【0001】
これらナースコール親機とナースコール子機との間の通信は、PHS(Personal Handy-phone System)等の無線により行われるのが一般的である。
【0003】

【0028】
コンテンツ対応PHS端末402は、Java(米国サンマイクロシステム社がC++をベースに開発したオブジェクト指向型プログラミング言語)実行環境等を搭載するマルチタスク(同時に複数のプログラムが実行可能)実行可能な端末である。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a nursing support method and apparatus, and more particularly to a nursing support technique suitable for emergency communication between an inpatient and a nurse (nurse) such as a nurse call system in a medical institution including a hospital.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Nursing support devices (hereinafter sometimes referred to as nurse call systems) are widely used for emergency communication between hospitalized persons and nurses in hospitals, health facilities, special elderly facilities, and the like. In general, a nurse call system includes at least a nurse call parent device installed at a nurse station and a plurality of nurse call child devices installed at the bedside of an inpatient. Communication between the nurse call master unit and the nurse call slave unit is generally performed by radio such as PHS (Personal Handy-phone System).
[0003]
In such a nurse call system, when a nurse call cordless handset that is a receiving terminal for receiving a notification of a nurse call is busy, an interrupt tone is sent to the nurse call cordless handset, and a receiver (ie, nurse, etc.) is sent. ) And disconnecting the call, a nurse call can be made.
However, if the nurse call cordless handset supports data communication and performs operations such as displaying content on the terminal screen, the nurse call is called during data communication and an interrupt tone is sent to the call. It is not possible to notify the recipient of the nurse call by the conventional method. Nurse call calls in medical institutions such as hospitals are highly urgent and must be avoided.
[0004]
There is a document disclosing the prior art of a nurse call system. When one of the portable nurse call master units carried by the nurse and one of the nurse call slave units is busy, the busy detection circuit of the main device detects that the call is in progress. Calls from other nurse call slaves that are not busy are reported to the nurse call master and other portable nurse call masters that are not busy, and the call is displayed promptly. A nurse call device for carrying out various nursing tasks is disclosed (for example, see Patent Document 1). Also, a highly convenient nurse call device that includes a character notification device and can transmit and receive character messages via a wireless or wired transmission path is disclosed (for example, see Patent Document 2).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, according to the prior art, if the nurse call slave unit is compatible with data communication and performs operations such as displaying content on the display screen of the terminal, even if a nurse call is called during data communication, The conventional method of sending an interrupt tone to a call cannot notify the recipient of a nurse call. That is, there has been a problem that the use of the data communication compatible terminal is restricted. Calling a nurse call in a medical institution or the like is generally urgent, and it is necessary to avoid such a situation.
[0007]
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the prior art, and there is no limitation on the use of a data communication-compatible terminal for content display or the like as a receiving terminal, and a nursing support method and apparatus that can respond quickly The purpose is to provide.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems, the nursing support method and apparatus according to the present invention employs the following characteristic configuration.
[0009]
(1) In a nursing support method in which an inpatient of a medical institution including a hospital uses a nurse call cordless handset in an emergency,
The busy state of the receiving terminal of the nurse call is detected, it is determined whether the receiving terminal is performing data communication such as voice communication or content display, and the nurse call is called preferentially by interrupting the data communication. A nursing support method that displays a message to the effect and notifies a nurse or the like.
[0010]
(2) The nursing support method according to (1), wherein the nurse call receiving terminal is a local PHS terminal, and a display indicating that there is a nurse call is displayed at a conspicuous position on a display screen of the local PHS terminal.
[0011]
(3) The nursing support method according to (1) or (2) above, wherein the indication that the nurse call has been called draws the receiver's attention on the display screen of the local PHS terminal by characters of a specific color or blinking.
[0012]
(4) In a nursing support device in which an inpatient of a medical institution including a hospital uses a nurse call cordless handset to call a nurse or the like in an emergency,
A telephone exchange main device connected to an external device such as a multifunction telephone or a content server, a nurse call parent device connected to the telephone exchange main device and connected to a plurality of nurse call slave devices, the nurse, etc. A local PHS base station that communicates wirelessly with the local PHS terminal carried by the
The telephone exchange main unit includes a telephone exchange processing unit, and determines whether data communication or voice communication is performed when the nurse call receiving terminal is busy, and displays a nurse call call display during data communication.
[0013]
(5) The nursing support apparatus according to (4), wherein the local PHS base station includes a local PHS base station for a local PHS terminal that supports data communication and does not support data communication.
[0014]

[0015]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the configuration and operation of a preferred embodiment of the nursing support method and apparatus according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0016]
First, FIG. 1 shows a system configuration diagram of a preferred embodiment of a nurse call system which is a nursing support apparatus according to the present invention. This nurse call system includes a telephone exchange main unit 100, a nurse

[0021]
However, when the nurse call reception terminal (corresponding to data communication) 107 is used as the reception terminal and the content communication is busy (during communication), notification using the interrupt tone described above cannot be performed. Therefore, the telephone exchange main device 100 determines the reason for busy (busy due to a call or busy due to data communication). Then, when it is recognized that the data communication such as content display is busy, the external device (content server or the like) 110 is notified.
[0022]
FIG. 2 shows a display example of the display screen of the local PHS terminal 107 in the above-described state. As shown in FIG. 2, for example, “Nurse Call Call, Room 101 A”, a notification message for notifying “Nurse Call Call” along with “Caller Name” is automatically and preferentially inserted into the content. This makes it possible to notify the recipient of a nurse call.

[0027]
In the above-described preferred embodiment of the present invention, the timing for changing the screen display according to the specification is the time when the user accesses the content server, and cannot be synchronized with the time when the nurse call is called. For this reason, even if the notification of “nursing call” is displayed on the screen, it may be considered that the call has actually ended. Then, with reference to FIG. 4, other embodiment of the nursing assistance apparatus by this invention is described. The nursing support apparatus in FIG. 4 includes a content-

The configuration and operation of the preferred embodiment of the nursing support method and apparatus according to the present invention have been described above in detail. However, such an embodiment is merely an example of the present invention and does not limit the present invention. Those skilled in the art will readily understand that various modifications and changes can be made according to a specific application without departing from the gist of the present invention.
[0032]
【The invention's effect】
As understood from the above description, according to the nursing support method and apparatus of the present invention, the following remarkable effects in practical use can be obtained. According to the conventional technology, when a terminal corresponding to data communication performs data communication mainly for content display and there is a nurse call call, the receiver receives an interrupt tone that notifies the nurse call call. I could not. For this reason, there is a limit to the use of a terminal that supports data communication as a terminal that receives a highly urgent nurse call used in a medical institution or the like. However, according to the present invention, when a data communication-compatible terminal capable of displaying content is used as a nurse call cordless handset, even if the terminal is in data communication, the terminal status (during a call or data communication) When the data communication is in progress, a notification message indicating that there is a preferential call to the nurse call is inserted into the display content and displayed on the screen. As a result, it is possible to eliminate restrictions on terminals used for the nursing support device.
