Description
前記説明した手段によってインペラ1の磁石14と磁気駆動装置3の磁石31とのマグネットギャップを異ならせた血液ポンプを準備し、インペラの回転速度とインペラの回転軸の頂部すなわち上部ピボットの頂部の公転直径(revolutional diameter)との関係を測定した。その結果を図11に示している。公転直径は上部ピボットの頂部の振れ回りを表わしており、小さい方が好ましい。図11は公転直径を最小とするマグネットギャップがインペラの回転速度に応じて異なっており、回転数が高くなると、マグネットギャップを小さくした方がよいことを示している。図11において星印マークは磁気駆動装置の磁石の回転トルクがインペラの磁石に伝達できなくなる状態すなわち脱調(de-coupling) が生じたことを示すもので、マグネットギャップが大きい場合に脱調が生じ易い。

Claims (4)
- インペラと、吸入口及び吐出口を備えインペラを回転可能に収容するケーシングと、ケーシングの外側に配置された磁気駆動装置とからなり、前記インペラは、回転対称形であり、ポンプ機能をもつ羽根と複数の磁気装置とを備え、前記磁気駆動装置はインペラの上記磁気装置と協働してインペラを回転させ、前記インペラの回転軸の少なくとも下端部がピボットとピボット軸受とにより支持され、前記ピボットがセラミックスで形成され、前記ピボット軸受が高密度ポリエチレンで形成されており、前記複数の磁気装置は前記ピボットの側方にそれぞれ配置されていることを特徴とする血液ポンプ。
- 前記インペラの回転軸の軸方向における前記羽根の長さが、前記回転軸側から前記インペラの側端部側に向かうにつれて漸次小さくなっている請求項1に記載の血液ポンプ。
- 回転対称形であり、ポンプ機能をもつ羽根と複数の磁気装置とを有するインペラと、吸入口及び吐出口を有し、前記インペラを回転可能に収容するケーシングと、を備えた血液ポンプ用部品であって、前記インペラの回転軸の少なくとも下端部がピボットとピボット軸受とにより支持され、前記複数の磁気装置が前記ケーシングの外側に配置される磁気駆動装置と協働することにより前記インペラが回転するように構成されており、前記ピボットがセラミックスで形成され、前記ピボット軸受が高密度ポリエチレンで形成されており、前記複数の磁気装置は前記ピボットの側方にそれぞれ配置されていることを特徴とする血液ポンプ用部品。
- 前記インペラの回転軸の軸方向における前記羽根の長さが、前記回転軸側から前記インペラの側端部側に向かうにつれて漸次小さくなっている請求項3に記載の血液ポンプ用部品。
