Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a motorcycle in which a cable is supported on a frame member of a body frame.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in order to hold a cable such as an electrical equipment harness (wiring) or an outer tube of a brake wire on a motorcycle body frame, these cables are placed in a state of being substantially parallel to the frame member. Both are performed by binding them with a belt-like holding member. The frame member is generally formed of a pipe, and an operator temporarily holds the cable by hand so that the cable does not fall off when the cable is tied with the holding member. That is, the operator is performing the binding work with the holding member with the other hand while pressing the cable against the frame member with one hand.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the conventional motorcycle configured as described above, it is necessary to temporarily hold the cable so that it does not fall off when the cable is held by the frame member, so that the cable wiring work becomes complicated. There was a problem.
Further, since the cable protrudes from the outer surface of the frame member, when other components are disposed close to the frame member, the mounting position of the components is restricted in order to avoid interference with the cable. Moreover, since the cable is exposed to the outside of the frame member, the coating may be damaged by contact with other components.
[0004]
The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and when the cable is held along the frame member, the cable can be easily wired, and other parts can be attached by the cable. The object is to be able to protect the cable without being restricted in position.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve this object, a motorcycle according to the present invention has a frame member formed in a U-shaped cross section that opens upward by die casting, and is formed by a U-shaped section of the frame member. A cable is wired in the concave groove, and a battery storage box consisting of a box opening upward is integrally formed on the frame member by die casting, so that the frame member is paired in the vehicle width direction. The battery storage box is formed as a cross member that connects the pair of left and right frame members.
The cable according to the present invention refers to a wiring for electrical connection and a wire for mechanical connection.
[0006]
According to the present invention, the cable can be temporarily held by the frame member by inserting the cable into the concave groove of the frame member. Moreover, the inside of the concave groove formed in order to maintain strength inherently is a dead space, and a cable is wired in this dead space. Furthermore, the cable wired in the concave groove is protected by being surrounded by a frame member on three sides.
[0007]
In the motorcycle according to the present invention, the frame member is formed so that the concave groove is opened upward, and the battery storage box is formed integrally with the frame member. It can be wired by inserting it into the concave groove of the member from above .

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the cable can be temporarily held by the frame member by inserting the cable into the groove of the frame member. For example, when the cable is fixed to the frame member by the holding member, the cable Does not have to be held by hand. This simplifies the wiring work and improves the work efficiency.
Further, the concave groove is a dead space that is formed as a result of forming the U-shaped cross section in order to improve the rigidity of the frame member, and since the cable is wired in this dead space, the space around the frame member is reduced. Without being narrowed by the cable, it is possible to improve the degree of freedom of the mounting position of the components provided in the vicinity of the frame member.
[0037]
Furthermore, the cable routed in the concave groove is protected by being surrounded by a frame member on the three sides, and it is not rubbed by other parts and the coating is not broken. Can do.
[0038]
Further , according to the present invention , since the cable connected to the battery can be inserted into the recessed groove of the frame member from above and wired, a relatively thick and difficult-to-handle cable for feeding can be easily wired. . For this reason, the efficiency of wiring work can be further improved.
