Description
Claims (7)
- エアバッグ(24)と、
前記エアバッグ(24)を膨張させることと、前記エアバッグの展開の速さの低下に基づいて前記エアバッグの膨張を減速させることとを、選択的に行うためのエアバッグインフレータ(26)と、
前記エアバッグ(24)の展開の速さを求めるセンサ(36;36a,36b,36c,36d)と、
前記エアバッグ(24)に接続された少なくとも1つの細片(34;34a,34b,34c,34d)であって、前記センサ(36;36a,36b,36c,36d)は前記細片の速さを求めて前記エアバッグの展開の速さを求め、前記少なくとも1つの細片(34;34a,34b,34c,34d)は、前記細片の速さに基づいて変化する周波数を前記センサ(36;36a,36b,36c,36d)に発生するパターンを含んでいる、少なくとも1つの細片(34;34a,34b,34c,34d)と、
前記センサ(36;36a,36b,36c,36d)からの信号に周波数領域変換を行い、前記周波数領域変換を解析して、前記エアバッグ(24)が乗員に接触したか否かを判定するコントローラ(30)と、
を有する乗物エアバッグシステム。 - 前記コントローラ(30)は、前記センサ(36;36a,36b,36c,36d)からの信号のウオルシュ変換を行う、請求項1に記載の乗物エアバッグシステム。
- 前記コントローラ(30)は、前記エアバッグ(24)が乗員に接触したか否かを、前記センサ(36;36a,36b,36c,36d)からの周波数の変化を解析することによって判定する、請求項2に記載の乗物エアバッグシステム。
- (a)エアバッグ(24)の展開の速さを解析するステップと、
(b)前記エアバッグ(24)がアウトオブポジションの乗員に接触したか否かを判定するステップと、
(c)前記ステップ(b)に基づいてエアバッグ(24)を、膨張を止め、または膨張を続けるように制御するステップと、
を、コンピュータによって実行された時に行うコンピュータプログラムを格納している、コンピュータ読取り可能な媒体(30)をさらに含んでいる、請求項1に記載の乗物エアバッグシステム。 - 前記コンピュータ読取り可能な媒体(30)は、
(d)前記エアバッグ(24)の展開の速さを示す信号を受信するステップと、
(e)前記ステップ(b)を行うために、前記信号の周波数成分を解析するステップと、
をさらに行う、請求項4に記載の乗物エアバッグシステム。 - 前記コンピュータが読取り可能な媒体(30)は、
(f)前記ステップ(e)における前記信号の周波数成分を解析するために、周波数領域変換を行うステップ、
をさらに行う、請求項5に記載の乗物エアバッグシステム。 - 前記周波数領域変換はウオルシュ変換である、請求項6に記載の乗物エアバッグシステム。
