Claims (4)
- ラック及びピニオンステアリング(steering)歯車において、
軸方向に伸びる通路(14)と、該軸方向に伸びる通路に対し垂直に伸び且つハウジング(12)内で軸方向に伸びる通路(16)と接続するヨーク(56)とを有するハウジング(12)と、
ハウジング(12)内で回転可能に取り付けられ、歯(32)を有するピニオン歯車(26)と、
ハウジングの軸方向に伸びる通路(14)を通って伸び且つ、ピニオン歯車(26)に対して可動であるラックバー(34)であって、ピニオン歯車の歯とかみ合い係合した歯を有する前記ラックバー(34)と、
ラックバー(34)を少なくとも部分的に支持し且つピニオン歯車(26)に対するラックバー(34)の軸方向への動きを案内し得るようにハウジング(12)のヨークボア(18)内に配置されたヨーク組立体(54)であって、
ラックバー(34)が軸方向に動く間、ラックバーに接触し且つ回転する第一及び第二のローラ組立体(154、166)を有するヨーク(56)と、該ヨークに固定され且つ第一のローラ組立体(154)を支持する第一のスピンドル(112)と、ヨーク(56)に対して固定され且つ第二のローラ組立体(166)を支持する第二のスピンドル(114)とを有する前記ヨーク組立体(54)とを備え、
第一のスピンドル(112)の両端がヨーク(56)によって支持され、第一のローラ組立体(154)が第一のスピンドル(112)の両端の間で支持され、
第二のスピンドル(114)の両端がヨーク(56)によって支持され、第二のローラ組立体(166)が第二のスピンドル(114)の両端の間で支持され、
第一のローラ組立体(154)が、第一のブッシュ(124)と、第一のローラ(144)とを有し、
第一のローラ(144)が、第一のブッシュ(124)に対して固定され、第一のブッシュ(124)が第一のスピンドル(112)により回転可能に支持されるようにし、
第二のローラ組立体(166)が、第二のブッシュ(134)と、第二のローラ(156)とを有し、
第二のローラ(156)が、第二のブッシュ(134)に対して固定され、第二のブッシュ(134)が第二のスピンドル(114)により回転可能に支持され、
第一及び第二のローラ(144、156)の双方が、ラックバー(34)に接触する軸受面(152,164)を有し、
第一及び第二のブッシュ(124、134)の双方が、それぞれのスピンドル(112,114)に接触する第一の部分(126、136)と、それぞれのローラ(144、156)の外面の一部分と接触する第二の部分(130、140)とを有し、
ヨーク(56)が、第一及び第二のポケット部(80、94)を有し、
第一及び第二のポケット部(80、94)が、それぞれのローラ組立体(154、166)の軸方向幅よりも広い軸方向幅を有し、
第一のポケット部(80)が、第一のローラ組立体(154)を受け入れ、
第二のポケット部(94)が、第二のローラ組立体(166)を受け入れ、
ポケット部(80、94)の各々が、内側壁(82,96)及び外側壁(84、98)を有し、
ブッシュ(124、134)の各々の一部分(130、140)が、それぞれのポケット部(80、94)の外側壁(84、98)に接触し、
且つ各ローラ(144、156)の内面がそれぞれのポケット部(80、94)の内側壁(82,96)に接触するようにしたラック及びピニオンステアリング歯車。 - 請求項1のラック及びピニオンステアリング歯車において、
ローラ(144、156)の各々の軸受面が凸型であり、ラックバー(34)と点接触が実現されるようにしたラック及びピニオンステアリング歯車。 - 請求項1又は2のラック及びピニオンステアリング歯車において、
ヨーク(56)が、第一のポケット部(80)と第二のポケット部(94)との間に中心決めされた中央チャネル部(68)を更に有し、
該中央チャネル部(68)が、ヨーク(56)を貫通して軸方向に伸びる凹形部をなし、該中央チャネル部(68)の凹形部内に、ラックバー(34)のローブ(42)部分を受け入れることにより、ラックバー(34)がヨーク(56)に対して回転するのを防止し得るようにしたラック及びピニオンステアリング歯車。 - 請求項1又は2のラック及びピニオンステアリング歯車において、
ポケット部(80、94)の各々の内面及び外面が、耐磨耗性、低摩擦の被覆にて被覆されるようにしたラック及びピニオンステアリング歯車。
