Description
【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to an image reading apparatus that reads an image recorded on an optical film in frame units and records image data of each read frame on a rewritable recording medium.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Nowadays, the application field of digital image processing is rapidly expanding and is actually put into practical use in the industrial field, such as automation of visual inspection. On the other hand, the types of subjects are increasing explosively.
[0003]
For example, using a flatbed scanner (hereinafter simply referred to as a scanner) as a computer peripheral device, an image recorded on an optical film (hereinafter simply referred to as film) is read as a digital image and read. There is an image reading apparatus that records a digital image on a rewritable digital disc (hereinafter simply referred to as a disc).
[0004]
In the image reading apparatus, first, the images of the frames recorded on the film are sequentially read by the scanner. At this time, the user sequentially compares the free space of the disk and the image size of each frame read by the scanner for each frame, and issues a write command by, for example, a key input operation according to the comparison result. By doing so, the image of each frame recorded on the film is sequentially recorded on the disc. Further, for example, the laser printer as the computer peripheral device can print out the index information (hereinafter referred to as index print) of the disc on which the image of each frame is recorded as described above. 【The invention's effect】
In the image reading apparatus according to the present invention, the image reading means reads a plurality of images recorded on the optical film for each frame and converts them into electrical image data. The image display means displays the image data read by the image reading means. The control means displays the image data read by the image reading means and the data indicating the reading order on the image display means simultaneously with the reading operation for reading the image of the optical film for each frame by the image reading means. The image reading means and the display means are controlled. Thereby, the user can confirm intuitively and specifically what frame image has been read. Further, the user can check the read image at the time of reading. Therefore, working efficiency can be improved.
[0101]
In the image reading apparatus according to the present invention, the film feeding means moves the optical film on which a plurality of images are recorded in frame units. The image reading means reads the image recorded on the optical film in frame units and converts it into electrical image data. The storage means temporarily stores the image data obtained by the image reading means. The signal processing unit performs correction processing on the image data obtained by the image reading unit. The image display means displays an image based on the image data corrected by the signal processing means. The recording unit records the image data subjected to the correction process by the signal processing unit on a recording medium. In the pre-scan, the control means feeds the optical film in the forward direction by the film feeding means, and sequentially reads the images of all the frames recorded on the optical film on a frame-by-frame basis by the image reading means. Is stored in the storage means, and the film feeding means, the image reading means, the storage means, the signal processing means and the recording are set so that the correction conditions by the signal processing means are set based on the image data of each frame. Control each action of the means. In the main scan, the control means feeds the optical film in the reverse direction by the film feeding means, and images of all frames recorded on the optical film are sequentially read by the image reading means in frame units. Then, correction processing is performed by the signal processing means under the correction conditions set in the pre-scan, and the image data of each frame subjected to the correction processing is displayed by the image display means together with data indicating the order of fetching in frame units. The operations of the film feeding unit, the image reading unit, the storage unit, the signal processing unit, and the recording unit are controlled so that the image is displayed and recorded on the recording medium by the recording unit. Thereby, the user can confirm intuitively and specifically what frame image has been read. Further, the user can check the read image at the time of reading. Therefore, working efficiency can be improved. Further, since the pre-scan and the main scan are performed in one reciprocation, it is possible to quickly and reliably read the image of each frame recorded on the film. Therefore, since the processing time can be shortened, the working efficiency can be further improved.
