技術分野
本発明は熱可塑性プラスチックによるまたは熱可塑性プラスチック塗膜を有する導電性包装材の封止または加熱時に使用する誘電器に関し、この誘電器は高周波電流源に接続される電流導体を含む。
発明の背景
誘電技術は少なくとも1層の金属フォイル、好ましくはアルミニウムフォイルを含む熱可塑性プラスチック塗膜を有する包装材の封止時に有利に使用できる。このような誘電器が使用されることにより、金属フォイルに熱が発生し熱可塑性プラスチックを溶融する。封止を行うために誘電器はドリー(dolly)と共に使用される。
封止は、包装体を形成する包装材をその装置の設計に依って段階的または連続的に給送する方法で行われる。短時間ドリー上に包装材を静止させて、誘電器を包装材に適用して励起し、それにより熱可塑性プラスチックを溶融する。誘電器とドリー間で溶融した熱可塑性樹脂に機械的圧力を加えることにより2層の包装材間を封止する。
従来既知技術よれば、導体は例えばプラスチック含有フェライトにキャストした銅心線で構成される。
この誘電器の臨界特性は、封止作業時の高周波電流にもかかわず相当に低い作業温度で電流導体を維持する、即ち、電流導体を冷却できる可能性にある。従来既知の誘電器において、電流導体は水で直接冷却された銅管で形成されている。この設計は機械的負荷に対して非常に敏感であり、かつライフスパンが銅管/電流導体の圧潰により短い。
この理由から、既知導体は比較的柔質ドリーに対して働き、その電流導体は充分な機械的締付け力を得るために隆起部を有していた。
新規包装材の封止、例えば熱可塑性プラスチック塗膜の板材の封止時、および製品、取扱の困難な例えば粘着性の高い製品の充填時に、機械的負荷に対応する可能性を有するより一層強力な誘電器に対する要求がある。この要求を従来タイプの誘電器で達成することは困難である。
本発明
上記および他の問題を解決するために、かつ改良された特性を有しかつ既知誘電器よりも広範囲に使用できる誘電器を開発するために、本発明による誘電器は電流導体が粉末金属材料から成る胴体に一体化され、粉末金属の顆粒が電気絶縁表面層を有することを特徴とする。
粉末金属材料は酸化鉄の表面層を有する鉄の顆粒により構成されるのが好ましい。この粉末金属材料は、また、少量、例えば0.5%のフェノールベース結合剤等のプラスチックベースの結合剤を含む。
圧縮状態において、この粉末金属材料は優れた機械的特性、使用周波数で高い透磁率、小磁化損失性、良好な熱伝導性、および高い温度抵抗力を有する。
本発明による誘電器における電流導体は水等による直接的冷却を必要としない。これは、導体が、通常、銅による均質ロッドで形成できることを意味し、この均質ロッドはそれ自体誘電器の機械的負荷に耐える能力を高める。冷却は間接的に行われ、熱が粉末金属材料により効果的に誘導される。ただし、特定条件下で格別冷却が必要であれば、より広い幅の冷却管が誘電器の本体内に設けられてよく、それによりブロッキングのリスクが高められる。
本発明による誘電器は上述のごとく、従来既知誘電器よりも相当に高い負荷に耐える可能性を有する。これは、新型包装材およびより一層困難な製品が使用される場合に必要とされる硬質ドリーの使用を可能にする。ライフスパンは相当に長くなる。
本発明の新規誘電器は突合せ切断の採用を可能にする。この誘電器の改良された機械的強度は材料の組合わせに対して新しい可能性を開く。
粉末金属材料は比較的低廉であり、製造工程(挿入された電流導体と粉末金属材料をプレスする)は合理的である。

実施形態の詳細な説明
本発明による誘電器は単純化された形態の電流導体1を含み、電流導体1は粉末金属材料による本体2へ圧着され、粉末金属材料の顆粒は電気絶縁表面層を有する。電流導体1は図面に示されたようにU形に形成されてよく、電流導体1を高周波電流源に接続するための接点3を本体2から突出した端部に有する。電流導体1は、適宜、本体2の表面上に僅かに突出し、かつ平面的であってよい。
電流導体1は均質銅で形成されるのが好ましく、これは導電抵抗損失を相対的に少なくするが、良好な導電性を有する他の材料が同様に使用できる。電流導体1は薄い導電性ラッカー層を有するのが好ましい。
金属本体2の材料は粉末金属材料で構成され、導電性鉄材料の顆粒は高圧下で圧縮後に均質体にされ、相互に電気的に隔離され、電気絶縁層、即ち、酸化鉄層を表面上に形成する。粉末金属材料は、また、少量、例えば0.5%の結合剤を含む。この結合剤は例えばフェノールベースである。
最も簡単な形態の本発明による誘電器は、導体1を金属粉末を充填した1形態上に設置し、次いで共にプレスし、金属顆粒の電気絶縁特性を損なうことなく一体化して誘電器にする。金属顆粒の表面層の絶縁特性を維持するために、金属粉末を最小範囲まで処理または加工する。
本体2の金属材料に関する次の要件は使用材料により充分達成される。

使用された粉末材料は、例えば

の良好な熱伝導率を有し、これは現在の誘電器設計に使用される材料よりも良く、約15倍である。更に、この粉末金属材料はμr>25のごとき高い透磁率を有し、この値は現在使用されているプラスチック材料よりも良好であり、10倍以上である。
電流導体の間接的冷却により、導体形成に大きな自由度がある。
* 電流導体の自由形態はその温度および圧力の制御を可能にする。
* 電流導体または数巻回の電流ソレノイドは効率の改良に通じる(エネルギ発生を相当に改良する)
* 選択的に電流導体は多数通しにして、効率を上げることができる。
* 粉末金属材料の高い透磁率は、一般的金属材料が実質的電力損失を伴うことなく電流導体に相当に密接に使用できることを意味する。
添付図面により形成された誘電器の実験は、冷却管および冷却水を使用する場合および使用しない場合について、次の良好な結果を得た。
− 4l/分の冷却水で間接的に冷却された誘電器は約28℃の安定温度を維持、
− 1l/分の冷却水で間接的に冷却された誘電器は約29℃の安定温度を維持、
− 水冷しない誘電器は約50℃の安定温度を維持、
上述のごとく、誘電器の設計は変更可能である。
例えば、誘電器を金属または可能であれば、プラスチックのU形細片として形成することができ、粉末金属材料および電流導体はその細片内に配置されてよい。冷却管は細片の下に設置できる。
他のそして更に興味深い設計が可能であり、一方で電気的に絶縁されていない通常の金属粉末(例えば10mm厚に形成)そして他方で電気的に絶縁した顆粒から成る粉末金属材料を電流導体と一緒にプレスして1形態にすることができる。
一般的に、異なる材料の組合わせが可能であり、かつ電気的に絶縁された顆粒から成る粉末金属材料はその優れた電気的かつ磁気的特性により相当に制限された厚みであってよい。
本発明の誘電器はプラスチック層または同様層を腐食保護層として表面上に有していてよい。
本発明による誘電器は、導電層、通常は、金属フォイルを伴った熱可塑性プラスチック塗膜を有する包装材料の封止(または他の加熱)に使用される。ただし、包装材料は導電性熱可塑性プラスチックであってよい。
本発明は包装材料用の使途について説明したが、これに限定されない。

Claims (7)

  1. 熱可塑性プラスチックによるまたは熱可塑性プラスチック塗膜を有する導電性包装材料を誘電により加熱封止するために使用する誘電器であって、
    本体(2)を形成する、酸化鉄の電気絶縁表面層を有する鉄の顆粒および結合剤を含む粉末金属材料と共に、プレスして本体(2)一体化された、高周波電流源に接続できる構成の電流導体(1)を含むことを特徴とする誘電器。
  2. 前記粉末金属材料は約0.5%オーダーの少量のフェノールベースの結合剤を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1の誘電器。
  3. 前記電流導体(1)はU形均質ロッドで構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1の誘電器。
  4. 前記電流導体(1)は数回巻いたソレノイドで構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1の誘電器。
  5. 前記電流導体(1)は多数通されていることを特徴とする、請求項1の誘電器。
  6. 冷却水を循環させるための冷却管が前記粉末金属材料による前記本体内に設置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1の誘電器。
  7. 前記粉末金属材料と前記電流導体は、電気絶縁されていない通常の金属粉末と共にプレスすることにより一体化されていることを特徴とする、請求項1の誘電器。
