Description
【0001】

The fixed message file 12-3 stores fixed message data which is a constituent element of the composite message broadcast in the store, and FIG. 4A shows the specific contents of the fixed message file 12-3. Yes. That is, the fixed message file 12-3 stores fixed message data (fixed phrases) corresponding to each key. The fixed phrase “Is welcome” is stored in the key No “001” and the fixed message is stored in the key No “002”. The phrase “Today's special sale item”... Stored in the key No. “100” is the fixed phrase “$ 1 $ 2 is $ 3,”. Here, “$ 1, $ 2, and $ 3” are identifiers that define an assignment unit (variable length) indicating that product data should be inserted into the standard message data, and a
The specification file 12-5 temporarily stores the creation specification instructed by the operator when creating the composite message data by combining the contents of the PLU master file 12-1 and the fixed message file 12-3. Automatically generates composite message data based on the contents of the spec file 12-5 and stores it in the composite message file 12-2.
The work memory 12-6 is a work area that temporarily stores programs, intermediate results of data processing, and the like.
[0010]

FIG. 5 and subsequent FIG. 6 are flowcharts showing the operation when the
First, when a message creation is instructed, a message setting screen and a standard candidate selection window screen are displayed and output on the display device 16 (step A1). FIG. 8A shows a setting screen in this case, and this setting screen is divided into upper, middle, and lower areas. The intermediate area between the header part and the footer part in the setting screen is hereinafter referred to as a master data part. The fixed form candidate selection window screen displays a list of fixed form message data set in the fixed form message file 12-3, and its contents are arbitrarily scrolled.
[0011]
Now, when the cursor is designated as the input target by the mouse operation on the setting screen (step A2), the display contents of the standard candidate selection window are visually confirmed, and the standard candidate selection is performed in order to select arbitrary standard message data. When a cursor is designated at an arbitrary item position on the window (step A3), the selected standard message item is read from the standard message file 12-3 and displayed and output in the header area of the setting screen. The item key corresponding to the data is read from the standard message file 12-3 and set in the work memory 12-6 (step A4). The display example of FIG. 8A is a case where the standard message data of the item keys “001” and “002” is selected as the standard message item of the header part. Next, when the cursor is designated with the master data portion as an input target (step A5) and the cursor is designated at an arbitrary item position on the fixed candidate selection window (step A6), the selected fixed candidate selection window becomes the master data portion area. The item key is set in the work memory 12-6 (step A7), and the product name in the PLU master file 12-1 is displayed in a window (step A8). When the item position is designated by the cursor to select an arbitrary product name from the product name window screen (step A9), the PLU master file 12-1 is searched based on the selected product and corresponds to the product. The PLU record to be read is read (step A10), the product name, unit price, and sale unit price are displayed and output in the detail area of the master data section on the setting screen, and these are used as output items, and the PLU code is output data The key is set in the work memory 12-6 as a key (step A11). Now, the display example shown in FIG. 8A is the case where the standard message data “$ 1 $ 2 Yen is $ 3 Yen” corresponding to the item key “100” is selected, and the product “
[0012]
Next, when the cursor is designated with the footer part as an input target (step A12) and the cursor is designated at an arbitrary item position on the standard candidate selection window (step A13), the selected standard message data is displayed and output in the footer part area. At the same time, the item key is set in the work memory 12-6 (step A14). The display example shown in FIG. 8A is a case where the fixed message data of the item keys “200” and “201” is selected as the fixed message item of the footer part. Next, the process proceeds to step A15, where it is checked whether message creation is completed and the confirmation is instructed. If there is no confirmation instruction, the process returns to step A2 and the above-described operation is repeated. Here, when the message creation is completed and the confirmation is instructed, a process of automatically creating the spec file 12-5 based on the contents of the work memory 12-6 is performed (step A16). FIG. 8B specifically shows the contents of the spec file 12-5, and corresponds to the setting screen of FIG. 8A. A composite message file 12-2 is automatically created based on the contents of the specification file 12-5. FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing a process of creating the composite message file 12-2.
[0013]
First, the contents of the spec file 12-5 are read and analyzed (step A17). Here, each item key of the header part and the master data part is extracted from the specification file 12-5, the standard message file 12-3 is searched based on the extracted item message data, and the standard message data corresponding to this key is read and combined. Then, it is written in the composite message file 12-2 (step A18). Then, referring to the variable definition table 12-4, identifiers $ 1, $ 2, and $ 3 for defining the substitution part included in the standard message data of the master data part are extracted, and the type of each identifier is determined. At the same time (step A19), the item data in the PLU record corresponding to the type is inserted into the substitution unit (step A20). In this case, the standard message data in the master data portion is “$ 1 $ 2 is $ 3,” and the product name “1 liter of milk” is inserted in the identifier “$ 1” that appears first. A unit price “200” is inserted into “$ 2”, and a special unit price “100” is inserted into the last “$ 3”. As a result, “milk” is stored in the composite message file 12-2 as message data about the product. 1 liter of 200 yen is 100 yen, "is created. Then, the process proceeds to step A21, where it is checked whether there is another PLU code as an output data key in the spec file 12-5. If there is, the standard message data “$ 1 $ 2 is $ 3,” in the master data part Is copied to the standard message file 12-3 (step A22). Thereafter, the process returns to step A19 in order to create message data of the product corresponding to the PLU code, and the above-described operation is repeated. As a result, message data “180 yen for 80 slices of bread” is created for the product in the composite message file 12-2. When the message data for all the commodities is created, the process proceeds to step A23, and the fixed message data corresponding to each item key of the footer part is combined and written to the composite message file 12-2. FIG. 8C shows the contents of the composite message file 12-2 created in this way.
[0014]
FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing the operation when the
First, when a sale unit price is set in the PLU master file 12-1, a sale time is read from the record, the sale time is compared with the system time (current time), and the sale unit price indicates whether the sale time has been reached. Judgment is made for each set product (step B1), and if any product has not reached the special sale time, the flow ends. However, when the special sale time is reached, the message data of the product is held as it is. Then, the message data of other products (products that have not reached the special sale time) are deleted from the composite message file 12-2, and the contents are re-edited (step B2). Then, the contents of the synthesized message file 12-2 are transmitted to the
[0015]
As described above, in the
In addition, when multiple products are specified in the detail area of the master data part, the standard message data in the master data part is copied for the specified number of products, and the product data corresponding to the substitution part of each standard message data is inserted. Therefore, the operator only needs to specify a plurality of products, and can easily obtain message data for each product. Furthermore, even if a plurality of substitution parts are defined in the standard message data, it is automatically determined which item data of the product record is inserted into which substitution part by referring to the contents of the variable definition table 12-4. Therefore, a more complicated product message can be easily obtained by using the fixed message data.
Further, when product messages corresponding to a plurality of products are incorporated in the composite message file 12-2 at the time of message output, the message of the product that has reached the sale time is held, and the message of the product that has not reached the sale time Since the contents of the composite message file 12-2 are re-edited, a plurality of messages having different product contents can be output even with one composite message data.
[0015]
(Second Embodiment)
Hereinafter, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. In the first embodiment described above, the composite message data is created by arbitrarily selecting the standard message data prepared as text data in advance or by arbitrarily selecting the product in the PLU master file. However, in the second embodiment, the standard message data and product data are digitally recorded by voice input by the user, and the composite message data is created by arbitrarily selecting the recorded contents.
FIG. 9A is a block configuration diagram of the
[0016]
Next, the operation of the second embodiment will be described with reference to the flowcharts shown in FIGS.
FIG. 10 is a flowchart showing the operation when registering the standard message data by voice. First, a message name is keyed and registered in the standard message file 12-7 (step C1). Then, when the standard message data is inputted by voice from the voice input device 22 (step C2), the voice data analog / digital converted by the voice input device 22 is taken in (step C3), and is inputted to the standard message file 12- 7 is written at the current position (step C4). In the middle of this voice input, when an assignment unit indicating what kind of product data should be inserted at an arbitrary position of the standard message data is input (step C5), the type of the designated substitution unit is determined. (Step C6) When the product name substitution unit is designated, “$ 1” defining the product name substitution unit is written in the current position of the standard message file 12-7 (Step C7), and the unit price substitution unit designates it. If so, “$ 2” defining the unit price substitution part is written (step C8). Now, FIG. 13B shows the registration contents of the standard message file 12-7, and the case where the product name substitution unit “$ 1” is designated after “I welcome you. . Since the process returns to step C2 until the end of registration is instructed in step C9, the unit price substitution unit “$ 2” is designated after inputting “. You can input "".
[0017]
FIG. 11 is a flowchart showing the merchandise data voice registration process.
First, when the type of product data to be input by voice is specified, the type is determined (step D1), and if it is a product name, the product name area of the product data file 12-8 is accessed (step D2). If it is a unit price, the unit price area of the product data file 12-8 is accessed (step D3), and a voice input waiting state is entered (step D4). In this state, when voice is input, the voice data digitally converted by the voice input device 22 is taken, a record No (series No) is added to it, and written in the product name area / unit price area of the product data file 12-8. (Steps D5 and D6). Then, until the end of registration in the product name area or the unit price area is instructed (step D7), the voice input is waited (step D4), and the same operation is repeated thereafter. Here, FIG. 13A shows the registration contents of the product data file 12-8. In the product name area, a record number is added to the identifier $ 1 that defines the product name substitution unit, and voice data (product name) is displayed. Are sequentially registered, and in the unit price area, the record $ is added to the identifier $ 2 defining the unit price substituting unit, and the voice data (unit price) is sequentially registered.
[0018]
FIG. 12 is a flowchart showing an operation in the case of creating a composite message by arbitrarily selecting the recording contents of the standard message file 12-7 and the product data file 12-8.
First, all the message names in the fixed message file 12-7 are read and displayed in a list (step E1). When an arbitrary message name is selected from the list, the fixed message data corresponding to the selected message name is read. In addition to being written in the speech synthesis memory 12-9 together with the message name (step E2), the substitution part defined in the standard message data is extracted from the head (step E3). Here, when a plurality of substitution parts are defined in the standard message data, it is checked whether or not all of the substitution parts have been extracted (step E4). First, the top substitution part in the standard message data is extracted. Since it is a case, it progresses to step E5 and discriminate | determines the kind of substitution part. Here, if the substitution part identifier is “$”, the audio data for one record is read from the head of the product name area in the product data file 12-8, and is given to the audio output device 23 built in the
[0019]
In the state where the synthesized message in which the product data is incorporated in the fixed part of the standard message data is created and written in the voice synthesis memory 12-9 in this way, when the contents are broadcast in the store, the voice synthesis memory 12-9 is used. When a message name stored in the list is displayed and an arbitrary message name is selected from the list, synthesized message data corresponding to the selected message name is sent to the in-store broadcasting
[0020]
As described above, in the second embodiment, the standard message data and the product data can be recorded by voice input, and the substitution unit to insert the product data at an arbitrary position of the recorded standard message data is defined. If so, it is possible to obtain composite message data in which product data is incorporated in the substitution part of the standard message data. Therefore, the standard message data and product data can be easily registered by voice input, and the message broadcast in the store is not a mechanical sound but a reproduction of the contents directly recorded by the broadcaster etc., and the product data The message content can be easily changed by simply rearranging.
[0021]
In each embodiment described above, the composite message is broadcast in the store, but the message may be displayed on the bulletin board. Alternatively, the next sale information may be printed on a receipt issued on the
In the second embodiment described above, the standard message data and the product data are voice-recorded and recorded in advance. However, the standard message data is voice-input and voice-recognized, and the recognition result ( Character string code) may be registered as standard message data. In this case, if a discrete generation method by a specific speaker is adopted as the speech recognition device and the number of recognized words is limited to some extent, it can be realized by a simple speech recognition device. In this case, if the product name and unit price are called from the PLU master file and incorporated into the standard message data, it is not necessary to input the product data by voice, and the voice recognition is unnecessary.
[0022]
Therefore, in the present invention, a plurality of fixed message data are displayed, arbitrary fixed message data are selected from the displayed fixed message data, and the selected fixed message data are combined, If a substitution part that indicates that product data should be inserted into the standard message data is defined, composite message data is created by inserting arbitrary product data into the substitution part, and the composite message data The contents can be stored after being displayed, and when creating message data that guides product information, the standard message and product data prepared in advance are combined, and the combination content is confirmed on the display and displayed as desired. Content message data can be created easily and reliably.
