【産業上の利用分野】
本発明は、ＩＣカ−ド、磁気ディスク、フロッピ−ディスク等の記憶媒体から、選択手段にて必要な情報をディスプレイに表示する表示装置に係り、特に上記記憶媒体の記事情報を表示する前にコマ−シャル等の広告情報を時間監視手段を使用して一定時間表示することができる表示装置及びその制御方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来の記事情報及び広告情報を表示する表示装置について図４を使って説明する。図４は、従来の表示装置の構成ブロック図である。
従来の表示装置は、図４に示すように、キ−情報ａと、デ−タ部指標ｂとが関係付けて格納されているインデックス部１０と、記事及び広告の表示デ−タｃが格納されているデータ部２０と、選択したキ−情報ａ′から表示デ−タｃを取得してディスプレイ５０に送出する制御手段３０と、キ−情報ａを選択して制御手段３０に送出する選択手段４０と、表示デ−タｃをモニタ−に表示するディスプレイ５０とから構成されている。

次に、従来の表示装置における各部について図４及び図５を使って具体的に説明する。図５は、従来の表示装置におけるインデックス部１０の内容例とデータ部２０の内容例の関係図である。
インデックス部１０は、図５に示すように、ユニークなキ−コ−ドとデ−タの見出語となるキ−項目とから成るキ−情報ａを複数保有し、デ−タ部２０に格納されている複数のキー情報ａに対応した複数の表示デ−タｃの格納先である各アドレスを示すデータ部指標ｂを保有し、キー情報ａとデータ部指標ｂとが関係付けられて格納されている。例えば、キー情報ａにおけるキー項目「経済面」にはキーコード「０１０００」が与えられ、更に対応する記事がデータ部２０の「記事３」に格納されており、キー項目「経済面」に対応するデータ部指標ｂはこの「記事３」のアドレスが書き込まれている。

デ−タ部２０は、図５に示すように、記事情報と広告情報の表示デ−タｃが混在して格納されたＩＣカード、磁気ディスク、フロッピーディスク等の記憶装置となっており、インデックス部１０を使って必要な記事・広告情報の表示データｃを読み出すことができるようになっている。

制御手段３０は、第１に、選択手段４０より送出されたキ−情報ａ′のキーコードとインデックス部１０内のキ−情報ａのキーコードを比較し、一致するキーコードがあればデ−タ部指標ｂにおける対応するアドレスを取得する。第２に、インデックス部１０で取得したデ−タ部指標ｂに示されたアドレスに従ってデ−タ部２０内の当該アドレスに格納されている表示デ−タｃを読み出して取得する。第３に、デ−タ部２０から取得した表示デ−タｃをディスプレイ５０に送出するものである。

次に、従来の表示装置の制御方法について図４及び図５を使って説明する。
オペレ−タが選択手段４０を使ってキ−入力を行って記事又は広告を選択すると、選択したキ−に対応したキ−コ−ドを含むキ−情報ａ′を制御手段３０に出力する。そして、制御手段３０では、選択したキ−情報ａ′とインデックス部１０におけるキ−情報ａ内のいずれかと一致するかどうか、例えば、両キー情報のキーコードを比較することで判定し、一致するキー情報があれば、関係付けられたデ−タ部指標ｂを取得する。

次に、制御手段３０は、デ−タ部指標ｂに示されたアドレスに従って、デ−タ部２０をアクセスし、データ部２０内の記事又は広告の表示デ−タｃを読み出し、ディスプレイ５０に送出する。そして、ディスプレイ５０で表示デ−タｃの表示動作が為され、モニターに記事又は広告の情報が表示される。

同様に、キ−入力により特定の「広告面」を選択すると、それに付されたキーコード「９９０００」から対応するデータ部指標ｂを取得し、データ部指標ｂのアドレスによりデ−タ部２０から表示データｃ「広告２」を取得して「広告２」の広告情報の表示を行う。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来の表示装置及びその制御方法では、記事情報又は広告情報のいずれか１つの情報を選択して、デ−タ部２０から選択した１つの情報のみをディスプレイ５０に表示するようにしているため、記事情報を選択して表示している限り、広告情報が表示されることがなく、スポンサーにとって宣伝効果を期待できないという問題点があった。

本発明は上記実情に鑑みて為されたもので、記事情報を選択すると、記事情報を表示する前に、一定時間広告情報を表示させることができる表示装置及びその制御方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記従来例の問題点を解決するための請求項１記載の発明は、表示装置において、記事情報と広告情報の複数の表示データが格納されたデータ部と、前記表示データを表示する表示手段と、前記記事情報を識別するキー情報と前記データ部における前記記事情報のアドレスを示す記事データ部指標とが関係付けて格納された記事インデックス部と、前記キー情報と前記広告情報の表示時間を示すタイマ値及び前記データ部における前記広告情報のアドレスを示す広告データ部指標から成る広告制御情報とが関係付けて格納された広告パラメータ部と、前記キー情報を選択する選択手段と、前記タイマ値に基づいて時間のカウントを行い、カウント終了時に終了通知を出力する時間監視手段と、前記選択手段で選択されたキー情報に対して前記広告パラメータ部で一致するキー情報に関係付けられたタイマ値と広告データ部指標から成る広告制御情報を取得し、前記広告データ部指標により前記データ部から前記キー情報に対応する広告情報の表示デ−タを読み出して前記表示手段に出力し、前記時間監視手段に前記タイマ値を出力し、前記終了通知を受け取って前記広告情報の表示を終了させ、前記選択手段で選択されたキー情報に対して前記記事インデックス部で一致するキー情報に関係付けられた記事データ部指標を取得し、前記記事データ部指標により前記データ部から前記キー情報に対応する記事情報の表示デ−タを読み出して前記表示手段に出力する制御手段とを有することを特徴としている。

上記従来例の問題点を解決するための請求項２記載の発明は、請求項１記載の表示装置の制御方法において、制御手段が選択手段で選択されたキー情報に一致する広告パラメータ部内のキー情報を検索し、一致したキー情報に関係付けられた広告制御情報からタイマ値と広告データ部指標を取得し、前記広告データ部指標によりデータ部から広告情報の表示データを読み出して表示手段に出力し、前記タイマ値により時間監視手段から終了通知を受けて前記広告情報の表示を終了し、前記選択手段で選択されたキー情報に一致する記事インデックス部内のキー情報を検索し、一致したキー情報に関係付けられた記事データ部指標を取得し、前記記事データ部指標により前記データ部から記事情報の表示データを読み出して前記表示手段に出力することを特徴としている。

【作用】
請求項１記載の発明によれば、記事インデックス部で記事情報を識別するキー情報と対応する記事情報のデータ部における表示データのアドレスを示す記事データ部指標とを関連付けて格納し、広告パラメータ部で前記キー情報と対応する広告情報の表示時間となるタイマ値及び広告情報のデータ部における表示データのアドレスを示す広告データ部指標とを広告制御情報として関連付けて格納し、時間監視手段でタイマ値に従ったカウントを行い、選択手段でキー情報を選択すると、制御手段がまず広告パラメータ部から選択されたキー情報に対応するタイマ値と広告データ部指標を取得し、広告データ部指標よりデータ部から広告情報の表示データを読み出して表示手段に表示させ、但しタイマ値に従って時間監視手段が表示時間を特定時間とし、広告情報表示終了後に記事インデックス部から選択されたキー情報に対応する記事データ部指標を取得し、記事データ部指標よりデータ部から記事情報の表示データを読み出して表示手段に表示させる表示装置としているので、記事情報を選択すると、記事情報を表示する前に、一定時間広告情報を表示させることができる。

図１は、本発明の一実施例に係る表示装置の構成ブロック図である。尚、図４と同様の構成をとる部分については同一の符号を付して説明する。

本実施例の表示装置は、図１に示すように、記事情報のみに関するキー情報ａと、記事データ部指標ｄが関係付けて格納されている記事インデックス部１５と、記事・広告情報の表示データｃが格納されているデータ部２０と、選択したキー情報ａ′から表示デ−タｃを取得してディスプレイ５０に送出し、時間監視手段７０にタイマ値ｆを渡して終了通知ｈを受ける制御手段３５と、選択したキー情報ａ′を制御手段３５に出力する選択手段４０と、表示デ−タｃをモニタ−に表示するディスプレイ５０と、キ−情報ａに対応してタイマ値ｆ及び広告デ−タ部指標ｇから成る広告制御情報ｅが関係付けて格納されている広告パラメ−タ部６０と、タイマ値ｆに従って時間のカウントを行い、カウント終了を終了通知ｈでもって制御手段３５に通知する時間監視手段７０とから構成されている。

次に、本実施例の表示装置における各部について図１及び図２を使って具体的に説明する。図２は、本実施例の記事インデックス部１５の内容例及び広告パラメータ部６０の内容例とデータ部２０の内容例の関係図である。
記事インデックス部１５は、ユニークなキ−コ−ドとデ−タの見出語となるキ−項目とから成るキ−情報ａと、デ−タ部２０に格納されている記事情報の表示デ−タｃのアドレスを示す記事デ−タ部指標ｄとが関係付けられて格納されている。
デ−タ部２０は、ＩＣカード、磁気ディスク、フロッピーディスク等の記憶装置から構成され、記事情報と広告情報の表示デ−タｃ1,ｃ2 が混在して格納された記憶装置となっている。

時間監視手段７０は、制御手段３５から受け取ったタイマ値ｆに従って時間カウントを行い、制御手段３５に広告表示終了を示す終了通知ｈを出力するものである。

次に、本実施例の表示装置の制御方法について図３を使って説明する。図３は、本実施例の表示装置の制御手段における制御方法のフロ−チャ−ト図である。オペレ−タが選択手段４０でキ−入力を行うと、キ−情報ａ′が制御手段３５に出力され、制御手段３５ではこのキー情報ａ′を受け取る（１００）。すると、制御手段３５は、キ−情報ａ′のキ−コ−ドと広告パラメ−タ部６０内のキ−コ−ドとを比較する（１０１）。選択手段４０で選択したキ−情報ａ′の中のキ−コ−ドと広告パラメ−タ部６０内のキ−コ−ドとが一致したら、そのキ−コ−ドに対応する広告制御情報ｅとしてタイマ値ｆ及び広告デ−タ部指標ｇを取得する（１０２）。

請求項１記載の発明によれば、記事インデックス部で記事情報を識別するキー情報と対応する記事情報のデータ部における表示データのアドレスを示す記事データ部指標とを関連付けて格納し、広告パラメータ部で前記キー情報と対応する広告情報の表示時間となるタイマ値及び広告情報のデータ部における表示データのアドレスを示す広告データ部指標とを広告制御情報として関連付けて格納し、時間監視手段でタイマ値に従ったカウントを行い、選択手段でキー情報を選択すると、制御手段がまず広告パラメータ部から選択されたキー情報に対応するタイマ値と広告データ部指標を取得し、広告データ部指標よりデータ部から広告情報の表示データを読み出して表示手段に表示させ、但しタイマ値に従って時間監視手段が表示時間を特定時間とし、広告情報表示終了後に記事インデックス部から選択されたキー情報に対応する記事データ部指標を取得し、記事データ部指標よりデータ部から記事情報の表示データを読み出して表示手段に表示させる表示装置としているので、記事情報を選択すると、記事情報を表示する前に、一定時間広告情報を表示させることができ、確実かつ定量的に宣伝できる効果がある。
