Claims (3)
- 設定転入力を有するとともに、このバルブポジショナへの弁棒位置フィードバックに応答して、流体制御弁の弁座に対して弁棒および弁体を駆動および位置決めするための駆動圧力に対応するバルブアクチエータ制御のための駆動信号を提供する、マイクロプロセッサベースのバルブポジショナにおいて、上記弁棒または弁体または弁座の起こり得る損傷の指示を提供する方法であって、
駆動信号を監視する工程と、
上記設定値が変わらない状態における安定駆動圧力からの所定の変化を検出するために、バルブアクチエータへの駆動圧力を監視する工程と、
上記設定値が変わらない状態における安定弁棒位置フィードバックからの所定の変化を検出するために、バルブポジショナへの弁棒位置フィードバックを監視する工程と、
安定駆動圧力および弁棒位置フィードバックの変化のうちの少なくとも一方が検出された場合に弁棒/弁体/弁座の異変の指示を提供する工程と、
弁棒/弁体/弁座の異変の指示に応答し、プロセス値の変化を検出するために該プロセス値の監視を開始する工程と、
プロセス値の変化の検出に応答して警報を発し、それにより、可能性のある弁棒の破損または損傷した弁体もしくは弁座を指示する工程とを含んでなる、弁棒または弁体または弁座に起こり得る損傷の指示を提供する方法。 - 上記プロセス値を監視する工程がプロセスの流量を監視することを含んでなる請求項1記載の方法。
- 上記プロセス流量の監視が、設定値の値に対するプロセス流量の関係を監視し、且つ、設定値が変化しない状態における上記関係の変化を検出することを含んでなる請求項2記載の方法。
