【発明が解決しようとする課題】

以下、本発明の実施の形態による車体の補強構造について、図面を参照しながら説明する。なお、従来と同じ構成部材については同一の符号を付して説明する。
図1は、本発明に係る車体の補強構造を示し、この補強構造はフロントピラー部2の下部とサイドシル部4を強化するものである。車体の側部に配設されるサイドボディアウタパネル1の前部には、ルーフ(一部のみ示す)1aを支持するフロントピラー部2が設けられ、そのほぼ中央より下部にはドアヒンジパネル3がサイドボディアウタパネル1の室内側に配設される。また、サイドシル部4には、サイドシルアウタパネル5がサイドボディアウタパネル1の車室側に配設される。

上記ドアヒンジパネルの下端側及び上記車室側パネル間には、横断面がコ字形であり、その下部が車両後方向に延設した側面視で略L字形状であり、かつ縦断面が縦部と車両下側の底部からなるL字形であるドアヒンジ補強メンバを設け、上記ドアヒンジパネル及びサイドシルアウタパネルと上記サイドボディアウタパネルとの間には、上記ドアヒンジパネルとサイドシルアウタパネルとの接合部を跨ぎ、かつ上記ドアヒンジ補強メンバの縦部と底部に接合されたサイドシル補強メンバを設けたことを特徴とする車体の補強構造。
