Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an automotive lamp mounting structure, and more particularly to an automotive lamp mounting structure that is directly mounted to an opening of a front bumper.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Some automobile lamps, such as fog lamps, are mounted in openings formed in the front surface of the front bumper. In the case of this type of lamp, the lamp is not attached directly to the opening but attached to the opening of the front bumper via a bracket.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since the bracket and the lamp are only adjusted in the vertical direction, they may not be mounted in the preferred position. Even if the folding lamp design is good, it does not match the shape of the bumper and gives an unmatched impression. Improvement is desired.
[0004]
The present invention has been made in response to such a demand, and provides an automobile lamp mounting structure that facilitates fine adjustment of the mounting angle of the lamp when the lamp is mounted.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to a first aspect of the present invention, first elongated holes are formed in the left and right side portions of the lamp housing along the vertical direction, and a nut plate is provided on the back side of the first elongated hole so as to be movable up and down. The support lever bent downward from both ends of the first is formed into a curved cross-sectional shape along a horizontal arc around the middle point of the left and right first elongated holes, and the support lever bent in the front-rear direction along the lower end of the support lever. 2 long holes are formed, a curved surface matching the curved cross-sectional shape of the support lever is formed between the first long hole on the left and right side surfaces of the housing and the second long hole of the support lever, and a through hole is formed A screw inserted through the second elongated hole is inserted through the spacer and the through hole and the first elongated hole of the spacer are screwed into the nut plate in the housing.
[0006]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the first elongated hole along the vertical direction and the curved second elongated hole along the front-rear direction can be adjusted only by adjusting the swinging movement in the vertical direction around the screw. In addition, since the parallel movement position adjustment in the vertical direction and the swing rotation adjustment in the left-right direction can be performed, fine adjustment of the lamp mounting position during lamp mounting is easy.
[0007]
The invention according to claim 2 is the mounting structure of the automobile lamp according to claim 1,
A rear-facing L-shaped rib formed on the rear surface of the side surface of the housing and a forward rib formed on the rear cover attached in a state of being inserted into the rear surface of the side surface of the housing. A moving space is partitioned and formed.
[0008]
According to the invention described in claim 2, since the vertical movement space of the nut plate is defined in the housing, the vertical movement of the nut plate can be performed smoothly and the state of the nut plate is stabilized. On the other hand, it is easy to perform the work of screwing the screws first.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. In the following description, among the lamps mounted on the left and right sides, only the left side lamp in the traveling direction of the automobile will be described as a representative.
[0010]
Reference numeral 1 denotes a front bumper of an automobile, which has a curved shape in which both side portions in the vehicle width direction are slightly lowered rearward from the central portion as a whole. Therefore, the front surface portion 2 of the front bumper 1 is slightly inclined at the left and right side portions (see FIG. 2). Further, the front surface portion 2 is gently curved also in the vertical direction (see FIG. 3), and is in a curved state in which the highest vertex L at the center of the top and bottom protrudes forward from both upper and lower end portions. That is, in the vicinity of both left and right ends of the front surface portion 2 of the front bumper 1, the surface is curved with an inclination in the vehicle width direction and has a predetermined curvature with the central portion curved slightly forward in the vertical direction.
[0011]
A generally oval opening 3 is formed in the front surface portion 2 near the left and right sides of the front bumper 1. A fog lamp is attached as a lamp 4 in the opening 3. The lamp 4 incorporates a discharge-type light source. A lens 6 is attached to the front surface of the housing 5, and the rear surface is closed by a detachable rear cover 7. The surface curvature of the lens 6 matches the surface curvature of the front surface portion 2 of the front bumper 1 except for the peripheral end portion 6a. Accordingly, the lens 6 of the lamp 4 of this embodiment is easy to manufacture because it is not formed with a highly accurate surface curvature up to the peripheral end 6a.
[0012]
The left and right side surface portions 8 of the housing 5 are formed with first elongated holes 9 along the vertical direction. A rib 10 having a rearward L-shaped cross section is formed on the back surface of the side surface portion 8 in which the first elongated hole 9 is formed. On the other hand, the rear cover 7 is in a state of entering the back surface side of the side surface portion 8, and the rear cover 7 is formed with forward ribs 11 facing the L-side ribs 10. The ribs 10 and 11 define a vertically moving space which is continuous in the same cross section in the vertical direction with a gap S (see FIG. 4) partially remaining, and a nut is formed in the vertically moving space P. Plate 12 is set.
[0013]
For attachment of the lamp 4, a fixing bracket 14 having a shape in which a downward supporting lever 13 is bent at both ends is used. A slit-like mounting hole 23 (see FIG. 2) is formed in the fixing bracket 14 in the left-right direction or the front-rear direction, and the mounting hole 23 is formed inside the front bumper 1 as shown in FIG. The flange 16 formed on the reinforcement 15 is fixed by bolt / nut means 17. Reference numeral 18 denotes an energy absorber made of foamed resin.
[0014]
The support lever 13 of the fixing bracket 14 has a curved cross-sectional shape along an arc R in the horizontal direction with the intermediate point X of the left and right first elongated holes 9 as the center. Moreover, the 2nd long hole 19 along the front-back direction is formed in the lower end part of this support lever 13, respectively.
[0015]
A spacer having a curved surface matching the curved sectional shape of the support lever 13 and having a through hole 20 formed between the first long hole 9 of the side surface portion 8 and the second long hole 19 of the support lever 13. 21 is interposed. After the screw 22 inserted into the second long hole 19 from the outside is passed through the through hole 20 and the first long hole 9 of the spacer 21, the screw 22 is screwed into the nut plate 12 in the housing 5 to attach the lamp 4. . At this time, since the nut plate 12 is accommodated in the vertical movement space P, the state of the nut plate 12 is stable, and it is easy to perform an operation of first screwing the screw 22 into the nut plate 12. Further, in the vertical movement space P, a gap S is formed between the ribs 10 and 11, and the structure does not interfere with the tip of the screw 22. Therefore, a long screw 22 can be used.
[0016]
According to the mounting method of this embodiment, the screw 22 is slightly loosened by the first long hole 9 in the vertical direction and the second long hole 19 curved in the front-rear direction, so that the vertical direction around the screw 22 is vertical. In addition to adjusting the rotation of the head (in the direction of arrow A in FIG. 3), adjusting the translation position in the vertical direction (in the direction of arrow B in FIG. 3) and adjusting the rotation of the head in the horizontal direction (indicated by arrow C in FIG. 2). Direction), fine adjustment at the time of mounting the lamp 4 is easy. In particular, the nut plate 12 is accommodated in the vertical movement space P, and the nut plate 12 moves smoothly without being caught. Therefore, it is easy to perform an operation of translating the lamp 4 in the vertical direction. The large position adjustment of the lamp 4 can be performed by changing the position of the bolt / nut means 17 with respect to the mounting hole 23 formed in the fixture 14 along the front-rear direction and the left-right direction.
[0017]
By the fine adjustment as described above, the surface of the lens 6 of the lamp 4 and the surface of the front surface portion 2 of the front bumper 1 are attached so as to be completely continuous. However, since the peripheral edge 6 a of the lamp 4 is different from the surface curvature of the front bumper 1, the front surface 2 of the front bumper 1 is interposed between the peripheral edge 6 a of the lens 6 and the peripheral edge of the opening 3. A turbulent flow prevention member 24 made of resin is provided to connect both surfaces so that the surface of the lens 6 and the surface of the lens 6 are continuous and the same surface. Therefore, the continuity between the surface of the lens 6 and the surface of the front bumper 1 is further improved. As shown in FIG. 1, the apex L of the front surface portion 2 of the front bumper 1 includes the lens 6 in the vehicle width direction. It becomes a continuous state in a straight line.
[0018]
In this way, the lamp 4 is mounted directly in the opening 3 of the front bumper 1, but the lens 6 of the lamp 4 and the front surface 2 of the front bumper 1 have the same surface curvature, and both surfaces are continuous. Since they are mounted on the same surface, they are excellent in terms of appearance and aerodynamic performance. In addition, since the lamp 4 is mounted on the front surface portion 2 of the front bumper 1 in a state where the lamp 4 protrudes from the front and there is no transparent cover that covers the lamp 4, the lighting performance of the lamp 4 can be further improved. A design that emphasizes the presence of the lamp 4 can be obtained.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the first long hole along the vertical direction and the curved second long hole along the front-rear direction can be adjusted only by swinging and rotating in the vertical direction around the screw. In addition, since the parallel movement position adjustment in the vertical direction and the swing rotation adjustment in the left-right direction can be performed, fine adjustment of the lamp mounting position during lamp mounting is easy.
[0020]
According to the invention described in claim 2, since the vertical movement space of the nut plate is defined in the housing, the vertical movement of the nut plate can be performed smoothly and the state of the nut plate is stabilized. On the other hand, it is easy to perform the work of screwing the screws first.
