Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a component supply tape used for supplying electronic components to a component supply device of an automatic mounting machine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The component supply tape includes a band-shaped carrier tape in which a storage unit for storing components is formed, and a band-shaped top tape that covers the surface of the storage unit in order to prevent the stored component from popping out.
[0003]
Feed holes are formed at equal pitches in the longitudinal direction of the carrier tape, and when the component supply tape is set in the component supply device, the wheel teeth engage with the feed holes and the component supply tape is moved to the component supply position. The carrier tape is peeled off at the parts supply position, and the parts are taken out from the storage section that is an opening.
[0004]
Examples of such a component supply tape include a component supply tape for packaging semiconductor devices as shown below.
Embossing (extrusion processing) is performed on a carrier tape made of vinyl chloride resin, and a plurality of storage portions are formed along the long side direction. A plurality of feed holes for conveyance are formed on one side in the longitudinal direction of the carrier tape.
[0005]
A semiconductor device is stored in a storage portion formed by embossing, and a top tape having a two-layer structure of a PET (Polyethylene Tele-Phatarate) resin and a polyethylene resin is disposed so as to cover the upper surface of the storage portion.
[0006]
Then, the top tape and the carrier tape are bonded by thermocompression bonding or an adhesive with a taping device, and the semiconductor device is packed with the carrier tape and the top tape to obtain a component supply tape for packing the semiconductor device.
[0007]
The component supply tape is taken up on a take-up reel, set in the component supply device as described above, and conveyed while peeling the top tape from the carrier tape. The semiconductor device which can be taken out at the component supply position is taken out and mounted on the mounting board.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above component supply tape, it is necessary to fix the carrier tape and the top tape with thermocompression bonding or an adhesive when packing the semiconductor device, and it is necessary to peel the top tape from the carrier tape when unpacking, The packaging and unpacking process of the semiconductor device is complicated, and it becomes difficult to attach and detach the semiconductor device.
[0009]
In addition, since the top tape and the carrier tape are fixed by thermocompression bonding or an adhesive, the component supply tape may be damaged when the top tape is peeled off or the semiconductor device may be taken out due to variations in adhesive force.
[0010]
In addition, when the carrier tape and the top tape are fixed with an adhesive, the composition changes in the adhesive part, or the top tape or the carrier tape is torn due to adhesive stringing or uneven adhesion when the top tape is peeled off. Therefore, the component supply tape cannot be reused.
[0011]
An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and to provide a component supply tape that can be easily attached / detached between a top tape and a carrier tape, and that components can be easily attached / detached, and that the components and tape are not damaged, and that can be reused.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The component supply tape of the present invention is characterized in that the structure of the engaging portion between the carrier tape and the top tape is special.
[0013]
According to the present invention, it is easy to attach and detach the top tape and the carrier tape, and it is easy to attach and detach components, and it is possible to realize a reusable component supply tape that does not damage the components and the tape itself.
[0014]

And a blade that extends along the slit and engages with the slit of the carrier tape.
[0017]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a packaging method for a component supply tape, comprising: a carrier tape having a storage section for storing components; a carrier tape having slits formed in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction; and a carrier tape extending along the longitudinal direction. When packing an electronic component with a top tape formed with a blade that engages with the slit, the electronic component is placed in the storage portion of the carrier tape, and the surface of the storage portion storing the component is topped on the carrier tape. Covering and covering the tape, the blades of the top tape are engaged with the slits of the carrier tape to connect the carrier tape and the top tape to pack the electronic component.
