求項11又は請求項12に定義の方法。
- 前記車輪電子機器は、前記車輪電子機器の外部で発生の第3の制御信号により第3の操作モードに設定され、このモードにあっては、第1の制御信号を受けるか、又は、自動車が最低速度に達したときにあっては、第3の操作モードから再び離れ、第1又は第2の操作モードに戻ることを特徴とする請求項9と組み合わされて前記請求項のいずれかに定義の方法。
- 第3の操作モードにおいては、圧力及び圧力の変動のいずれをも計測しないことを特徴とする請求項14に定義の方法。
