Description
図1は本発明に係る円偏波マイクロ波を用いた非回転無電極放電ランプシステムを示す図である。図1を参照すると、マイクロ波発振器を用いて線偏波マイクロ波を送り出す長方形導波管1は入力円筒形導波管2と一直線に連結されており、円偏波の均衡を取らせる機能をなすことが可能な終端閉鎖の長方形導波管3は入力円筒形導波管2の一側面と直角に連結されており、前記入力円筒形導波管2は楕円形導波管(1/4波長板)4と一直線に連結されており、前記楕円形導波管4は放電ランプ5が取り付けられた円筒形導波管6と一直線に連結されている。

Claims (5)
- 無電極放電ランプ用円偏波変換装置において、マイクロ波発振器を用いて線偏波マイクロ波を送り出す長方形導波管(1)が入力円筒形導波管(2)と一直線に連結されており、前記入力円筒形導波管(2)の外周面に終端閉鎖の長方形導波管(3)が直角に連結されており、楕円形導波管(4)が短軸成分80mmおよび長軸成分108mmの場合、該楕円形導波管(4)の長軸が前記長方形導波管(1)の長軸に対し40〜50°の角度で回転しているように、前記入力円筒形導波管(2)と一直線に連結されているとともに、網体(7)で覆われた放電ランプ(5)が反射鏡(9)の板上に固定される円筒形導波管(6)と一直線に連結されていることを特徴とする円偏波マイクロ波を用いた非回転無電極放電ランプシステム。
- 前記長方形導波管(1)と終端閉鎖の長方形導波管(3)とが入力円筒形導波管(2)に連結される際、連結部面にモードフィルタ(10)が配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の円偏波マイクロ波を用いた非回転無電極放電ランプシステム。
- 前記楕円形導波管(4)は、短軸成分80mm及び長軸成分108mmの場合、その長軸が長方形導波管(1)の長軸に対し40〜50°の角度で回転したまま設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の円偏波マイクロ波を用いた非回転無電極放電ランプシステム。
- 無電極放電ランプ用円偏波変換装置において、マイクロ波発振器を用いて線偏波マイクロ波を送り出す長方形導波管(1)が、該長方形導波管(1)の長軸がスタブ(13)の挿入された楕円形導波管(4)の長軸に対し40〜50°の角度で回転しているように、短軸成分80mmおよび長軸成分108mmの場合の楕円形導波管(4)と一直線に連結されており、前記楕円形導波管(4)が、網体(7)で覆われた放電ランプ(5)が反射鏡(9)の板上に固定される円筒形導波管(6)と一直線に連結されていることを特徴とする円偏波マイクロ波を用いた非回転無電極放電ランプシステム。
- 前記楕円形導波管に四つのスタブを挿入したことを特徴とする請求項4記載の円偏波マイクロ波を用いた非回転無電極放電ランプシステム。
