Description
また、本発明は、爆発の危険性を持つヒドロペルオキシド化合物を、反応系内に蓄積することなく、極めて簡単な装置ならびに操作により、低温、低圧という穏和な反応条件下で、目的物を得ることができ、また、触媒の繰り返し使用や無溶媒条件下での反応を可能とすることにより、工業産廃や工業廃液等の後処理を不要とし、著しく低コストで、かつ極めて工業的利用価値の高い、脂肪族飽和モノカルボン酸及び/又は脂肪族飽和ジカルボン酸の製造方法を提供することを目的とするものである。
(1)反応基質の、炭素鎖中に1ヶ所以上の不飽和結合を有する炭素鎖が6〜30の脂肪族不飽和カルボン酸又は脂肪族オレフィン系炭化水素を、分子状酸素含有ガスを用いて、酸化開裂反応させ、対応する脂肪族飽和モノカルボン酸及び/又は脂肪族飽和ジカルボン酸を製造する酸化開裂反応において、触媒として、骨格構造の一部が遷移金属により置換されているAlPO−5系ゼオライト又はMFI系ゼオライトからなる遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒を用いることを特徴とする脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
(2)遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒が、一般式(R4N+)(OH−)(H2O)x〔Al12P12O48〕(式中、R4N+は第四級アンモニウム塩、xは整数)で表されるAlPO−5系ゼオライト、又は一般式Nan(H2O)16〔AlnSi96−nO192〕(式中、nは0≦n<27である整数)で表されるMFI系ゼオライトに相当する構造を有し、骨格構造の一部が、他の遷移金属により置換されている遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒である、前記(1)に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
(3)骨格置換を行う遷移金属が、コバルト、マンガン、鉄、ニッケル、バナジウム、モリブデン、クロム、ニオブ、タンタルから選択された1種以上である遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒を用いる、前記(1)に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
(4)骨格置換を行う遷移金属が、コバルトあるいはマンガンであり、そのゼオライト触媒に対する含有率が0.1〜5重量%である遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒を用いる、前記(1)に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
(5)骨格置換を行うために用いる遷移金属の仕込み量が、出発原料であるゼオライトに対して、0.2〜20重量%である遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒を用いる、前記(1)に記載のカルボン酸の製造方法。
(6)酸素雰囲気下で、200〜700℃の温度条件で焼成することにより、ゼオライト骨格中に導入された遷移金属を、より高酸化な電子状態に活性化した遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒を用いる、前記(1)に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
(7)遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒と、脂肪族不飽和カルボン酸又は脂肪族オレフィン系炭化水素、ならびに分子状酸素ガスを、10〜150℃の温度条件下で、液相反応により接触させる、前記(1)に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
(8)遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒の使用量が、反応基質に対して、0.1〜50重量%である、前記(1)に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
本発明は、遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒ならびに分子状酸素ガスを用いて、当該触媒の有する、細孔構造に由来する形状選択性効果に基づく、オレフィン類の化学構造に対する高度な認識能を有効に利用して、下記の反応により、脂肪族不飽和カルボン酸又は脂肪族オレフィン系炭化水素から対応する脂肪族飽和カルボン酸へと酸化開裂させることを特徴とするものである。
本製造例では、Co−ALPO−5ゼオライト触媒を以下の方法により合成した。
イオン交換水31.3gに、オルトリン酸(ナカライタクス社製、試薬特級)11.55gを加え、完全に溶解するまで攪拌した。これを、氷水(0℃)で冷却し、硝酸コバルト六水和物(和光純薬製、試薬特級)2.33gを加えて完全に溶解するまで攪拌した。次に、擬ベーマイト(キャタパルアルミナ社製、SCC−30、75%アルミナ)6.25gを加えて完全に溶解するまで攪拌した。更に、トリエチルアミン(国産化学社製、試薬特級)7.2gを、一滴ずつゆっくりと加え、完全に溶解するまで攪拌した。この間の操作は、全て氷水(0℃)で冷却しながら行った。
本製造例では、Co−MFIゼオライト触媒を以下の方法により合成した。
固体水酸化ナトリウム1.2gを、蒸留水150gに溶解させた後、撹拌しながらコロイダルシリカ水溶液(触媒化成工業(株)製、CATALOID SI−30、SiO2 30%,Na2O 0.38%)60.0gを添加した。次いで、塩化コバルト6水和物1.5gを25gの蒸留水に溶解させた溶液を添加し、更に、有機構造規定剤として、テトラプロピルアンモニウムブロミド7.99gを添加して、pH11.9の水熱合成用のスラリーとした。得られたスラリーに、テトラエチルアンモニウムヒドロキサイドを添加して、pH13.4に調整し、テフロン(登録商標)内筒を有するオートクレーブ中にて170℃で4日間反応させた後、ろ過洗浄を行った。得られたNa型のCo−MFIを、0.1Nの塩酸にて1晩処理を行い、550℃にて22時間焼成して有機物を除去し、反応用の触媒とした。
本製造例では、Mn−MFIゼオライト触媒を以下の方法により合成した。
固体水酸化ナトリウム1.2gを、蒸留水150gに溶解させた後、撹拌しながらコロイダルシリカ水溶液(触媒化成工業(株)製、CATALOID SI−30、SiO2 30%,Na2O 0.38%)60.0gを添加した。次いで、塩化マンガン4水和物1.2gを25gの蒸留水に溶解させた溶液を添加し、更に、有機構造規定剤として、テトラプロピルアンモニウムブロミド7.99gを添加して、pH11.9水熱合成用のスラリーとした。得られたスラリーに、テトラエチルアンモニウムヒドロキサイドを更に添加して、pH13.4に調整し、テフロン(登録商標)内筒を有するオートクレーブ中にて、170℃で4日間反応させた後、ろ過洗浄を行った。得られたNa型のMn−MFIを更に0.1Nの塩酸にて1晩処理を行い、550℃にて22時間焼成して有機物を除去し、反応用の触媒とした。
Claims (8)
- 反応基質の、炭素鎖中に1ヶ所以上の不飽和結合を有する炭素鎖が6〜30の脂肪族不飽和カルボン酸又は脂肪族オレフィン系炭化水素を、分子状酸素含有ガスを用いて、酸化開裂反応させ、対応する脂肪族飽和モノカルボン酸及び/又は脂肪族飽和ジカルボン酸を製造する酸化開裂反応において、触媒として、骨格構造の一部が遷移金属により置換されているAlPO−5系ゼオライト又はMFI系ゼオライトからなる遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒を用いることを特徴とする脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
- 遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒が、一般式(R4N+)(OH−)(H2O)x〔Al12P12O48〕(式中、R4N+は第四級アンモニウム塩、xは整数)で表されるAlPO−5系ゼオライト、又は一般式Nan(H2O)16〔AlnSi96−nO192〕(式中、nは0≦n<27である整数)で表されるMFI系ゼオライトに相当する構造を有し、骨格構造の一部が、他の遷移金属により置換されている遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒である、請求項1に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
- 骨格置換を行う遷移金属が、コバルト、マンガン、鉄、ニッケル、バナジウム、モリブデン、クロム、ニオブ、タンタルから選択された1種以上である遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒を用いる、請求項1に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
- 骨格置換を行う遷移金属が、コバルトあるいはマンガンであり、そのゼオライト触媒に対する含有率が0.1〜5重量%である遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒を用いる、請求項1に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
- 骨格置換を行うために用いる遷移金属の仕込み量が、出発原料であるゼオライトに対して、0.2〜20重量%である遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒を用いる、請求項1に記載のカルボン酸の製造方法。
- 酸素雰囲気下で、200〜700℃の温度条件で焼成することにより、ゼオライト骨格中に導入された遷移金属を、より高酸化な電子状態に活性化した遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒を用いる、請求項1に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
- 遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒と、脂肪族不飽和カルボン酸又は脂肪族オレフィン系炭化水素、ならびに分子状酸素ガスを、10〜150℃の温度条件下で、液相反応により接触させる、請求項1に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
- 遷移金属骨格置換型ゼオライト触媒の使用量が、反応基質に対して、0.1〜50重量%である、請求項1に記載の脂肪族飽和カルボン酸の製造方法。
