Claims (5)
- リング電極と、その両側にエンドキャップ電極を備えたイオントラップ装置において、
前記エンドキャップ電極に電圧を印加して電極群に囲まれた空間に捕捉されたイオンを排出する際に、前記リング電極の電圧変動を防止するように、
前記リング電極と各エンドキャップ電極間の静電容量を調整する調整手段を設けた、ことを特徴とするイオントラップ装置。 - 調整手段が、前記リング電極と前記エンドキャップ電極間に接続されたコンデンサである、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のイオントラップ装置。
- 調整手段が、電極の形状の変化により実現されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のイオントラップ装置。
- 請求項1乃至3に記載のイオントラップ装置において、
前記リング電極と前記各エンドキャップ電極間の静電容量が、前記エンドキャップ電極に印加される電圧の大きさに反比例するように調整されている、ことを特徴とするイオントラップ装置。 - 請求項1乃至4に記載のイオントラップ装置において、
排出されたイオンは、飛行時間質量分析器に導入される、ことを特徴とするイオントラップ装置。
